Worst company I’ve ever dealt with – avoid at all costs
I ordered a car battery from Mister-Auto on 21st April with an estimated delivery date of 27th April. Today is 6th May and the item still hasn’t arrived.
The tracking link provided is completely invalid, so there is no way to see where the parcel actually is.
I called last Friday and was told by a representative that the battery would be delivered that same evening. That clearly wasn’t true. I don’t understand how they could make such a claim when the tracking doesn’t even work.
Calling their Irish number is pointless—you just end up listening to music with no real help or answers.
No delivery, no communication, and misleading information.
Avoid, avoid, avoid.

I spend 1h trying to purchase a car battery on their website. There was no option to choose a payment. I contacted customer service and spend another 3h trying to sort it but the girl on the phone recommended to send them an email and in the email reply they suggested to contact them by phone! In the end of the day it appeared that there was an issue on their website and not on my end! Why not to tell that from the beginning and to save 4h of my life?!

I ordered the brand new car battery and paid a full price for it and paid shipping fees. When the battery arrived I tested it with the tester and it showed state of health 86% and internal resistance 4.37 Om(has to be bellow 4 for the new battery). Obviously SOH 86% and high resistance doesn't match the characteristics of the new battery! The battery was manufactured almost 4 years ago and that's the reason why it doesn't match characteristics of the new battery! So mister-auto doesn't check the batteries before sending them and send you an old deteriorated stock without any discounts!

After the battery test I opened the refund request and send an email describing the issue related to the battery including the pictures with results of the test. In a few days I received the reply that they can send me the return shipping label. I confirmed that I am willing to return it. And after another day they finally send me the shipping label. After I delivered the battery to the courier I send the receipt and confirmation to mister-auto.
I placed the order on the 1.04.26. Today is 22.04.26 and I don't have the new battery and haven't received the refund!
I am contacting them every few days and asking them to make the refund ASAP, cos I need to buy another battery for my car. It takes them 1-2 days to reply with standard text that I have to wait while they will process something on their end! Phone line is useless too! Sometimes it doesn't work for days! But if they answer on the phone they just saying that the case has been escalated but there is still no result!
After all no battery and no money! I do not recommend you to deal with Mister-Auto! And if you ever think to buy anything from them, think twice! Cos you will not get what you order and you will never get your money back!

I ordered a car battery on 4th of April. It was stated that it would be a free delivery if ordered via their App. I installed the App, but still got charged for delivery which was not an issue for me. However, today is 20th April, still no car battery received. I contacted the customer service on 13th or so but took ages to reply, they said they would take this up with courier company. From 13th till today 20th, no update from customer service, no refund and no battery. This company's services are appalling.

2 month and I still waiting for my refund, avoid them they are very bad , I email them too many times always they said we gonna give your money in 14 days but still nothing, just avoid them and I'll claim procurement in Competition and Consumer Protection Commission , terrible company

Two orders, two failures – still no working battery and €337 gone
I ordered a battery from Mister Auto using their registration plate system, which said it was compatible (the VIN number was matching my vehicle VIN). It wasn't – the battery was the wrong size (278mm instead of my car's required 315mm). I returned it using a prepaid label they provided, but I'm still waiting for a refund weeks later.
I decided to give them a second chance and ordered the correct VARTA battery for €180.84. When it arrived, the box had no protective padding – the battery was loose inside. The housing next to the positive terminal is cracked open, and the metal terminals have visible clamp marks, showing it has already been used in another car. I received a damaged, used battery sold as new.
I have now spent €337.15, waited weeks, and still have no working battery for my car. The only way to contact Customer Care is by phone, and it took a long time to receive an email from them so I could send photos to support my case. Reading other recent reviews, I see I'm not alone – multiple customers have received wrong or damaged parts, then been charged for return shipping despite it being the company's fault.
Avoid Mister Auto. Their compatibility system is unreliable, their quality control is non‑existent, and getting a refund is a nightmare. Order elsewhere.

Be careful when ordering
Be careful when ordering. I have ordered brake hose for rear caliper passenger side and I got the part for driver side. I contacted customer service and was told I will get full refund because it's not my fault. So I ordered the correct part and paid for courier again.
And today they gave me refund but charged me a shipping and return courier cost.
Rip off. Never order again.

I had such a really terrible experience with Mister Auto. NEVER AGAIN!!
I ordered a car battery for 65 euros on 21 January 2026 using the GUEST checkout. Paid by credit card and was surprised to see no email confirmation of my order - even though 65 euros was taken by Mister Auto out of my account!!!
I phoned Mister Auto - very long waiting time to speak to someone - a 20min+ phone call - queried this and they said they had no record of my order or my email address! A second 23+ minute phone call to Mister Auto on February 11th, then a detailed email to Mister Auto where I felt I had no option but to inform them of my rights as an EU citizen (including injunctions Directive 2009/22/EC). There were also numerous long phone calls to my bank in Ireland.
My bank said it would be a good idea to block Mister Auto on my credit card account - which they did - because my bank said they couldn't be sure there would or wouldn't be further spurious charges by Mister Auto carried out on my account.
Anyway, Mister Auto finally reimbursed me on March 2nd 2026. WITH NO NOTIFICATION OR APOLOGY.
A LESSON LEARNED!!!

Poor service
Paid additional for fast order completing (on 9th March) and still can't track the my order (12th March), but in the order confirmation there is info that order will be delivered today. Website absolutely user unfriendly. Only one way of communication. The link to track the order brings you to nowhere.

Do not order from Mister Auto
Order a package of them to which i have waited 2 weeks to be told they made a mistake shipping it and thats why I didnt receive it. I have asked that they do something with the shipping to try get here faster than usual as its not my fault for their mistake to which i was told to cancel and order again using express delivery despite me giving them the 2 weeks which was meant to be the latest delivery date. So just on that basis i asked for refund and i will order somewhere else. I thought id share this here so other people dont make same mistake like i did ordering of this untrustworthy website. Also customer service do not care if business works or not just want to be paid for “customer service” work.

I’m very disappointed with the customer…
I’m very disappointed with the customer service and warranty process. My battery developed what appeared to be an internal fault, swelling on both sides, which I felt could have become dangerous if it failed while in my car. I submitted a warranty claim and followed all the required steps, but it was rejected due to “improper use,” even though the caps were removed during normal operation and only put back on for safe shipping. I explained this clearly, but the company refused to reconsider. Based on my experience, I felt unsupported as a customer and will not be purchasing from them again.

Lying about Delivery Time; Bad Customer Service
I ordered a new car battery and paid for 48 hours delivery too. The battery came after 15 days damaged in bits, with sides smashed and plastic all over inside the box.
They force customers to use their online forms on their website if they have any problems and a helpline phone number, none of them works.
I completed their online form for damaged parts, wasting my time, after few days, nothing happened, no one replied, I did it again, wasted time again.
They don't show off any contact email on their website, luckily I googled it found it and emailed them to ask about the form I completed and they said they can't see the online forms, they are completely useless, why would you force people complete the online forms if you can't even see them?...
They asked me for pictures of the damaged battery and label on the box and after I sent them they replied they can't open the pictures.
Mister-Auto it's a joke, it feels like a bad comedy movie

Before everything was fine,not first year with mister auto,but now,,,,costumer service is terrible,big charges for deliveries AND delivery all the time late(even I pay extra), website often not working (saying page not faund),funny,because not working ,,orders” or ,,refund” , so many times it let me go down that I have to say good bye for mister auto,at least for a while…

All good until you have an issue
I've been ordering items from mister auto for years and I've never had an issue but this time one of the items I received in my order was damaged. I logged on to their website and uploaded the information they asked for. I then got a response the next day asking for a photo of the shipping label but at that stage I had disposed of it, so they have refused to refund me for the item. They should ask for the label to be uploaded when opening a case if it's that important. Luckily it was a low value item, it would put me off buying anything of high value from them in the future if this is how they deal with this situation.
