Spoke to Jack today with helping me set up my phone system, highly recommend

Spoke with Jack earlier today he was incredibly helpful with setting everything up for me, very pleased.

Alex was an absolute legend as always whenever I have a problem it’s sorted such a really helpful Person A real asset to the organisation Would highly recommend.

Liam helped me today with an issue. He was quick efficient and understanding of the problem.

We have only been in contact with meraki for a week now and already we have noticed the difference compared to our old providers. Liam in accounts was a massive help yesterday supporting us with his knowledge and experience on a conference call ensuring we get the treatment a loyal customer deserves.

I am MD for Windowtec Ltd and happily entered into a contract in November 2022 for 3 lines and all local and mobile calls included for £35 per month.
Was more than happy with that but almost immediately things changed suddenly we had a finance agreement with Propel Finance for £23 +vat per month for part of it plus there was a £180 finance charge Meraki contract said they would cover but despite invoicing Meraki and sending several emails reminders Meraki have not paid us in over 15 months!!
The lines at £12 +vat supplied by Meraki who also charge for any non geographical ie 0800 nr call charges. You will see straight away it's gone from £35 to £35 + vat.
For the first 7 months everything was hunkey dorey but then it started. With our call charge national and mobile included and upto that point the only extra costs in 7 months was £0.47p(47pence only) call costs start at over £5.24+vat with no billing analysis progressively getting more each month. Then in July 2023 Meraki sent a spurious email offering a 30 day free trial of Safe Web service that following the 30 days frre they would charge @£7.49 +vat.
No opt in they just added it to the bill. This safecweb charge went to £10.99+vat from the 1st November 2023. Again no communication from a communication company.
I have literally just sent them an email demand for repayment of the Safe Web service charge£101.89 and the call charges of £77.18 unless they can issue a detailed call log showing these costs.
In my email I say they employ underhand and deceptive methods to extort money from companies by charging for services not required or supplied

This company has very bad service they’ve been cutting off the line for 2 months and they keep charging me on my direct debit and when I stop the direct debit they sent me another bill for 2 months it should be £23 but they charge me £100 because of the late fee they have said I told them I cancelled the direct debit because I didn’t get the service which is I was asking then to add a voicemail but they didn’t so I cancelled the direct debit ridiculous service a ridiculous customer service ridiculous manager as well

Horrendous experience with a blatant pressure selling outfit with no interest in customer satisfaction only nailing you to bogus agreements regardless of need.

After years with only 4mbps broadband in my business I was notified by City Fibre that I could get 160mbps so requested the callback. Got a call within a cpl of hours from Meraki Communications with all the vibe of a tv comedy telesales show. Very clearly explained that we urgently needed fast broadband as we were opening a workspace. After a convo with the sales girl we were offered broadband and phone for the same we’ve been paying our current provider and installation within a cpl of weeks so clearly thought great and went ahead, what’s not to love.

Over the next week we couldn’t get away from the calls from one dept or another, pushing and pushing us to set up the phone and ‘activate’ licences but thought nothing of it, we were in a hurry.

Installation date came and the engineer turned up without any instructions for us to do anything to facilitate what they were doing however it turned out that we needed to give them access to a different cabinet than the one all other telecom engineers have needed and we had to get a key from the managing agents which took a week or so.

I should point out that by this time we’d been told to purchase a ‘call fwd’ service from our existing supplier to divert our perfectly working phone line to another number they supplied us while they ported our number to their system. Only at this point did we start realising that things were not as we expected, the phone they sent us was not actually a phone connected to a traditional phone line it was just a WiFi phone that relied on a working broadband service, so we had to connect the phone they wanted us to start paying for immediately to our existing WiFi service to make it work, pay zen internet to divert the calls and provide the WiFi for them and pay Meraki for 7 years for the privilege. Odd to say the least but only afterwards did it dawn on us what a scam this actually was.

Anyway, we got the key and then started calling and emailing Meraki to rearrange the installation only now, because we’d ticked the boxes and ‘activated their licenses’ we couldn’t get a response so weeks went by before we got a new installation date and now know why.

When the engineers finally came again, almost two months after originally ordering broadband, they spent an hour drilling holes in my premises before telling us that actually we couldn’t even get broadband without further engineering works in the street outside for which they could give us no idea of a completion date. So no broadband.

When we went back to Meraki expecting some concern or assistance, all they could do was jump straight into telling us that we had activated their phone service so we’re committed for 7 years and would do nothing about it. When we explained that without us providing the broadband from our original snail speed supplier their phone, which didn’t work well anyway as it was a slave to the broadband connection, would not work, they couldn’t be less bothered and when I asked for the complaints dept it turned out to be the same lovely character I was dealing with over the failure to provide the one service we’d actually tried to buy from them !

You couldn’t make it up !

So anyway, we’re now in a saga with the ombudsman and dealing with recovery action from Meraki and their ‘partner’ lease co who we’d signed up to for the phone equipment before knowing what it actually was and at the end of it all still only have the 4mbps broadband we’ve had for the last 10 years already.

Meraki are the kind of co you’ll see on a consumer tv show with warnings, save yourself some pain and time trying to deal with them and stick with a traditional supplier like BT or Virgin, better the devils you know !

We use meraki for our company telecoms, we found the day to day use very good with no faults. Making changes to our service such as outgoing answer phone etc is always actioned very quickly by the meraki team.
Overall the staff are pleasant, knowledgeable, are always willing to go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction.

Great company to deal with. Really took time to listen to my needs and understand my situation. Patient and supportive throughout even after I’d signed my contract. Great at handholding me through the set up process. No pushy sales, Cassie was an absolute star. Likewise the technical support was super. A breath of fresh air in the world of the digital/telecomm industry . Highly recommend.

Jack Stickler was amazing and helpful in getting us set up. Definitely would recommend.
