Paspic sent replacement photos. (Email notification never received) These were clearly of better quality than the first set received. These are the pics I should have received first time around.
The first set issued were clearly not quality checked before sending.
This has caused delay & further expense as a result of the differences in quality checking due to having to recertify & resend the images to the AU passport office.
I have since used another provider whos images come with a certificate of pass for AU standard passport pics & trimmed to the correct size.
The AU passport pic rules are incredibly strict & are a biometric passport which is why the photo quality was rejected with 1st submission.

I was hoping to use this service to save time for a US passport photo. I scanned and uploaded a picture I had that was previously taken by a photography studio. The online validation passed. I was then contacted by support a few days later telling me the picture wasn't valid and to provide a valid photo.
I live alone and have no equipment to do this myself. At this point, any further investment of time or money completely makes the paspic service a waste for me as I might as well get the photo professionally done at this point. I then requested a refund and have not heard anything back.
Regretfully, I have no other choice but to post a negative review. I do not recommend this service.
Edit: They provided a useless canned response about Paypal Buyer protection that is not even relevant to the complaint at hand...smh.

I am not surprised to find that other people have also complained about the quality of service provided by Paspic. Please avoid this company.
During the Government online passport application process, the website said that the quality of the passport photo Paspic generated was low, not medium but the LOWEST quality possible. This mean that the pictures, which cost £8.99 were entirely unusable.You can also see how poorly they took out the background of the original picture, as others have commented on and experienced. The alternative photo I took and submitted passed with no issues so it is not an issue with the BETA automatic validation process and children.
I contacted Paspic and they refused to refund the cost of what are essentially useless photos. They asked me for a letter (impossible, as the process was online) or a screenshot of the assessed photo (impossible, as I had already submitted the application with an alternative photo.). I wrote and explained this. They did not respond.
Do they really think I would be complaining about the service if the photo had been accepted? Terrible customer service failing to respond in good faith. No surprise to see that they also have poor ratings on Google Reviews.

My daughter's photo was not approved. When they cleaned the background, they cut around the edges of the hair unevenly and the photo was rejected because it was 'obviously edited'
Wrote to the company a few times requesting a refund to no avail.

Have used this service many times in the past but having used it last week it seems that the service has massively declined.
I have been sent the physical photos but not the digital photos and I need these to apply for a passport online. I have called them and there isn’t any answer, and I have also emailed them and they haven’t responded either so the customer service seems no existent.
Very disapponting to see such a great service decline so much in a matter of a couple of years.

Update 2: I have now received the email with the digital pictures. Will change my review to 3 star to account for the fact that I have now got the picture after much effort and chasing.

I used this service and got all photos sent. Then I used again for a second set and only received the physical photos. As we are applying for our passport online, these are no good. I have tried to contact Paspic by phone (never any answer) and by email/support from on website. All goes ignored. Looking at their replies, they tend to say that their emails get caught in spam filters. That doesn't explain why they ignore support requests and can't answer their phone. Total waste of money. I would strongly suggest you AVOID THIS COMPANY and look elsewhere.

Having used this company before (without issue), I am saddened and frustrated to have to give such a low score today.
I received the physical pictures but to date, have still not received the email with the link on for my electronic copy. I have been waiting to send my children’s passport applications off but will now have no option but to do this by post (which will take longer AND cost me almost another £20).
I have submitted a ‘contact us’ form via the website, emailed the support address and left a voicemail (no one ever picks up the line for order related queries!). I ended up calling again but selecting the ‘administrative’ option and got through to someone. Apparently this person just manned the desk in the rented building but he took my details and promised to pass it on. Still nothing.
Very disappointing and incredibly frustrating that this has become a faceless organisation with no customer service whatsoever. I shan’t be using again...

Coupons do not work, and the service is rubbish. Phone many times during two weeks time and still got no response - no either of them - a new set of passport photos for free or money back.
I paid two times for passport photos and still did not get approval from the authority.
Communication with this company is rubbish. I placed an order and was sent the digital link which kept returning an error message and I have not received my hard copies.
I order for my son the next day and I have received both of his.
No response to my emails or phone calls at all. Impossible to contact. Its very frustrating when I used these for a quick turnround and im still waiting!
Do not use this company. I only received my hard copy photo, not my digital one. I therefore tried to contact them - I’ve called several times, leaving voicemails, emailed them twice and also filled in the online form on their website. I have had no response through any of these means. Have they ceased trading? Very odd indeed.

Got my photo digitally, but have yet to receive the hard-copies of the photo and it's been more than 1 week since the order. I emailed support and did not hear back within 24 hours. To be determined whether the passport office will accept the photo.

Passport photo got rejected. Impossible to get refund or code for another print. Clearly 99.5% of photos being approved is not true based on the reviews on this page.
Now that passports are accepting digital images I think it is easier to take your own picture and upload it to their website.
UPDATE AFTER THEIR REPLY
I find it extremely interesting that this company have almost instantly responded to a bad review but have taken more than 24 hours to respond to an email. I would like everyone to note that I called before sending an email and the person I spoke to couldn’t resolve my issue over the phone and told me someone would call me back as soon as she’d spoken to her colleague who she would speak to as soon as she finished our call.

I’m adding this text at the front of my original review (below) since the photographs were accepted without question by the Passport Office. Although I still think the quality could be improved.
Poor quality pics using poor materials for cheapness - even though the quality of my upload was excellent. I also ordered the pics “cut” - they weren’t. My conclusion: go to the photo booth to get far higher quality at the same price, and have the peace of mind that the photos will be definitely accepted - rather than looking like they had been cut out of a cheap magazine!

Ordered three photos and although they were delivered quickly, two of them failed submission at post office check and send. I’ve emailed the support email and it’s bounced back and have now left three messages with the reception, never had a call back. Epic fail, a total waste of time and money , I had to go and get another set of photos at the last minute. I’ll be contacting my credit card company to claim a refund as paspic have ignored my messages.
