Was unable to get an NHS GP appointment despite calling at 8am every day that week. Found Medical express online and got same day appointment. Seen straight away for my UTI, given antibiotics and they even sent a sample off to check the bacteria. As this is a recurrent problem they have referred me to a urogynaecologist and I am so grateful to Dr Mo for sorting this out for me very speedy. I highly recommend.

MedicalExpress is a Very friendly, helpful and professional medical organisation! Their booking system is very easily to use for quickly making an appointment for medical testing/screening. All staff are warm and supportive, and always responsive promptly!

I have to complete yearly medicals for overseas work. Each year I book up with medical express clinic due to the efficient services, great staff and ease of getting an appointment. They always answer any questions I have, and I have referred several of my work colleagues who say the same about the services provided

Used this clinic twice. Very efficient, test results sent same day or next day. Called after I had my bloods drawn, to ask if they could add a test. They contacted the lab and arranged this for me. Very gentle phlebotomists.

Medical Express was able to coordinate an appointment at short notice for a medical exam. The waiting room and facilities were clean and welcoming, and the staff were very professional and polite. During the exam the doctor was knowledgeable and I felt confident in the quality of care provided. Overall, I am very happy with my experience and would definitely recommend Medical Express.

I suffer from recurrent UTI’s. I was able to get a same day appointment, had the appropriate investigations , prescribed antibiotics and referred to a specialist. Very pleased with the service and reasonably priced

I was on holiday in the UK when I felt ill. I was able to get an appointment at Medical Express Clinic very quickly. The doctor was thoughtful and calm, and gave me all her time and attention. She also ordered the right blood tests. It turned out I was extremely ill and thanks to the right diagnosis, I was able to get the treatment I needed. I highly recommend the service.

Terrible awful place providing test results that are simply wrong dangerous and in case very dangerously wrong .
DO NOT PUT YOUR health in their hands .
They are worse then no tests at all .
They should be closed down immediately
I would give anything to have not trusted them

Required a medical text for a new job, sent all the required tests I needed to the clinic in advanced. Turned up on the day and they had no idea what they were doing - the doctor then refused to give some of the tests that were required for my new job because he "didn't see the point". He then proceeded to do some checks without writing anything down. While I then insisted on a female doctor doing some of the tests (the female doctor was really nice), while we were waiting for her the doctor proceeded to moan unprofessionally about the government, weather, local coffee shops - you name it. When the female doctor came he didn't leave the room while I was examined despite a massive mirror opposite his desk which meant he could see everything. Horrendous experience, avoid at all costs.

You can see the whole team smiling on the website, well ... this is not the case in reality. Nice Receptionist and quick results, however, rude specialist, makes you feel stupid when asking questions and barely knows the answers. Some doubts on the usefulness of some tests as well. I don't recommend, please, look for cheaper/free alternatives in London. I sent an email to complain but had no answer, they absolutely don't care.

This is the dodgiest clinic I have ever been to! I booked an STI test for tuesday (26th of july 2022). I went there on the same day and I wanted to know more about the test. I spoke to one of their doctors and I literally spent 3 minutes with him. He did not even know how to answer my question. When I told them that I would like to proceed with my STI test anyway, one of their receptionists told me that I have to pay 150£ for the “consultation”. They never informed me of such a thing, it was not written anywhere! I obviously refused to pay as this doctor did not do absolutely anything to help me ,and I was not aware of their consultation fee. How can you charge people 150£ for spending 3 min with your doctors. I would like to highlight that the doctor in question did not even know the difference between Pep and Prep which is highly ridiculous considering he works in a sexual clinic. Afterwards, I decided to proceed with my test. One of their nurses took my blood sample and I was informed that I would receive the results via email later on today (26/07) or by the next day (latest possible). I waited 24h and I never received the result!! I was panicking!!! I called them several times and they told me that there was an issue with my sample which was referred to another lab as they could not determine whether I was positive or negative. When they told me this I nearly fainted!! I had to leave work earlier in order to run to another private clinic and get tested again as I was already assuming that I may be infected with the disease in question. I had my second test with better2know. I paid 135£ but my result was ready within hours.. The following day (28/07) my result from medical express was not ready yet, I kept calling them and they kept giving me stupid excuses like: oh we need to wait 24 h more to process your sample. They promised to give me my result by today (29/07) and this has not happened and I am sure it will not HAPPEN!! The mental damage that this clinic has caused me has shortened my life expectancy by 3 years. I called them twice today and they are not even answering my calls. I am sure that they will not refund me for this ridiculous service… I highly recommend clinics such as better2know or Dean Street(which is free). AVOID MEDICAL EXPRESS ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE MENTALLY VULNERABLE LIKE ME!!! I am 100% sure that they will never send me my result!!!! I feel deceived and frustrated!! They took my money and I did not receive anything in return!!! AVOID, AVOID, AVOID, AVOID

I contacted the Medical Express Clinic by phone on 29th March to book with a consultant. On the call, the receptionist only took my name and when I asked if they needed anything else, like a contact number, email or any details as to why I wanted the consultation they said no.
I tried to call back on the 30th & 31st March as I felt unconvinced that the booking had been confirmed but the phone rang out. I tried calling between 12-14 times throughout the day.
I sent an email on 1st April saying I was concerned about whether my booking was real, and they called me straight away and sent an email to confirm my consultation.
I went to attend my consultation on 4th April, and on arrival was told by the receptionist that the consultant had tested positive for covid and cancelled all appointments.
I asked why they hadn't called or emailed me and the reception team said they had contacted me and left a voicemail. I have no record of a missed call or voicemail.
When I asked why they hadn't tried an email, they said they didn't have my details. When I showed them that they had my email address, they just shrugged their shoulders.
The journey to the clinic has cost me £40 and whilst I appreciate that contracting covid can't be avoided, I feel the whole booking system and professionalism of the clinic needs reviewing.

I had a blood test and tried to get in touch to question the blood test report which was completely lacking in any detail.
They did not reply to my emails and never answered the phone.
This feels like a scam.

I had visited the clinic to see a private GP and he was so kind and caring. I will recommend this clinic for private GP and blood tests

I booked a herpes test advertised at £79.  When checking out (online), that price had miraculously risen to to £92.00 which I grudgingly accepted.  I attended the clinic, a doctor explained what he was testing for and how, performed the test, told me he was adding blood tests as well and sent me downstairs.  I was presented with a bill for £450!  This comprised of the original (already inflated) £92, an additional £150 consultation fee, two blood tests and a phlebotomy charge.

Nowhere on your website leading to the booking, or during my visit ahead of being presented the bill, was there mention of a £150 consultation charge.  At no time during my visit was I offered the "option" of a consultation or not, and I am still unclear what constitutes the consultation as opposed to the performance and explanation of the swab test.

When booking the blood tests, the doctor did not tell me they were "extra", although I subsequently can see a charge specified on the website and understand that it also reasonable for there to be a charge.  However, I was not counselled, advised or given the opportunity to really question the purpose of these tests.  Subsequent research shows that the IgM test (charge £79) is all but completely useless and totally unnecessary when an IgG test is also performed.  Can you explain why this test was "recommended" and performed at that cost given that the swab and IgG test were also performed. What was the value to me as a patient (rather than to you as a business) in performing that test?

The results of those blood tests have actually come through and there is no information to me as to what those results actually mean or any interpretation.

I feel that the practises used at Medical Express are intended to maximise revenue for the company, selling tests without a considered and medically appropriate reason.  The advertising and information flow that led from £79 to £450 was completely inadequate and falsely advertised.

Although a small discount was offered in clinic after I vehemently complained, I have twice written to the company with the above complaint and received no reply.

PCR results and certificate back within 24hr. Lovely clinic with great staff!

Did my PCR test here this week at 9.15 on Wednesday 17th Feb and got my result in under 12 hours time. Fab service and for a 12 hour result basically half the price of the other test places. Cheers Medical express!
