From Lynds Hills - Simon was exceptional, he went the extra mile as I was suffering from Lymphodema. My feet were badly swollen and Simon found a pair of Peter Storm sandals to fit me. Simon was very, patient, helpful and knowledgeable. Thankyou.

The staff are always friendly and helpful. I bought some new hiking boots and was served by Phoenix. She gave me very good advice and made sure that the fit was absolutely right. Phoenix was very knowledgeable, and also gave me a good tip on correctly adjusting walking poles. We wish Phoenix all the best as she goes off to university.

I was looking to buy hiking boots for myself and my daughter today. We spent a long time trying on the different brands and sizes. Andy was very knowledgable about all the boots and patiently helped us to find the right ones. It was lovely to have great customer service.

I always have great experiences at the Uckfield Millets, but today the service was exceptional. I struggle with ongoing foot issues and needed new hiking shoes. Rocco, a member of staff, took the time to really listen, recommend the right options, and even showed me how to lace the shoes differently to reduce pressure. Thanks to him I left with the perfect pair and a lot more confidence.

I went into the shop to get some walking shoes for my holiday in Dorset. Phoenix was very knowledgeable and helpful. I was also directed to the different types of socks. Both walking boots and socks worked out perfectly when we walked along the cliffs, pebble and sand beaches.

I needed some new walking boots and Isaac was very helpful with choosing the right boots for my requirements. He was polite and knowledgeable.

I was looking for a pair of walking shoes and was superbly advised by Phoenix on the shoe size to select for the shoes I had chosen. It was a size bigger than I would usually take, but Phoenix assures me that they will be comfortable especially once the feet get warm. Sadly Uckfield will be losing Phoenix to university, hopefully one of Millets sister shops will be able to offer her employment.

All three members of staff in the Uckfield branch were so helpful. Was returning a pair of walking boots for the second time and towards the end of the guarantee , so feeling rather uncomfortable about returning them . But there was no need , very happy to help and exchanged my boots even though I had misplaced my second receipt!

Phœnix was extremely helpful and offer practical advise. Her manner was courteous and friendly.

Review more about staff - namely Simon - with regard to boot fitting- went in randomly as needed new boots - he was super knowledgeable & helpful & I am very pleased with my first pair of boots - went back - specifically when Simon was available for a second pair of every day boots - spot on ! thanks

Simon and the team were amazing. With my desert trek 3 months away, Simon provided invaluable information and advice from footwear to water bottles, breathable hats to sun protection and cooling techniques. You should get him to give a talk at the Adventure Travel Show. Amazing service and a really down to earth and friendly guy!

A great experience today with Rocco, buying walking boots and other walking gear. Rocco was super-friendly, really listened well to what I wanted, and bothered to get a footwear specialist colleague in, to check I'd got the right choice and size of walking boots. Very happy with the highly professional, personalised and relevant service I received. Also, good technical advice on the other clothing. Extra pleased that was able to get some great prices in the current sale. Thanks very much!
