Refund rejected due to lack of unboxing video for a defective product

I purchased an Anker Soundcore Select 2S Bluetooth speaker from the official MediaMarkt Turkey website on June 22, 2026. The product was delivered on June 23, 2026.

After unboxing, I immediately noticed that the front metal grille of the speaker was visibly bent and deformed. The packaging was intact, so the damage does not appear to be caused by shipping.

On the same day, I submitted a return request and sent the product back within approximately 30 minutes of delivery.

However, my return was rejected on June 27, 2026, and the product was shipped back to me.

When I contacted customer support, I was told that the reason for rejection was the absence of:

an unboxing video, or
a damage report prepared with the courier at the time of delivery.

These requirements are not realistically applicable for standard consumers in Turkey and are not commonly practiced during regular deliveries.

As a result, I am disappointed that a well-known retailer like MediaMarkt is applying such strict conditions even for a clearly defective product.

I am requesting a full refund without additional conditions, as the item was clearly delivered in a damaged condition and the return was initiated immediately.

Kaotik bir şirket

Kaotik bir şirket, musteri hizmetlerinin adı var kendisinden eser yok, onlar da hiç bir şeyin farkında değiller, sürekli matbu yani ezber cevap veriyorlar. 2 adet TV için 120bin TL harcadım ürünlerin tesliminde tamamen işlerin içinde kaldılar anlaştığımız zaman değil kendi istedikleri zaman gönderdiler adreste kimse olmadığı için bana muazzam bir eziyet oldu

Verdiğimiz sipariş ayın 12’sinde teslim edilecekti bugün ayın 15’i ne takip edebiliyoruz ne kargo şirketiğine ulaşabiliyoruz mediamarkt ın müşteri hizmetlerine ulaştığımızda onların bize hiçbir şekilde yardım edemeyeceğini öğreniyoruz tavsiye daha da enteresan 3 iş günü daha bekleyin gelmezse tekrar arayın ve ben kendilerine üç gün sonra burada olmayacağımı soyledigim zaman evde sizi bulamayıp ulaşamadıklarında zaten geri dönecektir o zaman iade talebinde bulunabilirsiniz gibi bir cevap alıyorum yani ben boşu boşuna bir hafta burada bu eşyalarımı bekledim sonuç bu mu madem hızlı teslimat yapamayacaksınız neden böyle bir şeyi yazıyorsunuz ve bunu yapacağınızı söylüyorsunuz eğer böyle bir şeyi bilseydik zaten sizden almazdık bundan sonra da hiçbiriniz almayın hiçbiriniz MediaMarkt‘tan alışveriş yapmayın çünkü gerçekten rezil olursunuz bekler bekler durursunuz paranızla rezil olmak tam bunun karşılığı böyle büyük bir firmanın böyle kötü bir kargo şirketi ile çalışması bir rezilliktir !!! aynı zamanda bunun için hiçbir şey yapmıyor olması da kendi ayıplardır hala buradan alışveriş yapmak istiyorsanız tabii ki siz bilirsiniz iyi akşamlar

The company has a great variety of…

The company has a great variety of options and knowledgeable staff to help in electronics. I was looking for an air purifier and was told with the ups and downs of the available products, although more could be added to the comparison from the online inventory options the seller only mentioned the available which was a good experience and purchase.

Fake Insurance Solutions

I purchased a Samsung television from the MediaMarkt Türkiye Ankamall store and was sold an additional warranty. The TV's scanning speed is extremely slow, and the picture quality is terrible. I wanted to cancel the extra warranty. When I contacted customer service, they said I could cancel it. However, when I went to the store, they told me that canceling the extra warranty would void the discount I received. This was never mentioned when they sold it to me. It's clearly a trap, misleading customers. I will never choose MediaMarkt again.
