Unauthorised Access to Storage Unit by Manager - Disabled Customer. Please do not use this company!
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am extremely disappointed with the way my account has been handled and wish to make a formal complaint.
I am disabled and have a physical impairment which significantly limits my ability to remove the contents of the storage unit myself. I have already explained my circumstances, yet there has been a complete lack of communication, understanding and reasonable consideration of my disability.
The current situation relates to my late sister’s belongings, which has been extremely distressing. Being told that I must remove everything before my cancellation can be processed, without any meaningful discussion about my circumstances or any reasonable adjustments, has caused me significant stress and has had a serious impact on my health. The level of stress has become so severe that I am on the verge of being hospitalised again.
I am also concerned that I was not provided with clear information regarding the introductory rate and the implications of using it previously. The lack of transparency and communication has left me in a very difficult position.
In addition, I wish to raise a complaint regarding the conduct of your manager, Craig. I found his manner to be rude, dismissive and lacking empathy. His approach has only added to the distress I have experienced.
As a disabled customer, I expect your company to comply with its obligations under the Equality Act 2010 by considering reasonable adjustments rather than applying your standard policy without regard to my disability.
I am also making a formal Subject Access Request under the UK General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018. Please provide me with copies of all personal data you hold about me, including but not limited to:
* All emails, letters and correspondence.
* Internal notes relating to my account.
* Telephone recordings and transcripts.
* Copies of all complaints and complaint handling records.
* Staff notes and internal communications referring to me.
* CCTV footage, where I am identifiable and where available.
* My account history and payment records.
Please treat this email as both my formal complaint and my Subject Access Request. I expect acknowledgement of both within the required timescales.
I ask that you urgently review my case, consider appropriate reasonable adjustments in light of my disability, and respond with a fair resolution rather than continuing to apply charges without addressing the circumstances I have repeatedly explained.

We acknowledge receipt of both your formal complaint and your Subject Access Request (SAR). Your SAR has been forwarded to our Data Protection team, who will respond within the statutory timescales under the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.
With regard to your complaint, we have reviewed your account and would like to clarify a number of points.
Firstly, we acknowledge the personal circumstances you have described and understand that dealing with storage arrangements can be difficult. However, throughout your tenancy we have applied our standard terms and conditions consistently.
Our records show that the account was opened in your own name using your own identification and personal details. At the time of sign-up, the account holder was confirmed as yourself. We were later informed that the unit was intended for your sister; however, this information was not provided when the agreement was entered into.
We have also identified that additional accounts were opened using your details while an existing tenancy remained active. As outlined in our promotional terms and conditions, introductory offers are available to new customers and are not intended to be used repeatedly by the same account holder.
Regarding the cancellation request, our records show that a cancellation was submitted confirming that the unit had been emptied. Following a routine inspection, it was found that the contents remained inside the unit and the key had not been returned. In accordance with our cancellation procedure, the tenancy therefore remained active and storage charges continued to apply until the unit was vacated in line with the agreement.
You have also raised concerns regarding the conduct of myself. We have reviewed the correspondence held on file. While we acknowledge that discussions became difficult, we are satisfied that all communication from our staff remained professional and focused on explaining the account status, the applicable terms and the available options. Unfortunately, during these exchanges, abusive and offensive language was directed towards me and members of my team, which is not acceptable. We remain committed to treating all customers with respect and expect the same courtesy to be shown towards our employees.
In relation to your comments regarding the Equality Act 2010, we take our obligations seriously and consider requests for reasonable adjustments on an individual basis. However, reasonable adjustments do not remove contractual obligations or permit inaccurate cancellation declarations. Where assistance is requested, we are happy to discuss appropriate options within the scope of our policies.
Your complaint will continue to be reviewed through our formal complaints procedure, and a final response will be issued once that review has concluded.

This is probably the best storage facility in West Midlands. Did not expect a kind gesture of bottled water and goodies waiting for us in the container as you open door. The storage container was clean and smelled fresh and welcoming. The site is fully automated and clean. Offering proper privacy and security. It's out of this world! Best of all for such a pristine quality storage they offer the cheapest prices in the industry hands down for a 160 ft container. Affordable and quick to book online. I really recommend you try this first before going anywhere else for your storage solution. Totally awesome!

Had an issue but Pink repaid all
Had a problem where i was being charged for 2 units as i did enquire about a second but my wife rented it on her account, tried to contact Pink storage several ways without success, eventually stopped the payments and Pink communicated with me.
A glitch in the payments, HOWEVER Pink returned all the money immediately, and was very nice about it, i do recommend Pink Storage especially for 'short term' stoage

Constantly increasing prices every couple of weeks. Im now paying quadruple from when I first started paying less than 6 months ago and as it’s a rolling contract they get away with it . Don’t get scammed like me for there no frills service and over charging people .

Booking the unit was easy.
When we arrived it was very clean and there were 2 bottles of water and 2 packs of haribo sweets waiting inside, which I thought was a really nice touch. The units are secure with cctv and a gate that is accessed by number plate recognition.
Over all very impressed.
