Missold a crash damaged car, then patronisingly accused of causing it
It took me 2 trips to a garage to discover a vibration wasn't a quick wheel alignment or balance like I thought, but a number of slightly buckled alloys. I took it to a different garage because I was in the north west with work, and considered the vibration to be a safety issue, of which I explained on the phone.
It took 4 days for them to get back to me, told me I was lying, and that I caused the damage, and M.M.R were not going to help me resolve the issue.
Do yourself a favour, don't be me, look at the reviews on auto trader, Facebook, cargurus, and here on trustpilot. Compare those reviews to other garages. It paints a pretty accurate picture of my experience.
They will happily sell you a car, but if anything goes wrong, and looking at reviews and considering my own experience it quite often does, good luck to you. However, I think I'd rather spend my money getting the car fixed elsewhere because looking at other reviews, you wouldn't want their mechanics touching it anyways.
In short, believe the reviews, it's not a one off, look elsewhere, you'll thank yourself. 6 one star reviews in a month? You do the maths
Edit: Checking the paperwork over last night, and doing a full background check online, it turns out they concealed the whole rear LH side of the car had to be rebuilt due to a crash 4 months prior to selling me it, which explains the wheel damage they apparently checked "extensively" for, and accused me of causing.
