We used Peak at the end of 2025 to remove a window and replace it with a sliding door at the rear of our home. The job also involved removing and blocking up the old back door, making good interior and exterior walls and building steps outside the new back door.

Having initially requested a price to supply and fit the new door, Peak informed us that they could do the whole job. They stressed that they regularly do jobs of this nature and that they could complete the job in 2-3 days. Happy enough we decided to proceed and, against our better judgement, we met their demands for payment in full before the works commenced.

Mid November 2025, materials arrived on time and the job began as agreed. Day one went well. The new door was of good quality and installed promptly but the builders failed to turn up on day two or three. After the weekend the builders returned to remove and block up the old back door. This is when our problems began. The quality of the work was of such a low standard it was dangerous!!!

To begin, the blocks in the old doorway were arranged in two vertical columns and not offset. The blocks were not tied off anywhere to the existing structure of the house. Instead of mortar the builder used expanding foam between courses of blocks and to fill the gaps between new and existing walls. Even still we were left with a number of large holes in this new block work. From the outside it was obvious that the wall was bowing out as it was being built and in places the blocks were sticking out further than the existing exterior plasterwork.

I spoke to the builder about our concerns at the beginning of day three and questioned if he had the necessary skills to complete the job. He assured me that he would rectify the issues. He did not. He couldn't finish the exterior plaster work and the internal plastering was of such a poor quality that it began to crack immediately when drying out.

There were very obvious faults with almost everything aspect of the job. They neglected to use a finishing trowel on the concrete steps outside the door, leaving us with a dangerous trip hazard. The concrete cill outside the new door immediately started to crack and break away. The reveals around the door are so badly finished it looks as if they were done by a bare hand.

It's as if the builder didn't have the very basic tools, levels, trowels etc., to finish the job properly.

I contacted Peak with my concerns, sent them images and requested that somebody from Peak come out to inspect the work. A few days later a "Director" from Peak visited our house and agreed that work was of such a poor standard that it would have to be taken down and redone. He also promised to email a full outline of remedial works required. I have yet to receive this email.

After a couple of days we were contacted by a third party builder representing Peak Windows to carry out the remedial works. He visited our home to inspect the job and told us he would be in touch to organise a start date.

As of April 2026 there have been no remedial works carried out and we are now in a situation where we have had to make alternative arrangements to get our home back to an acceptable and safe standard. It is also worth mentioning that during that period we had just one follow up call from Peak to inquire about the status of the outstanding works.

After this experience I would advise anyone who is considering using Peak Windows to AVOID them at all costs. Customer care is non existent, they greatly exaggerate their ability to complete works, employ cowboys but most importantly they did, without any conscience, take our money, damaged our home and left us to fix the mess they left behind!!!!

We got our back door fitted last Thursday a very special thanks to Derek and gareth great father and son team great people from Susan and Ciara in Tyrrelstown Dublin 15.

Have found them super to deal with, I got a endurance front door for the front of my home in dublin 7, and french patio doors to replace the sliding patio door which had been there for at least 20 years. the price was compeditive the quality unreal, and it has transformed the heat in the house.

Decided to treat my elderly sister with new windows. Really disappointed with the level of service and visibility around installation and payments. When they forget to mute you properly you can hear the horrible way they speak of their customers. Plenty of profanity in the background also. Staff approach you in the showroom in a tracksuit. Delays in installation, one window frame badly scratched. Not a pleasant experience. Wouldn't recommend, very unprofessional. I'd never use again. Got her a new front door from Fairco, very professional experience, highly recommend.

Ordered from Sinead in June and had my windows & doors installed in September. Absolutely delighted with them. The lads installing them were brilliant and very tidy. Very impressed with the quality. I had to order a further window for another project in the house and again Sinead was fantastic to deal with. She knows her stuff and I would highly recommend Sinead & Peak Windows

I ordered & paid in full for a door earlier this year which was installed in July. They installed the wrong door & I immediately contacted them. This has still not been sorted out. We had nothing but problems trying to lock the front door even being forced to leave it unopened overnight on two occasions. I am still trying to get things resolved with them. Very disappointed with how they have handled this matter.

Many thanks to Martin, Keith and all the team at peak windows and doors for their outstanding service from start to finish. I had 16 windows and 3 doors replaced and I cannot recommend them highly enough. From my first meeting with Keith from the sales team who explained my options and completed the order, he checked in with me throughout the process and on completion.
Martin was fantastic, extremely experienced and professional and also continued communication throughout the process and afterwards to ensure I was happy with the completed work.
The installation team were excellent, punctual, courteous and left the house immaculate.
Most importantly I cannot believe the difference it’s made in the temperature of my home. I give this company an all their staff a 5* rating and wish Martin, Eric and all the team continued and well deserved success.

Bernie, in sales, was so knowledgeable about their product, and outlined the benefits of their windows and what separates them from the competition. Although they weren’t the cheapest price, they were very competitive and it was Bernie’s expertise that made us so comfortable going with Peak. Sonny and Barry installed the windows and their workmanship was excellent. Considering the work involved, I was pleasantly surprised with how little damage was done around the window surrounds. They also cleaned up after themselves. We are very happy with the results. I would definitely recommend Peak.

Little to say but I had a super experience, which says a lot. Hired Peak to install new high energy glass into my extension. Install was done in about two weeks after we did the deal. All was done perfectly and the new glass really makes a difference keeping the extension warmer. Well done to them and would use them again.

Damian from Peak Windows arrived on schedule and replaced large front window panel which had shattered. Very professional , friendly, polite and tidy. My experience with Peak Windows for the installation of a new front door side panel and toplight has been nothing short of a nightmare. This company has displayed an astonishing level of incompetence and disregard for their customers. I initially chose Peak Windows based on their supposedly positive reputation and reviews, but this experience has been far from positive.
Here's the condensed version of my ordeal:
- The scheduled installation date on 29/05/2023 was a complete disaster. The porch was left unfinished due to poor time management, and the promised rescheduling never happened. I had paid a total of €4,725 on the day of Installation, they will not proceed unless this is paid.
- On 01/06/2023, I called to inquire when the job would be finished and reported the glass in the side panel was stained and needed replacing.
- On 19/06/2023, the surveyor disclosed that he could only skim the reveals, and the extended area wouldn't be plastered. When he returned to complete the job, he had the wrong glass and couldn't finish the installation. This continued and they returned on 4 more occasions with the wrong glass.
- Internal communication at Peak Windows is abysmal. I was asked to pay the retention balance without their knowledge of the glass panel replacement.
- To add insult to injury, the owner responded to my legitimate concerns by suggesting that the glass fitted was correct and I was being unreasonable, and not interested in taking responsibility and trying to pass it over to their glass supplier.
- To top it all off, the representative from the glass supplier confirmed that the glass installed in the side panel was not the same as the door and toplight, and they could no longer source it. After weeks of persistence, miraculously managed to "source" the correct glass, but it took an excruciating three months.
Despite these egregious issues, Peak Windows aggressively pushing for the final payment of €275, originally intended as retention to be paid only when the customer is fully satisfied that the job has been completed to an acceptable standard. I made the payment after being threatened with a solicitor and withholding of the guarantee on my door.
In short, dealing with Peak Windows has been a profoundly frustrating and inconvenient ordeal, and their lack of accountability is truly appalling. I strongly caution anyone considering this company for their window and door needs to think twice and explore more reliable and professional options. Peak Windows has failed in every aspect of customer service and professionalism.

Warning! The service provided by this windows and door company was appalling, My experience with them was nothing short of horrendous, and I strongly advise anyone to stay away.

Upon visiting their showroom in Swords, I met with a sales advisor to discuss my requirements for a front door, two light panels, three front windows, and a landing window. He agreed to come out to my home the next day to take measurements and provide a quote. Despite eventually lowering his initial high price, it remained above my budget. I received quotes from other competitors, with one offering the same product for a lower price and including the landing window. The Peak sales advisor called me a few days later and asked me, "If price wasn't an issue, who would you go with?" I replied that I would choose them because of their informative initial meeting. He then agreed to match the lower price and include the landing window.

However, after transferring the deposit, I noticed that the sales document did not include the landing window, which was the unique selling point of the deal. The sales advisor claimed that the landing window was not included and used sneaky tactics to misalign the deliverables to secure a deposit. I immediately requested a refund, which he agreed to provide via cheque, but then ghosted me for over a week. When I contacted the office, they claimed to be unaware of the refund request until I expressed my concerns, and only then did they issue the cheque.

I eventually decided to go with a competitor who was cheaper, more professional, and included many of the items that Peak windows and doors added as a premium. I strongly advise others to stay away. Any response from them blaming the situation on a misunderstanding or placing blame on the customer for not aggressively reviewing documents would only further confirm their substandard practices.

If i could give this company a billion stars I would. they are literally amazing and completely fabulous. they literally went out of their way to help. Usually it takes two months to get the window in. My bedroom was like an icebox cause my window was cracked and the window didnt open. at first I waited for them to come. but it was impossible for me to sleep in there so I was sleeping on the sofa. so I was on to Bobbi ( who is a wonderful girl) i told her what happened and i was nearly in tears. so she pushed up the time i would get the window.. CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT???? A company that acutally cares for people and has complete compassion??? she is a total angel. they were extremely professional. they kept in contact with me all through the process so i knew exactly everything that was going on. the first person i talked to was eric what total fun character he laughed and said that i could carry the window up the stairs myself. I broke me heart laughing. Hes so lovely. also there was shay who came up to measure the window and show me exactly what i was getting. Hes a very sweet man and then david came up to look at my window to see if you could do something for me before the actual window went in to see if he could seal it for me. He was so lovely too. and then the fella called James to put the window in for me. He was EXTREMELY professional very friendly and really helpful.. i couldnt recommend this company more. In short Professional Kind compassionate. the window is amazing. its a twist and turn one. and for the first time in a very long time I will be able to sleep in there. THANKS PEAK WINDOWS..
