Had a wonderful long weekend holiday in Snowdonia. Paul is a very talented and experienced photographer and is a great people person, all in all making it a very enjoyable experience. I appreciated the small group setting as it allowed Paul to spend time with each of us. He really is a great teacher and tailored his teaching to each of us from beginner (me) to more experienced. The experiential learning left me with more knowledge and skills (that I need to continue practicing) than after many online talks that I’ve been to with other people. I really appreciated the time both out at stunning locations and also time back at the lovely house editing our photos. Definitely recommend and will be back on another holiday soon! Thank you

I joined Paul for a weekend of photography in Snowdonia. Groups are capped at 3 people, which is perfect for getting individual attention. I found it so useful to have Paul watch me (from a 7am dawn shoot to 10pm editing sessions) and offer advice or point out buttons I didn't know exist. I learned so much more than from a pre-prepared course. He is very attentive when needed, while giving you your own space, and skilled at adjusting his instruction to your level. He strongly encourages you to make your own judgements (rather than be told what to do) which is helpful for developing your own approach. And he knows all the best places to take photos. I was impressed with his dedication in leading us up a very rainy mountain in terrible conditions

I contacted Paul about delivering a bespoke 2 day course for me to meet my needs. Paul put together a package that was perfect for me, I learnt so much and I would highly recommend speaking with Paul if you want to advance your photography/ videography skills.

Spent a fantastic afternoon on a 1-2-1 Photography course. Paul was the perfect host and for me the ideal teacher. He quickly recognised my current skill level and provided all the tools I needed to improve my images. We spent 4 hours talking, learning and practicing skills in one of the most beautiful locations in the Country. I could not recommend him enough. I'll certainly share his details with all my photo colleagues. Thank you for an absolutely wonderful afternoon. Now, down to putting new skills to use!

I went of the Video & Filmmaking course with Paul and it was brilliant! I have been developing my photography and videography skills but needed some extra help to refine them and make sure what I was doing was correct.

Pauls insightful knowledge and wealth of experience made the day fun and so beneficial. It was packed full of such amazing information. he really helped build my confidence and put my skills in to practise in the area of work I need it.

Myself and a friend travelled to Cornwall to do Paul's videography course. The 4 hour trip was 100% worth it. The whole day was really good fun and we came away with a huge amount of knowledge ready to put into practice. I would 100% recommend!

Paul deserves more than 5 stars - He is without doubt the best photography teacher I have ever encountered. Very patient and understanding. He has the ability of explaining each process in a way that makes it very understandable and simple to grasp.

In the past I felt as though I was groping my way through a difficult maze and getting frustrated for not grasping the process of the camera.
An afternoon with Paul gave me confidence that I was not stupid, it was just that it had never been explained to me in such an easy and transparent way before.

A really enjoyable morning gaining the knowledge and confidence to stop using all the auto features on my camera.
The session was relaxed and tailored to my particular learning needs. It was a great combination of theoretical learning which was reinforced by lots of practical application to help really cement the information.

After filming guitar videos on my iPhone for over a year I decided to take the plunge and buy myself a professional camera. I soon realised I had no idea how to use it and found Pauls website on google.

I booked the videography course with Paul and spent the day with him learning about Shutter Speed, Aperture, ISO and how to use the camera properly.

Paul is amazing at explaining complicated subjects in a simplified way that makes it easy it to understand. He's also incredibly friendly and his passion for photography and videography shines through in his teaching style.

I can highly recommend booking a course with Paul if you're looking to improve your photography, videography or general lighting skills/techniques!

An overall great experience. Paul was friendly, reassuring and very helpful during the entire surf photography session. He advised on positioning in order to get as many waves as possible and was very supportive throughout. The photos he captured were amazing, it was great to see myself trying out a few small turns. I will definitely be getting him again next time the waves are firing.

Had a one to one Beginner Photography Masterclass with Paul. Masterclass describes it perfectly. Paul obviously loves sharing his knowledge of photography. The course was very much tailored to my needs. It was presented in a very easy to understand format along with handouts for future reference. A very informative theory session followed by a practical session at a local estuary and beach. I now feel confident to take my camera out of "Auto" mode and use it to do what I want. I highly recommend Paul to anybody wishing to improve their photography skills.

Paul was super friendly and easy to get along with. Made me feel comfortable in front of the camera and not awkward, great experience for my first time in Newquay! Thank you again
