Ignore Problems: We have been using Netchex for 5 months. We have had the same problem for over 90 days. Nothing has been done to fix the issue. We have made repeated requests and they do nothing. It is very frustrating. At the core of our issue is their promise to have a file that will import into our accounting system's general Ledger. The file isn't complete and must be modified every single time. Further, starting 3 months ago, there is a balance error and the general ledger file doesn't balance! "We are looking into it" is their reply. We are starting our 4th month with the same error and they have done nothing to fix it. Other features and functionality are nice, but their follow-up on issues is horrendous.

I am a fractional CFO for automotive dealerships, and my experience with Netchex has been extremely disappointing. My client went live with Netchex 45 days ago, and the implementation has been problematic from the start. Key elements were not set up correctly, and much of the responsibility for correcting those issues was pushed back onto our internal team.

I have managed multiple payroll vendor migrations over the years, and this has been, by far, the most poorly executed process I’ve encountered. Several critical issues remain unresolved, including a payroll processed on 1/20/26 that still has not posted to the Netchex system. This has created unnecessary complications related to tax reporting and timely payments.

Communication has also been a major concern. Netchex is unwilling to engage by phone and relies almost exclusively on email, even when time-sensitive payroll and compliance matters are involved. Escalating the issues to higher levels within the organization resulted in the same lack of urgency and accountability.

Payroll and HR require accuracy, responsiveness, and timely execution due to their legal and compliance implications. The lack of support and follow-through has cost our team significant time and effort, with little progress to show for it. Issues are routinely deflected back to the customer rather than being resolved.

We are actively seeking an alternative payroll provider. Unfortunately, this experience has been an expensive lesson learned.

Absolute joke of a company. Wait 45+ days to figure out the taxes are incorrect. Will need to wait 7-10 days to get an updated W2. 5 days before taxes are do, and still no updated W2's. Can't call in and talk to anyone at the company about this, they refer to the company administrator. The ap on the phone also isn't user friendly.

Netchex has a great customer service department that is extremely responsive to their customer's needs. Netchex is very reliable, user friendly and innovative. I would highly recommend them for your HR and payroll needs.

We are overall very happy with the product and services, however we do experience some downtime that can be frustrating.

I have used Netchex for at least 12 years since I purchased my business from my previous employer and for several years prior to that. The dashboard is easy to use, the fee for the service is fair and the employees are always very helpful when I have questions. I highly recommend Netchex to anyone looking for a payroll company.

I love the payroll service!! It is so easy to do payroll every two weeks! The very few times I have had to call the staff was always very helpful.

Every part of the product is very user friendly and intuitive. The support staff is always quick to answer questions or point you in the right direction. We have been with Netchex for 13 years and we look forward to many more in the future.

Netchex has streamlined our payroll process tremendously. Before Netchex, I had to use three different software platforms for payroll and upload and manually pay federal and state taxes. Learning the Netchex software did take time. The video's available online are helpful and tech support has always explained things to make it an easy learning process.

NetChex has amazing customer service. We have used a few different payroll providers over the 12 years we have been in business and to date, NetChex is the best. This is both the best at the services it provides, but also the best value. We love the 401k intergration, the WOTC credits, the recruitment module, and more. As a SDVOSB, we employ personnel across many states and have multi tax jurisdictions. This is not an easy account, but NetChex makes it easy!

Whenever I have a question or a problem someone is always there to help me. They are always helpful and very courteous. Last week I had a payroll problem and Jena was very patient in helping solve my payroll issue.
Another employee there named Marsha has always always been very helpful to me.

In addition to have a fantastic, robust product, Netchex has the best customer support I've ever encountered. Their employees are knowledgeable, courteous, and thorough.

Speaking to support is always a pleasure. The CSR that I spoke with most recently was extremely knowledgeable, and worked promptly to help with my problem. I love the option to speak to live support.

I'm not crazy about the recent changes made to the chat option. I find that there are too many "hoops" to jump through to get to a live person.

When contacting through the online chat about adding a new Payroll rate (piece rate code) -Mike J. at Netchex was very helpful and even offered to walk me through the process.

I think all the agents are knowledgeable and helpful. Netchex has been a positive change to our company. It is user friendly.

Thank you for the opportunity to share my feedback. For the most part, whenever I am having an issue and reach out by phone (my preferred method for both quick resolution and because of the time difference) I am met with professional, kind, and patient help. The only real frustration we've experienced was a mistake that was made when we were onboarded. Evidently, it was difficult to catch and it cost us hundreds of dollars in variance taxes. We are still dealing with the repercussions over 2 years later. We were never offered restitution.

The timekeeping system is very user friendly and easy for administration to navigate. I love the integration with Dealertrack. Posting to accounting is a breeze.
Any issues are quickly addressed by Netchex staff.

Great company. Very helpful, especially when I have issues that need addressed quickly. I have recommended Netchex to everyone that asks me who we use for our payroll. I always tell them Netcheck is a great company with friendly & knowledgeable staff.
