I phoned with an enquirey about mobility scooters on Monday 16th Mmachines at my home on Wednesday 23rd arch spoke to very chap called Anthony who gave me very good assistants and helpful information and arranged a trial of 2 different machines on Wednesday 25th. On Thursday 19th I received a phone call from a lady to do with Mendip who said I would have to a £70 fee for the trial. Which I maintain I should have been told in my intial conversation with Anthony and not 3 days later as an after thought. As I have owned businesses in the past I considered this to be very bad business practice and it jepadised what would almost certainley a £2500 sales for a very greedy £70 transportation fee. And having spoken to other suppliers since none have demanded a fee for an at home accessment and trial. So I will not be using again and will recommend them.

I spoke over the phone to Tash she was So helpful and patient guiding me through their web page and second hand scooters Because of her help I was able to order my scooter. It was delivered by Ian right on time. I’m very pleased with overall experience with them

Home service is excellent. However, beware if you are told that a part needs to be ordered and procured from a 3rd party. A part on my scooter has broken and rendered the machine inoperable. This is dire, since I am restricted to using a Zimmer and can mobilise for only 5 - 10 yards before I have to stop, due to pain and immobility. The scooter wa taken away last week and the faulty part was ordered. However, Mendip Mobility are still waiting for the replacement part, with no indication of when it may be expected and, therefore, of when I may be mobile again. I have already had to re-schedule two banking and two medical appointments and the whole situation is intolerable. I cannot rate the spares supplier (I don't know who they are) so Mendip Mobility gets the flak, which is as it should be - I have paid them up-front, so have a contract with them. Appalling standard of service, redeemed only by the quality of home service.

(using an alias for privacy reasons) Outstanding, warm and friendly service from one of the most brilliantly funny and knowledgeable blokes I've ever met. I'm autistic and have social anxiety but he made me feel completely at ease throughout. It was really interesting watching him replace my transaxle, test my batteries etc while explaining how various parts of my scooter and its mechanisms work. Cannot express my relief and gratitude to him getting my scooter going again as I live alone and don't have a car.

Mendip mobility fixed my scooter up really well. Fast friendly service and they keep you informed at all times. I am very pleased with the service I received. They collected my scooter and brought it back fixed up. Reasonable prices too. I Highly recommended this company.

This company is brilliant on service. Bought two electrically operated chairs for our lounge due to back problems. Tested them in Street store for suitability. Both chairs were then hand built and delivered on schedule. The gentlemen who delivered them were very pleasant and helpful and ensured they were placed where we wanted them and made sure they worked and we were satisfied, before they left. We have also bought two scooters from this company. Mendip Mobility will not try and sell you something you don't need and give impartial advice. Highly recommended.

I've just bought my first mobility scooter from this place, the staff were patient, understanding and welcoming.

If you are thinking about a mobility scooter be it new or second-hand then give them a go, you won't be disappointed.
