I install bathrooms for a living and Nuie quality is pretty basic. You get what you pay for. There after sales is shocking, twice on two seperate products do they make you go the property to prove that the issue lies with them, and they want you to go back more times. They don’t want to send a replacement for anything but put it on the installer. I’ve resulted into buying a cartridge myself as I can’t just afford to go back as many times as they please. Quality is poor after sales is worthless, will not buy from them again.

Everything went wrong. The screws on the overflow were too short. The legs were missed off order and the shop ended up having to go and pick them up miles away as they kept lying about them being sent out. The legs were then found to be plastic, which we didn’t know about, nothing on website about this. They also didn’t fit properly. The screws on the waste pipe were too short and needed to be changed. The width of the bath wasn’t taken into consideration. This has been a complete shambles. We are now ‘waiting’ for metal feet to be delivered… who knows when we will get them.

After purchasing over 2K worth of items from our local bathroom place who use Nuie products with there nice shiny catalogue . The same local company fitted the new bathroom which was a complete rip out and replace. After only three months we noticed that the top of the vanity draw unit which sits under the sink started to crack. The unit comes with a year guarantee so got in touch with the local company who put us onto Nuie. Who proceeded to tell us all about the WATER INGREES and how your not allowed to get the unit wet. ITS A UNIT THAT SITS UNDER A SINK. There is no mention of water ingress in the nice shiny catalogue. Its only when its fitted and you look at the fitting instructions that we never got to see as it was fitted by a local company. After getting in touch with Nuie they proceed to tell us all about "WATER INGREES" which they must have on "copy and paste" for when customers complain. As other people have mentioned you have to now buy a new unit, You cannot just buy a new draw front. If you have found yourself in this position you will have to buy some laminate from your local work top supplier cut and shape the laminate then use Evo-stick glue to stick the laminate onto the draw. After you have done this you must use finishing wax to put a coating onto the unit including all the bottom edges to try and make it water proof. I would not recommend these units for a bathroom where there is WATER (go figure). So according to Nuie you MUST check all DOOR'S and WINDOW'S are shut, the GAS is turned of AND you have completely dried the unit. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

Tap proved to be vertically out of alignment. Contacted NUIE and they replaced it. Fitted the new tap and converted it from compression to quarter turn cartridge with different cross head handles very easily. Good service from NUIE.

The Arno unit looks nice and quality is ok, shame they leave unsealed chipboard edges inside though. All the hardware was missing from the box when delivered. Five emails later we at least have wall mounts but no handles and little idea what else should have been included.

3rd time - damaged again, UPS driver didn't even bother loading it due to the state it will was in, wooden frame broken, its now getting returned back to amazon.

Between amazon and the manufacture, they are not fit to sell this item due to poor packaging/handling, 3 times in a row damaged !

I have given up ordering this, 2 weeks wasted, buying and returning damaged items.

My advise is buy from a company who knows how to package an item correctly.

Simply put, if it was packaged alot better, there would be no issue.

Bathroom vanity unit door has split at top after 4 months of use in a well ventilated downstairs toilet. Water is not left on top of door. Only 2 adults in house.

As this product is manufactured with MFC (Melamine Faced Chipboard)
Any water left pooling on the product Or Insufficient Ventilation in your Bathroom will cause the product to soak water in , Expand and blow.
 
This product is only water resistant and not water proof. and as such we would not be able to offer a replacement , our instructions state

Spillages and splashes - On no account should any spillages or splashes, even water, be allowed to lie on any surface. All spillages and splashes should be wiped dry, failure to do so may shorten the life expectancy of the product and invalidate any guarantees.
 
Product not fit for purpose.

Not only are the products lovely but the team at Nuie are also fantastic at helping sort out any issues. Couldn't fault the service we received from Harry, always willing to help whenever we reach out. 10/10!
