Jack was truly great. Old school care, courtesy and knowledge. A really good experience.

I have just completed the purchase of a top headphone system from Jack. What a wonderful experience. Jack is a pleasure to deal with; friendly, knowledgeable and very attentive. Jack's service alone makes the most compelling case for dedicated, bricks and mortar stores, where you deal with a real, engaging and dedicated person and not an algorithm.

For me, the mark of true customer service is how things are addressed when they go wrong. Through no fault of Jack's, there was a fault in the system I purchased (new, in unopened boxes). Jack was brilliant in making sure the issue was resolved quickly - and it was - making sure I was properly looked after. These things happen (very rarely, but they do) - Jack's handling of the situation, actually enhanced my appreciation of the service he provides.

I would not hesitate to buy from Jack again. He has a beautifully curated range of amazing equipment, to suit all budgets. My bank balance now needs a chance to heal...my ears have never been happier! Thanks, Jack 👍

Thoroughly recommend. I bought a valve amp purely based on the cheapest price. Always a bit of a leap of faith buying from somewhere new. I neednt have worried. The amp arrived the next day. Really friendly seller. Didn't mind my endless questions. Wouldn't hesitate to buy from him again.

On the 13th Nov I ordered the sheet music for Bach violin concerto in E major, a standard piece of music for violin repertoire. On 26th Nov I phoned and was told that they were expecting a delivery that day and it would be sent out. I phoned again on 1st Dec and eventually received it on 6th Dec., three and a half weeks after the order was placed. Totally unacceptable! I will not be using the Music Room again.

Cannot be trusted! AVOID! Agreed to buy my MBL preamp for $1800. I shipped it, they checked and accepted. Sent me a check for $1200 and said it was an “error” from the accounting. I received another check for $200, another “error”. I asked for the unit back and I would return the checks since they did not meet the agreement. Still owe me $400 my item was sold and shipped so they got the money.

Deceptive, deceitful and ultra slow communication. Having sold the amplifier to me, Jack backpaddled when he found another buyer. Simply cannot be trusted to act with integrity. The worst hi-fi store experience ever. DO NOT buy anything here.

Excellent customer service from Alwyn and the team could not have been more helpful when buying a Guitar for a birthday present. Sent photos played guitars over the phone as I am in Scotland and sent actual photos of the two I was interested in . They also made sure of prompt delivery. Would definitely use again , thanks guys.
