Ingen bra upplevelse, matchningarna kändes inte alls som de var vad jag sökte, men hittade till slut en jag bokade och kändes os. Sen klaga terapeuten på att meela tog sån hög avgift att hon inte kunde ge mig ett pris hon hade på sin egen hemsida för att fortsätta

My experience with Meela was mixed.

The first therapist I was matched with felt quite distant and the interaction wasn’t a good fit. Unfortunately, I then had to cancel a session due to illness and gave 24 hours’ notice. Although this was within Meela’s cancellation window, the therapist had their own 48-hour policy and refused to refund me or even reschedule the session.

Meela did allow the payment to be used as credit towards another therapist, so I went back through the matching process and booked a session with my highest match. However, during an introductory call, the therapist explained that her main specialism was addiction therapy, which wasn’t what I needed. She was also unsure why we had been matched and suggested I look for someone else.

Throughout all of this, Meela’s support team were kind, responsive, and understanding, and they did eventually issue a refund when I requested one.

Overall, the customer support was excellent, but there are clear improvements needed to the matching system and to ensure that therapists’ individual policies are aligned with Meela’s platform policies.

I have requested a slot for this Saturday the 14th February however I have not yet received an email to confirm my request and also the therapist I choose has not contacted me neither.I have provided with my card details so I am quite worried that my money will be taken.It does not make sense not to have at least an email to acknowledge my request.

Värdelös matchning dels från psykologens sida med ingående och meningslös noggrannhet, från det andra perspektivet förstår man inte heller hur matchningen är gjord. Ingen av de psykologer jag försökt boka tid med har tid de tider de själva fyllt i att de har tid. Mycket felmeddelanden, text som inte hör till och saker man behöver kontakta kundtjänst för.

I love my therapist, Monica. She is fantastic in every way and really matches what I was searching for, as I wanted someone experienced in leadership, but also stress, trauma and relationships. Thank you Meela for a great match!

Took me 30 minutes to fill in and then gave me terrible choices

Unlike BetterHelp, they seem genuinely invested in ethical practices, focusing on connecting clients with the right therapist rather than maximising profits. I highly recommend this platform for anyone seeking a trustworthy and well-matched therapeutic experience.

Surprised Meela has no Trustpilot reviews so I thought I would write a quick one. I would recommend. The platform is free to use and matched me to quite a few therapists who would be a good match for me. The one I chose from the list provided has been the best therapist I have been paired with (I have had therapy with 5 therapists over 6 years, three of those with Betterhelp). It seems much more ethical than Betterhelp as you pay the fee to the therapist directly (the fee is decided by the individual therapist). I feel I have genuinely saved so much time trying to find the right therapist due to the infomation you provide at the beginning with Meela. I would recommend if you haven't managed to find a therapist through other means.
