Underwhelming lack of Communication
I used Nethrial in the run up to Xmas to get a gift only they had in stock at the time. I won’t be using them again. The product was ordered on November 30th and it finally reached me on Dec 14th. Unfortunately I had to chase Ellie on status updates on the item, I would not have minded as I understand that delays can happen, however it would have been much more professional if the team from Nethrial had reached out to me first, to give me a heads up that the item was late. In addition, puzzlingly there seems to be no option to track the ordered item once it’s been confirmed - to do this you have to contact customer services - not ideal in today’s fast moving on-line marketplace. This was dissaponiting and made Nethrial appear amateurish. As someone who has a background in luxury retail, I feel I have some understanding of customer retention that the team behind Nethrial seem to lack. I have now received the item, however as it’s so late it would have been better practice for Nethrial to reach out and explain or even say something like “Hi, we know we didn’t offer you very good service on this occasion because of X Y Z, and we are sorry for this” but such a courtesy has not been forthcoming. Nice product selection, bout overall a lot to learn in managing client expectations - Nethrial could do a lot better.

Ellie here, I really apologise that you did not feel satisfied and currently Nethrial is still a growing business in its first year and we only have 2 people for customer service so in the run-up to Christmas and Black Friday myself and the other customer service team member have not been able to provide the support we usually would.
