I would like to express my concern about the tone of the letter, which came across as unnecessarily aggressive and threatening. I urge your team to reconsider the language used in such communications, as it could be perceived as accusatory and unconstructive, especially when addressing potentially innocent individuals.

I had an absolutely distressing experience with Mel Higgs, who did not provide any supporting evidence, such as CCTV footage, witness statements, or photographs, directly implicating me in dumping my rubbish bin in a different location. Without such evidence, the case remains circumstantial. I can confidently assure you and your team that I did not dispose of the bin bag found at the mentioned location.

As mentioned previously, I actively report fly-tipping incidents to the local authority and have been informed in the past about measures taken, such as installing CCTV cameras on top of the block and hiring a team to regularly check the area. I have provided evidence of my actions by emailing Moat with images and my findings.

I was falsely accused of a crime I did not commit. However, with her aggressive approach, Mel Higgs did not carry out any further investigation and did not provide any additional evidence I requested. I am absolutely disgusted with their warning for something I did not do, and they can't prove that I did. I wish I could take this further and take them to court, but after seeing all the reviews for Merton Council, I hope someone higher up will start an internal investigation into how work is being done.

I am writing to express my outrage regarding the atrocious customer service at Merton Council. The staff are not only rude but exhibit hostility and a blatant lack of respect towards residents. Their unprofessional conduct is shocking! it is evident that they possess no manners whatsoever.

Replace the current staff with individuals who are respectful and properly educated.

This is unacceptable.

I have called the council planning department many times on differnet days, during the specified hours 1pm to 3pm and the phones are not manned.

Fix my street, what a waste of time. 3 times reported issue of the same problem. 3 times comes back as fixed. 3 times they've done absolutely nothing.

I called planning department many times. They are supposed to be open between 1 and 3pm and one reaches them by pressing 5. Every time I call them, they do not answer the phone. On occasions, the phone did ring and I was number 3 on the queue. It did get to number 2 after 30 minutes, and I was in that queue till 3pm. Then, at 3.01pm a lovely voice said to me : Goodbye, call us again when we are open the next working day. The next working day, I called them. The same scenario again, except that I was number one in the queue, from 2.15pm till 3.01. Again, I was sent packing with the same lovely voice saying to me goodbye. Absolutely no joy. These people are getting paid a fortune, and not delivering the service they are being paid for. They are hardly at the office and it looks like they cover up for each other their absenteism, while they are ripping off the tax payers.

"Our records show that you did purchase a cashless session for your vehicle but that the payment was made at 14:42, which was after the PCN had already been issued. The PCN was issued at 14:38. I have just received my new council tax bill. I am a single parent with two children who live at home. I receive a 25% discount for being the only adult and my bill has now gone up £23 per month more than last year. Merton speaks about all the services it provides yet it has cut services. I see very little work being carried out around in the Morden area. The focus is definitely on Wimbledon and the Village! Refuse collection has been cut, and the condition of the roads is a disgrace. I can't remember the last time the grass verges were cut and trees pruned. The only time they prune a tree is if you ring up to complain because the branches are scratching your vehicle! With the cost of living as it is, a rise of £23 a month for me is extortionate. Merton council certainly needs to take a good look at itself because it is failing its residents.

Our blue recycling bin wasn’t emptied on Good Friday. I reported this on the web site around 5.30 pm. The rubbish was collected by 9.00 am on Easter Saturday morning. Excellent service thank you.

Money grabbing and uncaring council. Have a heart for god's sake. What is wrong with you people?
Got a parking fine, paid for a ticket less than 10min after arriving using ringGo and the poster showed that I would have got 20min free if I had a ticket from the machine. From the evidence they know that I had full intention to pay as I had actually paid, so I expected them to have a heart and waive it, but they don't care as long as they get their money.

All PCO Drivers. Stop Helping people during the School time. If you help you will get punish.If you are driving Uber or any other apps. Stop helping people during the school time even parents with kids. Why if you go anywhere in this Merton Council (all are same) They behind your money. They do not care about people, you complain nothing happens , they come with an excuse and complain is closed .

Proper sham of a council. If your rich and want something done just ask the official your meeting with for a coffee and whatever your needs job done as long as you understand his/her coffee. If you make a complaint to the council they dont give a damn and they get the person in the council you made complaint about to reply to you. They also delay complaints and come up with a excuse thats its too late.
Now best advice is avoid living in merton and dealing with the Merton council, councillors, the merton police and the MP. They all in on it and carry on like the are doing something. Only reason it survives because Wimbledon Tennis falls in its boundary. The most blatant corrupt council I ever seen. Can’t wait for the gerrymandering to start once the MP gone. Also they should just close the council down. I hope neighbouring Wandsworth Council read this because I am trying to get a complaint escalated for past 14 years and all I get is a sorry letter and then after a certain time an excuse like oh time has passed , too late to complain. Fraud council. Also all merton residents walk on the road and not on the pavement, reason why? Dog faeces everywhere apart from the posh areas of merton. Class.

The children’s social care team are full of bullies. They hate new staff and they find a way to make their lives a misery. I’ve seen with my own eyes how badly treated 5 social workers have been treated. This is not acceptable.

In terms of how they were with families - oppressive and discriminatory practice. They operate by putting fear in families and Denying them their rights

I have been trying for several months to get through to the Arboricultural or “Tree” Department. The telephone rings and rings but is never answered. On one only occasion there was an answermachine on, I left a message asking them to call me - they didn’t. What is going in? Has this Department closed? We are in a Climate Crisis and trees are important. Where are the staff? I pay Merton Council a lot of taxes for what? Please can someone at the Council investigate what is going in this Department. If I don’t get an answer I will be taking my complaint higher. This situation is simply totally unacceptable.

The worst for traffic wardens.Never around when cars causing obstructions.Pray on state school cars but avoid private schools.Good one for the newspapers.

Complaints ignored.

There was a missed rubbish collection on the 4th of august because a truck parked in fron of the bins cus there is a construction going on next door so i let them know and on monday they took all the rubbish. Thank you.

This so called Council are totally useless. I reported a extreme fire hazard, which will endanger life due to fly-tipping in Hawthorne Avenue Mitcham. But Merton council doesn't seem to care.
