I honestly can’t thank PayPlan enough for what they’ve done for me.
I got myself into nearly £9,000 of debt with an American Express (Amex) credit card. It was my first time ever having a credit card, and I didn’t fully understand how it worked. The interest quickly built up, and in a panic, I took out a loan to try and clear it, which only made things worse with even more interest.
That’s when I found PayPlan, and I reached out feeling completely overwhelmed. From the very first conversation, they made me feel welcome, calm, and reassured that everything was going to be okay. That alone meant a lot at the time.
They helped freeze the interest and set up an affordable monthly payment plan that actually worked for me. Every member of staff I spoke to was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring. I even offered to buy them flowers over the phone because of how much they helped me. That’s how supported I felt.
Whether it was through calls, emails, or letters, they were always polite, helpful, and reassuring throughout the whole process.
Today, I can finally say my debt is completely cleared, £0.00, and I feel like a new person.
PayPlan truly deserve so much praise. Thank you again for everything you’ve done for me.
I spoke to Mel and Laura today, between them both they advised me through my income and outgoings and came up with a realistic plan to pay off my debts. I will no longer dread opening post and knocks on yhe door. Big weight off my shoulders. Thankyou

A few days later, I received a call from a very kind lady Paula Alvares. She explained with great communication skills, and excellent tone of voice how the new arrangement would work. In the end, I decieded to carry on with my current plan and she then decided to complete my review.
During the process, I explained my health issues and challenges with her. She was understanding, showed huge empathy, and was patient during the duration of the call.
She is a great asset to PayPlan or any organisation.

My experience with Pay Plan has been nothing short of appalling. Every interaction has felt like a battle just to get basic answers. They consistently dodge direct questions, give obstructive responses, and make the entire process far more stressful than it needs to be.
The way some staff speak to customers is downright unacceptable — rude, dismissive, and condescending, as if you’re an inconvenience for daring to ask for clarity. To make matters worse, they’ve even addressed me by the wrong name, which shows a complete lack of attention or professionalism.
It’s painfully obvious they don’t read previous messages. I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve been asked the same questions or sent the same copy‑and‑paste replies that ignore everything I’ve already explained. It feels like they’re not even trying.
These repeated failures have destroyed any trust I had in them to manage my IVA properly. I’ve now cancelled my IVA and will not be paying another penny into a plan run by a company that treats people this poorly.
Based on my experience, I strongly advise others to think twice before using Pay Plan.

She explained everything clearly & thoroughly & went above & beyond throughout the call. I cannot recommend her/the company enough if this is the service they provide. I will go to bed tonight feeling like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders & significant progress has been made about a situation I have been dreading. Thank you again to Ellie, I couldn't be more grateful!

Usually I don't understand everything and my anxiety at times is crippling I often have to hang up and then worry about having to phone again. It was a lengthly phone call but very much worth it he was so understanding. I now feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders I see a light at the end of the tunnel and for that I'll be so very grateful 🙏

I spoke with a lady called tash, she was very help and supportive with the on going situation I’m in. Advised me to change what my plan was which was best for me. Nothing was too much trouble for her. Would defiantly recommend speaking to tash, she made me feel at ease and I wasn’t alone.

Sam was amazing from start to finish with everything I had in mind he answered every question and I’ve never felt more at ease than I have today I’ve tried many debt helplines and I’ve never succeeded as they’re way to complicated but I didn’t do anything other than speak everything else was done for me and I genuinely feel like I’m going somewhere and finally going to be debt free not only that I had advice explained and sent to me for future help with staying on top of bills it was an over all amazing experience

Today I had the most understanding and helpful member of staff helping me with my plan. Not only did they want to get the plan correct but they took the time to make sure I had the right support in place and showed genuine concern for my wellbeing and just asking a couple of questions made me feel less anxious and at ease. They have helped alleviate a lot of stress and worries and I am so thankful that they have gone above and beyond what I expected.
