The team at Barnsley branch are exceptional in everything they do. They have helped, guided and supported us through our house sale after having encountered numerous problems from solicitors they were very supportive and their communication skills went over and above the norm. THANK YOU TO YOU ALL!!

I mostly dealt with Chloe throughout my daughter’s first purchase. From arranging the initial viewings to handing over the keys, Chloe was communicative and helpful at all times, especially when solicitors weren’t. She struck a perfect balance between acting for the Vendor and reassuring the Buyers. A fine example of a reputable estate agent.

I placed a offer on a property last week and I didn’t receive a confirmation email of offer to vender. AND this was “4 days before another person placed there offer”
I’ve placed offers with other agents over the passed 6 months on other property’s with movetomove and ELR and I received emails of offer to vender straight away from both agents. It’s something esatate agent have to do to prove offer has been sent to the seller. Ive also been passed onto another lady in the office who I think is playing with peoples offers to get more commission before even ringing the vender. I could be wrong but if no email confirmation offer to vender has been sent to the new wanting to buy purchaser then what are we supposed to think. No information either unless I call that’s not good.
I remember placing a offer on a property about 8 years ago with merry weathers And I’ve still not heard anything back from that either. Good job the agent that sold me my home Barton’s kept me up to date and sent me confirmation offer email or I’d be still living with parents.

Great service, and I was kept upto date every step of the way by Josh at Merryweathers. They also put me onto Fantastic solicitors who were very proactive.

Out of all we paid to move Merryweathers are the only ones that deserved their fee. It’s the second time we’ve used them and they have been outstanding both times. From a new tenant perspective, our whole experience has been littered with disappointment. In a few short weeks, we have waited 30 minutes for a pre-arranged viewing which had been forgotten, presented with scans of scans of official documents, received an unobservant inventory of the property and met with disinterest when we presented an issue, then finally discovered an error that had been made changing the energy supplier by mistake. Here's to hoping things go more smoothly...

From the moment Nicola walked into my late mum's property, to value it, she was professional. friendly and understood that it was hard for us. She had empathy and explained everything we needed to know, to be able to market and sell her home. We decided to use the on line scheme, called Netmyhouse, which was excellent, and two buyers were found very quickly, unfortunately, as there was an issue with the lease, and both sales fell through. But Chloe was amazing and resilient throughout.
Hilary was now our main contact, through the office in Barnsley, and again two buyers were found, almost straight away. We accepted an offer from an elderly lady, and got right up to exchange, but through her ill health, we lost the sale for a third time. We were beginning to lose hope, and thought we were never going to sell.
But Hilary was very helpful, and suggested we contact the other interested party again, to ask if they may still be interested. and they were. Through her hard work and determination, we finally exchanged and legally completed last Friday.
So, a massive Thank You to all the team in Barnsley, they are amazing and credit to the company. It has been my pleasure doing business with Nicola, Chloe and Hilary.

I used the Sheffield Branch to sell my house and was very impressed from start to finish. Everybody was extremely helpful especially the branch manager Josh. When I sent a question round to various sellers on rightmove about my house he was the only one that took the time to contact me and respond.
