Excellent customer service of Lycamobile

This review is regarding Lycamobile customer center. I don’t remember the name of the person who answered my call. However I called regarding transfering my lycamobile number to another service provider. Though it is a loss of business for them by I am transferring from Lycamobile they kindly assisted me on how to fix it and I truly want to put a review on that experience

Horrible customer service

Money withdrawn under false pretences

I bought an eSIM, but I accidentally deleted it from my device. I called Lyca customer support. They said to me that I cannot reinstall the eSIM and I should just buy a new one. He told me that the eSIM CANNOT BE USED now after being deleted. I bought and activated a new SIM and NEVER EVER used that first SIM with the 149 SEK plan.

The CS never told me that I need to manually block it with Lyca. He never exaplined that even if the SIM cannot be used and WILL NEVER be used by me, the payments will still be withdrawn.
In the end, 849 SEK was just stolen from my account.
And even after a repeated conversation with CS about this and a promise to refund, the money was STILL being taken again.

I reqyest to refund me 849 SEK.

Worst customer service

I’m giving two stars only because of the price and the fact that everything works fine until you encounter an issue. After that, it becomes a nightmare. All support channels require enormous patience just to get answers to basic questions, no one seems willing to put in the mental effort to actually solve problems. I struggled for months with an issue topping up my account and eventually decided to switch to another vendor.

They take your money but doesn’t…

They take your money but doesn’t deliver what they promise.
The reply they gave, “sorry that you didn’t get the SIM card” is a lie, I already have a SIM card from them that doesn’t work.

This is basically a scam company, if possible, choose another supplier of this service!!!

Gå med i FB gruppen Tillsammans mot Lycamobile om du behöver hjälp med att anmäla till Konsumentverket och andra instanser och om du vill bidra och påverka. Länkar finns i gruppen. Tillsammans ser vi till att denna bedrägliga operatör nås av rättsliga konsekvenser.

Jag skulle så gärna vilja se åtminstone en telefon som verkligen fungerar med LycaMobile.

Jag har nu testat mitt både gammalt SIM-kort som har några år på nacken och alldeles nytt SIM-kort, nyligen registrerat och kompatibelt med 5G. Det går inte att ringa med något av dem. Har förgäves sökt svar i ett år nu. Fortfarande ingen åtgärd, ingen förklaring, ingen återbetalning.

Testade i iPhone 6, iPhone 15 och Android 13 med 5G och Volte. Dessa telefoner fungerar med alla andra operatörer. Med Lyca kommer inga samtal fram, varken in-eller utgående. Ingen signal hörs, varken lång eller kort. Det är totalt tyst i några minuter, sedan avbryts försöket att ringa.

Så här går det för mina bekanta:
Tre telefoner, alla av märket Samsung, från augusti 2020, oktober 2020 och mars 2020, fungerar inte alls med Lyca. Ringa/ta emot funkar inte. SMS fungerar oftast, men det har varit problem då och då, det har inte alltid fungerat med alla, och MMS har aldrig fungerat.

När man ringer får man oftast meddelandet: ”inte registrerad”. Märkligt nog kan de ringa från EN telefon till fasta nummer, liksom till vissa 070-nummer. När man ringer på en av telefonerna avbryts samtalet, men efter en kort stund kommer ett SMS om missat samtal.

Så är det inte med de andra telefonerna.

Slutsats: Allt är väldigt olika och inkonsekvent. Men feldebitera och ta betalt för ingenting är Lyca expert på. Man kommer aldrig få tillbaka sina pengar.

Lycamobile not giving me refund

I ported out from lycamobile to some other provider in September 2025 and i was still being charged (automatic card deduction) from lycamobile every month for 6 months. when i raised my concern, they mention the last transaction was in july 2025 and they are not ready to give a refund. once i raised this concern, the automatic deduction from my bank account has stopped. i do not know how. I have always used lucamobile official site for my payments.
