I totally agree with the post from Mary Mack. Merseyside police are an absolute disgrace. They have treated my vulnerable son with mental health issues a similar way to hers. Walking to a support group stopped and arrested for 'looking in his bag'. Held for 18 hours, his Home raised, and dumped in Liverpool at 2:50am to get back to St Helens. He was just walking to group but in the wrong place at the wrong. We have made numerous contact but cant get a meaningful answer as to the intensity of his treatment. this is despite the Police officers not declaring a large amount of money taken from the search. I also can't believe the way my Son is being treated he is a timed White easy target! As Mary said my Son is also being treated like some major criminal. Mob handed tactics, bullying and vitimisation on troubled person, shame on all of them, I also feel he will probably never recover, from this incident. I contacted them to say I was concerned for his mental health and wellbeing/safety but they do not care at all. Even before charges they have notified the council and 2 officers turned up with the council representatives today. My Son was not aware so no support. I have asked Serena Kennedy to contact me in 2 requests to discuss the ongoing actions of here officers but I doubt this request has even been passed on. Cant explain how disgusted I am in Merseyside Police, Serena I hope you read this and contact me. You obviously have a serious imbedded issue.

Being a victim of a "Scam" car sale in August last year,I called the 111 line to report 2 criminal offences 1 of deception,the other being fraud,on being connected I heard an automated message from the Chief Constable directing certain crime reports to be made to Action Fraud,I then spoke to an officer who advised they no longer take reports !!!, what a totally unacceptable situation of policing here in Liverpool,here in this city,the police stations have closed,the Police no longer take reports,the criminals are laughing their socks off !!!, 2 major Police establishment have been built in Speke but they`re closed to the public !!!,this is no way to to provide policing anywhere.

Merseyside police are a disgrace.how they treated my vulnerable son with mental health issues is beyond cruel.he never hurt anyone and was treated worse than a serial killer.mob handed tactics on a sick man.shame on them.he will probably never recover.

Was impressed by not being harassed or rushed whilst viewing.The sales rep Nick B was very helpful and walked us through the process answering all questions effectively.

Over the years I have had cause to ask Merseyside Police for help and on occasion (traffic offences) been on the receiving end.
I can honestly say in every instance I have received exemplary help, advice & treatment.
Top assistance when having issues with (as James May puts it) "miscreants" from a break in to anti social druggies.
With the reduction in officers and constant (inevitably negative) dissection of their every word & action I still feel safe & supported.
I'd like to name names/departments but I'm sure it wouldn't be appropriate.
