I recently made a purchase from Loveday Antiques. This experience is how buying beautiful objects should be.

I saw the item on the internet, reviewed the Loveday Antiques website and arrange a visit to see the piece I was interested in.

From our initial contact, arranging a viewing, discussing the item and then to sale and delivery everything was perfect. Alexander is professional, knowledgeable, generous with his time and at every stage of my purchase I felt one hundred percent confident.

My buying experience felt more like discussing arrangements with an old friend rather than with someone I had only just met.

Alexander instils trust and confidence. Working with him was a joy from start to finish.

I can hardly describe the feeling. The carving is magnificent and absolutely breathtaking.

It exceeded my expectations when I saw it in person. It is a heavy and very handsome little fella and has to be handled with care when moved. :-D

The patina, deep red-brown, mixed with a touch of black and beige colours are fantastic, deep and very rich. The textures of the wood, the gracious curves, kinks, angles and some of the subtle edges and carved details are magnificent.

I purchased a beautiful antique sofa from Loveday Antiques after seeing it online. Because I’m not too far away, I drove over to Loveday to see the sofa and try it out. And it was lovely – exactly as shown in the photographs. Alex was very kind and helpful and made me feel very comfortable about taking my time. Purchased a table ,and small chest of drawers . Buying from overseas unseen . Alex made the whole process , both easy , and a pleasure . He is a can do man , nothing is a problem , or too much trouble when trying to get as much information as possible about the pieces of interest , and as I had some reservations about on line images , more in natural light wer immediately provided . The quality of the furniture is excellent , truthfully described , and hard sell is not part of Lovedays ethic .
All in all I am a very satisfied customer , would certainly deal again , if the purse would all . I could not recommend Lovedays and especially Alex more highly . Jk

This is one of the best and trustworthy companies.I've dealt with online. The products are as good as described online and even better. We just purchased a 19th century desk and when it arrived it was even better than it was described online and in emails with the director Mr. Loveday. Also, the courier service used by Loveday Antiques Ltd. was excellant and very efficient. I recently bought a cocktail cabinet from Loveday Antiques. They answered all my questions very quickly and efficiently via email. Once I purchased the cabinet I was very satisfied about the feedback about the transportation and delivery. Once delivered the cabinet was exactly as shown on the pictures.
