Tomato seed order arrived quite quickly but postage seemed excessive for 2 small packets of seed. The Gardeners Delight germinated very well but only 20% germination for the Golden Bumblebee. Nicky has sent out a replacement package of the Golden Bumblebee which has prompted me to increase the rating from 3 to 4 stars. FOLLOW UP. I now owe Nicky a humble apology. 2 seeds germinated and then nothing happened. One week later all 10 have germinated !!! She advised me that they could take up to a fortnight and they did. I feel very guilty that she sent another packet, which came very quickly, and they have all germinated !!

No delivery after weeks!

Contacted multiple times and just told its in post but no tracking no estimate. When you pay for shipping with 1st class you expect at least delivery after 3rd day but nothing after 3 weeks.

Do not trust the old reviews the shop has folded and is just looting customers now.

I've already messaged you 4 times and you've asked me to wait. It's been 4 weeks now and you haven't given me any other option so yes you are not fulfilling orders.

If I get my order I will gladly remove this review even if it's a month late.

To anyone reading this if the review stays you know what happened.

Ordered quite a few seeds from them, it’s really enjoyable looking through the selection on offer. It’s organised well on the website. It does take a few days for orders to be despatched (this is stated on the homepage) mentioned at checkout as well. The seeds I have bought and sown have good germination rates. I would recommend you give them a try, fantastic selection of tomato seeds.

First time I have used this company.
Ordered a packet of tomato seeds. Packet advertised as containing 10 seeds which is fairly measly but nevertheless I went ahead and purchased. On arrival only 8 seeds in the packet and to add insult to injury only 6 germinated. Informed Nickys Nursery accordingly and been met with silence. Won't be using them again.

Have used this company before and cannot fault it. Good amount of seeds that always work. Always arrived on time

Great price for seeds and you get more than other companies! I love how they are sent in very neatly sealed packets with easy to follow instructions on the front. I will be ordering again!

Always an excellent choice of interesting seeds as well as popular choices. I find the navigation of the website a little clumsy, but perseverance is the answer. No nonsense packaging. Quick delivery (usually!)

The website is very easy to navigate and shows a very good selection of seeds. Ordering was very easy. My order arrived within 4 days of placing the order and was very well packed.

I emailed this company about missing seeds in vial nearly 2 months ago. No reply, had bought from them in past, but buy from them again.
Had refund from Nicky Nursery. I emailed originally in October and then again recently. So, only fair to acknowledge that the company sorted out the problem eventually.

I have used this company for a number of years now mainly for herbs and vegetables and really impresed with the germination and selection of seeds on offer. Seeds are well packaged and excellent value.

Totally sent wrong seeds. You would expect a seed nursery to understand the difference between two plants of the same family....very amateurish.

Do not use this company . They mistakenly put Deadly Nightshade seed in one of the edible herb packets that I ordered .I tried one of the leaves of my supposedly edible herbs and ended up in A and E !!!!Thank fully I only ate one leaf otherwise could have been very dangerous.
Tried to contact them but no reply . Taking it up with my solicitors. KEEP WELL AWAY!

In March my daughter gave me 5 packets of Nicky's seeds for my birthday, one each of San Marzano – Thessaloniki – Roma Nano & Orange Wellington tomatoes and a Tromboncino Courgette. Five each of the seeds were duly placed in my Garland propagator along with five each of Suttons Sauce – Thompson & Morgan Shimmer and twelve seeds taken from a fresh Lidl Marvellous tomato.

From the twenty five Nicky's seeds planted a total of seven seeds have germinated, five tomatoes and two tromboncinoes.

I hate to say it, but all my others seeds germinated, including those taken from the fresh Lidl tomato.

I have purchased a variety of vegetable seeds from this company and they have given variable results, however I also bought Streptocarpus, Gazania and Impatiens seeds this year and have been extremely disappointed with the poor germination rates these gave. The Streptocarpus only produced 3 seedlings from 30 seeds and the others had less than 50% germination. I left a message on their website but received no reply. Judging from other reviews on here, they do not like any criticism of the seeds they supply and ignore complaints. I will not use them again.

Disappointing, 2 packets of Giraffe Sun Flower seeds and all failed to germinate. I started Mongolian Giant, Titan, Pikes Peak at the same time and I have 95% germination rate, so there must be something wrong with these seeds. I tried reaching out to them via email but never received a response.

I used this company whilst living in France more than 6 years ago and I still have plants from those original seeds here in the garden in Wales where I now live. I am very impressed with their service and the quality of product they have. I have recently bought more seeds which arrived quickly and are well packaged with excellent information on planting conditions. I wold highly recommend Nicky's nursery to all. Fantastic range for everything including flowers and vegs. Best germination rates I've had -and I use a lot of suppliers. This shop is my go to, good customer service too and the prices are very reasonable.

First time buying seeds from Nicky's Nursery and it won't be my last! They have a terrific range, I've bought some heritage variety tomatoes and okra which I'm looking forward to trying. Great service from ordering to delivery.
