We waited more than 3 months for them to fix my 91-year-old mother's gas fire. Initially waited weeks for parts to come. They eventually came back and discovered the parts the supplier had sent didn't fit, We then waited more weeks with nothing happening so far as we could see. They did not proactively keep us informed - left us dangling. When I contacted them for updates the answer was 'we're waiting for the parts' and they were frequently offhand and borderline rude in their communication. They finally got it sorted but are now being rude and combative again because I dared to criticise them in this review. Their customer communication is terrible and they have a bad attitude. They claim my mother was delighted with the outcome - she wasn't. She was exhausted, frustrated and anxious from the whole experience.

Have nothing but good things to say about Metro. We always use them for both gas and electric. Great service

I live in a big, old house. I have used Metro Eco for most of my electrical, gas and plumbing work for many years. Their first job was to put right some dodgy work from another plumber. That was about 10 years ago. Since then they have performed the annual service on my central heating and unvented hot water cylinder, installed an electricity supply to my garage, fitted several new radiators and last year installed a new boiler.

The quality of their work is always excellent and they always turn up when expected - apart from one occasion when the scheduled engineer was ill. On that occasion I got a phone call before the appointment time and an alternative was quickly arranged.

I have called them a couple of times in emergencies and on both occasions they were very helpful - coming out reasonably quickly but also spending time on the phone giving advice on what to do until the engineer arrived.

Excellent service, attention to detail and clear and concise commentary on work being done. Very clean and tidy as well.

Had a new car charger installed. The guy who came did a fantastic job despite the weather and I could not be more pleased.

I had a very professional response to my query about a new boiler. The engineer who installed it was also very professional and friendly. One of their electricians explained to me how the hive stat operated. Would definitely recommend Metro eco to anyone.

Unfortunately needed a new boiler. Fortunately found these guys on Google.
Top notch service from everyone. Honest and trustworthy, the price they quoted was the price I paid.
Fitted and working in 2 days, no mess either as they take everything away and clean up after themselves, plus all work is checked to high standards.
Would not hesitate to recommend, will not use anyone else now.

Needing a Landlord test certificate for both Gas and Electric in one of our rental properties and had heard good things about MetroEco and the good things heard were definitely deserved.
