Pricey but worth it so far.
This is the only company I could find that did the staggared single beds and inbuilt storage, so the price wasn't surprising, despite being high. The actual fitting together process took 2 days (with a sleep inbetween on the floor) and was very exhausting. We still havent finished the doors and drawers, as we can't face more. There is an option for fitters to come, but we couldn't afford more than the price of the bed. Overall, it is as sold. Incredibly heavy (which makes it super sturdy) but prone to chips if placed awkwardly on the floor while building. Fits sloped roofs amazingly, with ample headroom for both beds. Bottom bunk has bedside cabinet built in, top bunk has shelves. There is wasted space under the bedside cabinet, which we were a bit upset about, but it may be structural? So we didn't adjust it. We were thinking of putting a few hinges on it and storing school bags or wool in there. (The open hole is against a wall)
All in all, not a bad purchase. It has only been a few months though, and the review emails have been quite pushy, so we will see if it holds out for long.

I am so happy with the excellent…
I am so happy with the excellent service from Millie & Jones from start to finish. Their website is easy to navigate and I could add the mattresses, I required for the Axton daybed, easily to my basket. There was no need to search endlessly, which I particularly liked. I spoke with Jess, on the phone, a few times regarding practicalities of the delivery. Wonderful to get through to a human straight away, bonus! She was brilliant, friendly and knowledgeable. Jess is an asset to the company.
The Axton bed is solid and looks fab in our spare room. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Millie & Jones. Many thanks

Check the colour you order as it may not be what you want!
The bed it self is good quality and the chap who installed it for me was fantastic. However, the colour difference was shocking. I ordered what what shown in the pictures as a lovely dusky peach/pink. Yet I have been given a horrid HOT PINK style which was what I wanted to avoid. I understand some photos will not always be 100% due to lighting etc but this was a HUGE difference.

This is actually the first time we’ve had feedback like this on this particular bed. It is a newer model, so we’ve requested the pink swatch samples directly from our supplier so that we can review the colour accuracy online ourselves. If there is indeed a significant difference, we’ll be updating our imagery to make sure future customers have a clearer picture of what to expect.

Really professional customer service
Really professional customer service, glitch in delivery, sorted very quickly. I’m a bit jaded with other companies and delivery people but Millie and jones were there on the phone, understanding and fast to find ansolution. Bed is also fabulous I might add.

Trundle bed review
I bought a new bed for my daughter and she absolutely loves it. There is room for storage and to display her teddies. But the best part of the bed for her is being able to have a friend over for a sleep over, with the easy to move and store trundle bed. The ease of ordering and delivery was very good. The bed was easy to assemble and did not take too long to put together, which I did on my own (I would recommend help if you have it, at certain stages). The bed looks great in my daughters new bedroom and I would recommend Millie and Jones.

I recently received my new bed and I’m over the moon with it. Always find it hard buying online but it was exactly as it said it was, the delivery was spot on and was put exactly where I wanted it in the house and took me about 2 hours to build it on my own. Would happily buy again if I need another bed.

Delivery
Delivery due on bank Holiday Monday in the afternoon, got text saying delivery would be with us in 30 mintues early in the morning, which wasn't expecting.
The delivery itself all the boxes and mattress was delivered outside and because of this has broken our light outside and no help with delivery inside to the house.

Self assembly bed that is left wanting...
My daughter needed a new ottoman single bed and found a nice timber framed one from Millie & Jones at a reasonable price. Communication from point of order to delivery was excellent. 3 boxes arrived ready for self assembly, that's where things fell apart. There was no indication of which box to open first for the instructions, it was obviously the last box that I opened where I found them. Now I'm pretty familiar with self assembly furniture but the instructions were very unclear which way around and what went where and the headboard was assembled 3 times before I got that right. The weird thing is that this bed does not have a 'floor' in it, instead it has 4 pieces of hardboard that are placed on the bedroom carpet and that is your floor, really how can any manufacturer be so cheap? It's not possible to assemble this bed if you don't have a reasonably sized room to do it in, likewise you wont be able to assemble it in one room and move it to another, the whole thing is too heavy and realistically probably too structurally flimsy to move. Total time to assemble with my 17 year old daughter, 2 3/4 hrs, I have never spent that amount of time assembling anything like this, the manufacturers need to rework the instructions from scratch.
Despite all the issues with assembly the finished product is comfy and looks quite nice but only buy if you don't mind spending time working out where parts go and which way around they should be assembled because the instructions are very misleading throughout, once this bed is in it's final position it's very unlikely that you are going to move it again because it's heavy and you cannot push it on the floor you would have to lift it to clean around it.

Customer service and product quality are outstanding. Delivery a bit slow but I was kept well informed. Building the bed was reasonably well explained however there were a couple of mistakes in the instructions. Very satisfied with the final result for my teen son.

Poor instructions and not satisfied with overall quality of the product.
Instructions for our bed were dreadful and not clear at all. As someone who is relatively handy with this kind of work, your instructions were not clear at all. Despite your instructions saying 2hrs assembly time for our bed with 2 persons, it took nearly a day and a half to put together. Additionally, one of the drawers does not fit properly under the bed as the space for the drawer is too wide and the drawer cannot sit on its runner. Really not happy, or impressed with the product for the money we paid.
