Sean and the team are great. Being self-employed, the first mortgage adviser, recommended by family, suggested I get a real job! Sean has helped immensely by increasing my awareness about how mortgages work and has enabled us to remortgage at the best possible rate. We are now looking at purchasing our forever home and are using Mortgage Wise to help us get the financing we need to make that happen.

Contacted a broker online when a local broker said she couldn’t help. Made sure I did my research first. I shouldn’t have worried, Sean and Team got me just what I needed and more. Very pleased with the service I received so thank you all so much.

Some unexpected fees:
The people I dealt with were very courteous. I think they could have been more explanatory around what exactly I could expect to pay at the end of the process. I was undoubtedly given a full breakdown of the fees that they charged as standard information, this did not make it clear what you had as standard fees. The only thing I was sure I would have to pay was £995 and this fee would be invoiced immediately following completion. However I was less sure of how my end figure that I was invoiced for came to £2295.00 At no point was this reiterated and whether I was happy to proceed given these charges. So it was a surprise the service was so much. The information was unclear as to what exactly you will pay. I think there should have been examples given of standard services people usually have, to show how fees can soon build up. A little courtesy to advise that if you opt for this or this, it would have been better to mention these come under additional fees. Overall I could have done things myself for less than half the costs.

Mortgagewise were really supportive throughout my lifetime mortgage process. I am especially grateful to Judy Griffiths and Sean Erberhardt who dealt with my case and processed all my documents efficiently and in a timely manner they both made the process pain free and I am happy now to have completed on my mortgage. Special thanks to Judy who was right there at the end of the phone line whenever I had a problem or needed something clarifying. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Mortgagewise.

We found Mortgage Wise online after trying unsuccessfully to have our Lender remortgage our property. MW were helpful and managed to find a Lender who had a mortgage package which could meet our specific niche requirements. This Lender then made requests for information which, in our opinion, were not relative to the mortgage they were offering and we objected to providing that information to them so after 3 months of effort we were forced to ask MW to find an alternative way of securing the remortgage of our property. This took another 2 months to finalise another Lender and a further 4 months to complete the exhaustive process. Throughout this process MW kept us updated as to the status of the application. The final guidance from MW, after the application had been accepted by the new Lender could have been better, but overall it was acceptable.

Great experience of sorting my mortgage with Mortgage Wise today. Sean was super helpful and very knowledgeful. I would definitely recommend mortgage wise.
