Huge shoutout to Christian at Baser for the best customer service experience I’ve had in a long time. He walked me through everything (including things I’d missed!) and made the whole process—from ordering to warehouse pickup—super easy.
The difference in quality between this and my old Bunnings or wooden umbrellas is night and day. The push-release is so slick to use, and the fabric is clearly high-grade. I was looking for something tough but simple for a holiday house, and the flexible base design is exactly what’s needed for those windy days. This is a winner, and I’m definitely getting another one soon!

Christian provided us with prompt advice via a personal and Informative video. We were searching for the perfect Umbrella for our newly renovated pool area. He didnt try to sell us the most expensive ones. In fact the one we chose was one of the cheaper ones. The quality is fantastic. Sturdy and quality for our Adelaide weather. I am so happy with my umbrellas from My Baser. From the very beginning, Christian provided outstanding service. We had a very exposed sunny patio that required some shade, I sent a video and some photos of our area to Christian, and he sent a video back with many different options to choose from and a very comprehensive review of all the umbrellas that would work, and together we came up with the best solution. The shipping was very fast. The umbrellas were very easy to put together and the quality of the product is outstanding. They are perfect for our space, and make our outdoor areas so much more liveable. Christian knows his stuff - I have recommended My Baser to all my friends!

Beautiful umbrella that you can instantly tell is amazing quality. I have purchased *cough* 8 umbrellas for my new pool area in the span of 18 months, (therapy would be cheaper) they ranged from bunnings $150 to a bougie lux brand that was over $1000. This one is definitely ticking all the boxes. Wide span, aluminium pole, tall, tilts, crank open rather than pulley string, white! not cream or beige, wood like aluminium looks realistic, lightweight, thick fabric, strong reinforcements.

So just wanted to share my experience with Christian (Mr Shade) today. I’ve been looking for a sturdy umbrella that can withstand some wind and being close to the ocean. I engaged with Christian to get clarity on a few things after seeing one of the ads on FB today. Our communication was on Messenger after I sent him a short video of the area and Christian made multiple videos to explain what umbrella would be best showcasing exactly what I need for the space. Seriously this guy went to so much trouble and many businesses could take lessons from Christian around customer service and care. His product sold - of course. And while I have not yet received the umbrella I would encourage you to reach out to Christian if you’re in the market for a good sun umbrella. Once I’ve received and used the umbrella I’ll definitely give an update. So if the product is as good as the customer service you can’t go wrong. Thanks Christian!

I recently purchased the Original Cantilever from Baser. Christian provided personalised service based on my needs. His customer service is amazing, ensuring that I purchased the right product for my small deck area. The umbrella was easy for me to assemble, is great quality and easy to use. The feature that also worked for me was that weight bags have 15kg weight bags, meaning that I can manage moving these on my own. I highly recommend Baser if you are looking to purchase outdoor umbrellas. Fast delivery, great customer service and Christian really looks after his customers.

This company goes beyond in customer service! Absolutely brilliant! I was able to email a video of the area of concern re placement of the umbrella and Christian could not have been more helpful in responding via a video re his recommendations whilst at the same time looking at the video I had forwarded! Best service ever!!

Fantastic product, easy to setup! Very happy with the outdoor umbrella, and the sand bags that came with it. In the harsh QLD sun, it is a nice reprieve to have some extra shade, especially at BBQ time.

Such a great family business , the product is amazing but the whole sale was clinched with the personal touch of Christian And just the help in making sure we got the perfect product for our Perth Fremantle wind and sun …if all sales people did that then they would have a lot more sales …can give more than 5 stars but if I could give ten I would ..

I was looking for a cantilever umbrella to provide shade for an outdoor table and chairs in my 5x6 metre courtyard. Searches quickly led to Baser's website, which I found to be clear about the different base products, and their key features and options. The cantilever umbrella design includes mechanisms to rotate the canopy about the base, as well as tilt it through both left-right and forward-backward axes, making it possible to adjust the shade coverage over a wide area without moving the base. All these axes of movement are on a virtually continuous scale, in contrast to some products from other manufacturers I considered (which, for example, only permitted rotation around the base at 90 degree intervals). The high level of UV protection (UPF80!) afforded by the canopy fabric was an important feature for me, as UV levels can reach very high levels in my location. I understand that the solution dyed acrylic used is widely accepted to be superior to the polyester and polypropylene fabrics that featured in many competing products. I was also attracted by Baser's five year guarantee covering replacement parts. In my experience, only companies that have a justified confidence in the quality of their products offer such guarantees.

I had some questions about the wood-look finish and its resilience (Baser use a process called heat transfer sublimation to transfer a wood image to the powder coating, so that it is embedded and not on a covering which could peel away). Christian responded promptly to this and other questions, and on a couple of occasions included with his response a personalised explanatory video. Christian also encouraged me to send photos and a plan I had made of my courtyard. He provided advice on the appropriate size of umbrella for the space and its positioning, and the canopy colour and frame finish that would best suit the space.

I ultimately chose the Baser Supreme Cantilever in the 2.5 metre square size with anthracite canopy and wood-look frame. After making a decision and placing an order, delivery was very prompt (I paid for the order on a Thursday and it was delivered to a regional address outside a capital city on the following Tuesday). When I received the umbrella, I was impressed with the design and quality of manufacturing. All the mechanisms (rotation around the base, left-right and forward-backward tilt) are well calibrated, precise, and easy to adjust. The canopy material is robust, and the colour nicely matches other elements of my courtyard. The wood-look finish, which looks great in the website photos, looks even better in actuality, and helps to add some visual warmth to my space. I couldn't be happier with the umbrella and would not hesitate to recommend it to others faced with a similar decision.

Fantastic product and great personalised service

I can't thank Christian from Baser enough for the amazing and professional service. Can't remember how I stumbled upon Baser while searching for the best outdoor umbrella with the best coverage, but I am glad I did. He has great knowledge of his products. I ended up getting the Original Cantilever 3m Umbrella. It fits perfectly for our outdoor space and you can tell the quality is high, feels really sturdy, I don't regret spending a little more for sun protection, especially with young kids around.

I bought the Baser Supreme Cantilever umbrella 8 months ago and we are extremely happy with it.
It was pricey, but SO worth it. Adjusting in every direction is amazing and every component is super high quality. It throws noticeably more shade than our other umbrellas and shade cloth (better blocking fabric).

All the mechanisms are smooth and user friendly. Little things like being able to swivel it using your foot on the pedal make it nice and easy to adjust throughout the day. It also looks great.

Great product and I'd definitely buy from Baser again.

Great communication from Christian when I had couple questions.. quick delivery out of Sydney, definitely a 2 person job to assemble but reasonably easy to do so.. amazing quality and just beautiful when it’s up.. 360 degrees flexibility superb.. would definitely recommend the supreme cantilever..
