Do not use this company. The customer service is awful and extremely slow - unless they want to get money from you. They delay in paying out for as long as possible and they take ages to respond to emails.
I would not recommend to anyone.

We've used march Commercial for 3+ years for all our insurance requirements and customer service is absolutely shocking. I have to chase numerous times for any of my emails to be responded to. A very frustrating business to work with.

We have used Marsh exclusively over the past 10+ years on a range of insurance products. Their business model has changed over the last few years and rather than having a dedicated insurance broker you are now "looked after" by anyone in one of many teams spread over the country. What this means in reality is that we have had insurances lapse leaving us exposed, properties doubly insured different Marsh teams, insurance cover requested but not placed. Furthermore their prices are particularly uncompetitive having now looked elsewhere. Its a real shame but the distributed service model does not work and the customer service is now woeful. There doesnt appear to be a reason to use Marsh any longer.

Marsh McLennan rubbish volunteers were caught fly-tipping several bags of rubbish into our medical clinic bin at the front of our building via CCTV footage this morning at 10:48, 63 Mansell Street in E1.

I have been with Marsh Commercial for 7 years. I have rental houses, last year for 3 houses I paid £1,127.53 and this year for TWO houses it’s £1,026.09. They don't even sign the emails with a name. I wrote and asked why the sudden increase and there is no reason. All that came back was "I have looked at the market in depth for you and this is the best offer we were able to obtain from our panel".

Terrible. They do not address your questions, plus, they do not honour rebates. Business insurance with them is too expensive.

The worst experience ever dealing with one of your Brokers.
Incorrect information submitted to the insurance department. No one can give feedback where to log a dispute for the declined claim. I would like to name this brokers name who submitted this incorrect information. I would rate her a 0 on her bad Service.

The Most Frustrating Experience – Stay Away!
Dealing with Marsh McLennan Agency has been the most frustrating experience I’ve ever had with an insurance company. Their representatives are unresponsive, their processes are painfully slow, and their customer service is completely useless. It feels like they go out of their way to make things more difficult for their clients.

I was promised clear communication and efficient service—what I got instead was endless delays, vague responses, and constant runarounds. It’s almost impossible to get a straight answer, and when they finally do respond, it’s with more excuses than solutions.

If you value your time, sanity, and money, avoid this company at all costs. There are far more professional and reliable firms out there. I regret ever trusting them with my business, and I strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

After many years loyal custom Marsh doubled their insurance quote for our small business without proper explanation. Their commission amounted to £217 on the £110 cost of a simple Public Liability policy, 66%!
As our property management business had no difficulty in finding alternative quotes on digitized comparison platforms I cannot accept that manual placement of our risk was needed because of unique requirements- this was Marsh's sole justification of their hefty commission.
Either price gouging or an aversion to micro businesses it seems. Small businesses look elsewhere.

Have spent the last week emailing them in respect of fraudulent conduct on a claim and they refuse to reply despite their full knowledge of the urgency of the criminal issues.

Appalling service, had insurance with them for a few years and our policy was due for renewal, gave them a month in advance to sort me a quote for cover and they message me on the day it expires telling me the price has doubled, despite emailing them several times for an update, leaving my business with no cover. Not Good Dom, poor service

We are a small business who received a quote for insurance back March/April for £4300. We paid the premium. Then a few days later we were advised the premium had increased to around £11,000! Then a few days £12000+. Yes it is unbelievable. I sought legal advice as I had already paid the agreed premium. I was advised to return to Marsh to advise that this was their error and they should sought it financially. I sent an email advising them of my view. I received an email stating that the Management team were considering my issue and reviewing it. By the way that was April 24. Today I have, can you believe received an invoice from March for £12,300 again! No response to my email sent 4 months ago, when I was advised by JL it was being reviewed. The demand is for £12300 with no acknowledgement of me paying £4300 back in April. Please do not insure with these. Staff are not trained. They don't get back to you. If you don't want any more stress running a business I would advise don't go to Marsh. Policy ref 4225842

Absolutely rubbish service, We have our care home mini bus (which is actually a car) insured with them. one accident in 5 years it was our fault unfortunately. No replacement vehicle supplied while ours was being repaired. Had to hire one at a cost of £750 per week for three weeks then when we picked up our vehicle we had to pay the VAT on repairs so for a front bumper repair the total cost including vehicle hire was £4050 and this doesn't include the extra cost to cover the hire vehicle which was charged. the premium for insurance is £3000!! we are a care provider and are not allowed to be VAT registered yet the customer service person from March said "you have to pay the VAT because you are a business and can claim this back" and disregarded the fact that we are not allowed to be VAT registered. Marsh took over Blue fin Insurance who we used to use and were great However, Marsh seem to be total Rubbish stay clear!

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH MARSH , after they have bought out my prefered broker JLG , and ruined it !!!

Spent $1000's a year in insurance for 9 years without a claim until 20th Jan 2024 I lost $17,000 grand of equip to theft from a locked and insured situation , to have QBE DENY COVER AS MARSH HAD SUPPOSIVEDLY SENT ME AN OUTDATED PRODUCT DISCLOSURE STATEMENT SO NOW IM PURSUING CONSUMER AFFAIRS FOR INDEMINTY AGAINST MARSH . NOT TO MENTION HOW UNREPSONSIVE THEY HAVE BEEN , AND HAD TO BE FOLLOWED UP WITH GUSTO AND REGULARITY TO GET ANWSERS , BE IT UNTRUTHES .
NEVER , NEVER , NEVER USE MARSH !!!
