Staff very welcoming and knowledgeable about the products they sell. So lovely to be able to go into a store and see the goods before buying...long may this continue.

Very useful shop with wide range of products, and excellent customer service... staff are notably and proactively friendly, welcoming and helpful. I bought a jacket (a longer length fleece which I've hoping to find for a while), and was able to try several on in the changing room to find the perfect size while the shop staff kindly held on to other sizes for me before I made my final choice. They also offered a choice of useful/ingenious half-price items as I had purchased something, so I bought a waterproof rucksack cover too. Very pleased with my purchases.

Bought an Osprey Talon rucksack for a great price. Richard, as always, was very helpful and knowledgeable. A good experience all round.

The very helpful and patient staff member Chantelle, who helped me with selecting the correct walking and wellington boots whilst trying on multiple sizes.

Visited Millets in Ipswich today. Had a brilliant successful journey and purchased a lovely coat for my daughter-in-law. Thank you Richard for your patience and kindness and professionalism.

I had a request from my Son for a certain type of coat and asked "Richard" who served me. He was very helpful and found a suitable one.
He then advised me on gloves to go with this and told me about an offer where I could get 2 pairs with one half price, without me feeling pressured to buy. This was useful as I needed to get a couple of pairs. Really pleased with purchase, thankyou!

Well-stocked shop with knowledgeable and helpful staff. Buying online is fine but for clothing it’s really important to be able to check the quality and try garments on. The store has items from the cheap end of the range to more expensive brands.

They had a great range of women's trousers and ALL the sizes! Staff were very helpful and cheerful makes a big difference on a grey and rainy day.

I needed a new fleece, so went into your store yesterday . Richard served me, he was very polite and extremely helpful as I couldn’t find anything I liked in the shop but he went into the store room and found just what I was looking for.

Looked online for a pair of waterproof walking boots & having seen some on Millets site I visited my local store. They had the pair I was interested in & in my size so tried them on & purchased. They were on sale at half price so I was very happy with that & the service was friendly & helpful (eg I was advised to try them on at home with thicker socks to ensure the fit was good as providing they weren't used outdoors I could return them within 28 days). Really easy buying experience - good service, a good price & a local store to try them on (preferable to buying online & possibly end up having to return because of size issues).

I visited the Ipswich store recently as I needed some hiking boots. I was assisted by Richard (the store manager) who was very attentive and knowledgeable, helping me make my purchase.

I needed some replacement rubber tips for my walking poles and called into Millets branch in Ipswich Town Centre. The staff were really helpful in helping me locate these small items among their large range of goods for sale... and made sure I got the right size for my own pole.
Great personal service and I will certainly return.

We were helped by a lovely lady called Jess. She was so helpful and knowledgable and not pushy at all in trying to make a sale. She offered to write the information down so we could have time to think and then come back. She helped explain the pros and cons of the items we were looking at to help us make the right choice. If you go to this Millets ask for Jess!!!!!!

Having bought a pair of excellent walking boots nearly three years ago and which still are serving me wonderfully, I wanted to add a pair of walking shoes. Upstairs there is a wide range of makes & styles & I needed an expert to pilot me through to make the best choice. Richard did exactly that. He listened to what I wanted & what use I would give them, & then offered three options explaining their different qualities & benefits. He brought two out to try & I knew quickly which I wanted. Expensive though they might be they were also subject to 15% sale discount. I was sold, especially when Richard said that if I tested them indoors for a few days & was not entirely satisfied I could bring them back for a refund. I left the shop happy & have since been delighted with the new shoes. Thank you Richard, Thank you Millets!

I wanted to buy some water-repellent trousers and was guided very well by Richard at the Ipswich store so I could find exactly what I was looking for. I hope this friendly service in the shop continues.
