Nothing speaks to the spontaneity of wildlife travel like a 2:30am knock on your cabin door announcing a polar bear approaching on the pack ice. Everyone grabbed their cameras, and no one stayed behind. This trip had everything: great wildlife sightings, awe-inspiring landscapes, excellent guides, a terrific crew (especially those looking for polar bears in the middle of the night), delicious meals, and a comfortable ship. We have used NWS several times, because they know how to get the most out of wildlife travel. Previously we saw jaguars, emperor penguins, sperm whales (we got to swim with them), tigers, and snow leopards, and all of these trips were first-rate. All of the NWS staff we've worked with are knowledgeable and responsive. For Svalbard they advised going on a small ship (the Kinfish holds only 12 passengers), which has more flexibility in its itinerary and can get to more places than bigger ships. We're working on our next trip with them now.

Amazing trip to Svalbard! Our two guides, Eva and Boris, were outstanding- very knowledgeable, accommodating and lots of fun to be around. The wildlife viewing was excellent and the scenery spectacular. The Kinfish crew members were all great and the food and wine excellent. It was great to spend time on the bridge learning from the captain and interacting with all the other guests. Highly recommended!!

We have enjoyed many trips with NWS and they have all been fantastic experiences. The most recent was to Svalbard, which was completely different to our usual destinations, but their recommendation once again proved spot on and it was unforgettable for all the right reasons. They have a wonderful team at NWS, with tremendous insight to all of their destinations. They always manage to balance adventure and comfort in a way that suits us perfectly, although their portfolio does include a very wide range of wilderness experiences, from 'close to the edge' to absolute luxury. We are already planning our next trip with them....

We’re recently back from the most amazing trip to Svalbard with NWS. I recently wrote a very general review about them but was moved to speak specifically about this particular trip as well. We don’t normally do cold but had heard so many good things about going to Svalbard that we decided to break away from our norm, and we’re so glad we did - it was a trip of a lifetime for us. We were given excellent and very detailed advice about what kit to take, and the team were happy to answer all our questions, as they always are, so we felt well prepared. The Kinfish was a very cosy and comfortable ship and the crew were incredible. We are vegetarian and wondered what we would get but were served a variety of delicious meals. The expedition leaders were fantastic - extremely knowledgable, helpful and good company, super spotters of wildlife and worked well with the Captain and crew to provide the best activities in the conditions. It was incredibly special to be the only ship in the vicinity and to enjoy the silence and the amazing scenery and atmosphere and incredible light. This was our 10th trip with NWS and we are looking forward to planning our next one with their expert care and attention to detail. We recommend them very highly indeed.

My husband and I were lucky enough to go on a 10 day trip to Svalbard with NWS. It was the most amazing thing we have done, the scenery, the light, the wildlife, the peacefulness were all out of this world. NWS could not have done more, the crew and guides were phenomenal and we had Hannah and Erika from NWS who made us feel so at home and comfortable. The before trip care was great, no question too small. I was really impressed with the attention to detail, I had enquired about a hair dryer and there was one ready in our room with adaptor and extension lead nicely packaged up. It was also our 24th wedding anniversary whilst on board the boat and Hannah and Erika arranged a boat celebration with champagne and a card signed by the crew, it was so touching it made me cry! The Kinfish boat was absolutely perfect, luxury without any stuffiness, I was really impressed. This is a trip I tell everyone to go on, it’s magical and you will not regret it!

NWS provide very thorough information ahead of the trip and kept me up to date which was reassuring given the start of a war just before my trip.
Any questions I had were always answered.
I'm used to travelling alone but the support was excellent & seamless. Transfers between the airport & hotel and those between national parks were very well organised, clean and comfortable with bottled water and snacks provided in vehicles.
In the national parks we had the advantage of 'all day passes' so were able to spend many hours in the parks looking for wildlife.

The quality and attentiveness of the guides provided, made the whole experience superb

We were very pleased with how our 5-day safari program went, including itinerary, touring and guides -- and especially the puma encounters. (We saw pumas on 2 of our 3 dedicated puma tracking days, with a very close, extended encounter on our last day. Our private specialist guide, Max, assigned by Leona Amarga which was arranged for us by Natural World Safaris, was also outstanding.) We also really appreciated the dedication shown by the NWS team in working with us in the planning stages of our trip to add custom touches that made all the difference. (Private transfers, a dual stay split between Las Torres and Eco Camp, private puma tracking that allowed us to choose where we went and for how long.) It was a fantastic and truly memorable trip from start to finish.

Great planning and very friendly service for a trip to Patagonia. All bus transfers, dorm rentals, meals, boat rides, and entry tickets were accurate, all at a reasonable price.

Good advice, lots of expertise and quick to react. Lovely accommodations with great food. We will definitely return for a next trip.

My wife and I were very disappointed with a recent Sperm Whale Interaction itinerary to Dominica. The trip is very expensive. The services and accommodations were minimal at best but sold at high end prices. The guide, expedition boat and accommodations were all below par. I have advised NWS of our unhappiness with the cost vs value equation with this experience.
Also we did not see any sperm whales nor much of anything else. This is not the fault of NWS. They cannot control nature. However a traveler must be prepared to invest a considerable amount of cash into an experience that never happens and handle the disappointment on every level that follows.

I have been using NWS as my go to agents in wildlife photography safaris for decades. This most recent trip to 2 parks in India; Tadoba and Kanha and an additional stop in Jawai were fantastic,
For 3 weeks I enjoyed some of the best large Indian predator sightings, not only the expected tigers and leopards but also Indian wild dogs I have had in years of going there, I also enjoyed sighting many of the other creatures of India,
All 3 lodges I stayed at were beautifully designed and maintained, They all provided meals that highlighted local cuisine and regional specialties which I prefer. the staff everywhere were friendly and knowledgeable.
Another memorable journey.

I have traveled with NWS on wildlife adventures several times, and they are great! What I like the most is they are always there to greet and assist you at the airports, lodges, hotels - everywhere! At the airports, they take you to the check in desk, make sure you and your luggage get on the plane, and take full care of you when you arrive at your next destination. Everything is worry free! Their guides and drivers are excellant! They will do everything possible to make your tour wonderful. I will travel with them again!

As a single female traveller, since widowed a few years ago, I feel safe and secure as each person that guided me to/from airports and between planned individual tours was always polite, helpful and made me feel special for coming to their country. NWS has my trust that all we discuss will come true and was often more magical than I expected.

Just returned from an amazing trip to Norway to swim with the orcas and humpback whales. Absolutely astounding.

The experience was everything I wanted and more. We were lucky - no bad weather days, and we got in the water with the orcas each day, and humpbacks all but one day.

The trip was well organised, and communication throughout the booking process was quick and easy. Always quick to respond to emails, and always happy to pick up the phone and give me a call. Many thanks especially to Ben, who was the operations specialist for this trip!

The boat we stayed on was the M/S Sjoveien. It was a lovely little ship, comfortable rooms, and lovely wait staff.

My wife and I have booked several trips with NWS, there's a reason for that, we know we're getting the trip we want, and then some!

The question one has to ask is, with time being such a precious commodity these days, given the busy lives we lead, taking a vacation should'nt be a gamble, but rather a guarantee that one can decompress, recharge and experience unforgettable memories, coupled with the satisfaction that our well earned money was well spent in our choice of travel agent/partner and what we planned/paid for was exactly what we got in return, minus the stress, effort that comes with planning a dream holiday.
