Pizza Express, River House, York Y01 7DJ - As a coeliac, it's so lovely to be spoilt for choice regarding the menu. We were staying in York for the weekend of 8 Sept 2023 and were recommended this particular restaurant after another branch were full on Sat 9 Sept - we weren't disappointed. Our server Ryan couldn't do enough to make us feel special and nothing was too much trouble - unfortunately a lot of places look upon coeliacs as being a nuisance - not this place and certainly not Ryan - he's a credit to the business

Pizza express East Grinstead fooling people with magic bag.
Just to waste your time what you are spending on paying and getting to the place.
Than telling you all type of justifications and explanations, laughing in your face and leave you hungry...at 22:15, when everything is already closed.
They have told me, that they thrown away already everything.
After they knew that they sold magic bag they have to give.
Intentionally not giving your magic bag.
Always remember, when want to buy a magic bag.
They going to tell you, that you can discuss with the manager tomorrow.
...but who on earth does care when you are hungry now.
...and who cares about a refund when you hungry.
Careless manager and careless staff.

Very slow, the people after me got their food 20 minutes before myself. The food was delicious though.

Ordered a takeaway. One of the dishes ordered was missing so I phoned within an hour to ask for this to be refunded. I was told I had to ring the next day. When I did this I was told I had to send an email. There was no attempt to say it was their mistake, it rather felt like it was mine & I was a nuisance. I was told they couldn't refund me but on receipt of an email they would send me a voucher. Ive had no response at all. Very poor customer service.

I ordered a take away pizza it was cold. The ceasar salad had no dressing! Sloppy sloppy sloppy

ungenießbar habe telefonisch reklamiert
mir wurde nur gesagt das gehört so.
Nie mehr werde ich bei Pizza Express was bestellen.
Geschweige denn weiter empfehlen dass ist eine Frechheit.

Visited Skipton branch.Waited for over one hour for our pizzas and when they arrived one of them was 50% burnt. Lemonade was flat. Waitress never checked with us to see if everything was ok and had to wait at the door to pay the bill. No discount offered and just an apology. Really spoilt our daughters birthday treat

Pizza Express in the Kingston Rotunda - Siyeon was the perfect server; she was very polite, helpful, and overall extremely friendly.

Das war ja wohl das das letzte was wir gestern geliefert bekommen haben..Pizza staubtrocken..Pommes nicht essbar..Jägersosse beim Schnitzel total versalzen..hab mich für so einen Mist bei meinen Gästen echt geschämt..wusste leider nicht das es einen neuen Besitzer gibt..nie wieder

Pizza Express in Newark
Lovely very attentive waitress called Rosie.
Tasty starters (chicken wings and dough balls with cheese) followed by pizza and cannelloni.
All cooked excellent by Chef Chloe
I recommend the place.

Went to the Manchester one near Arndale Centre. Polite staff. Quick service. Nice food. Bit pricey tbh especially the raw slaw for such a small portion. Everything else v nice

Waited for an hour for our pizza. No excuse no explanation.
Should change their name to pizza not express

We were ignored at the door for 5 minutes. Then taken to a table, which we booked. Clear lack of leadership here, nobody took order for food and drinks for 15 minutes.
Resteraunt cluttered and untidy, surpless boxes and take out equipment stored on the floor, underneath a table. Windowsills packed with this stock also. Should not be visible to the customer.
Same young lady that served us seemed to be doing everything!!!!!

Unfortunately there isn’t a no star option.

Went to Pizza Express Piccadilly Gardens for dinner the night before I was due to run Manchester Marathon, my wife and I had travelled from Edinburgh and had the same thing for breakfast and the same Subway for lunch but had different dinners here, my wife had the Pollo Pesto Pasta which she has had before.

My wife was quite ill about 4 hours after our meal at Pizza Express she was violently throwing up for a number of hours which meant being awake to look after her so missed doing the Marathon.
Spoke to the manager on the Monday as my wife was in no fit state to leave the hotel room on the Sunday and he was nice enough and said he’d investigate.

We Contacted Pizza Express customer service ourselves and pretty much go nowhere and they have denied it was anything to do with them, I was offered a £20 gift card which I’ve refused as we will never eat in a Pizza Express again.

Big shout to Caitlin who waited us and was so helpful,
Food was nice we really enjoyed it, and the service was great.
Will visit again,

Sehr freundlicher Service, schnell, eher günstoig, lecker, würde nochmals bei Ihnen bestellen, haben sogar ein Dessert kostenlos dazu erhalten

We have been regular visitors to the pizza express for many years and have always found the food and service good.However on our visit yesterday,in spite of the food inflation, that prices have been increased out of all proportion.Two pizzas ,one pudding,two soft drinks ana a coffee came to £50.For example a small coca cola £4.45.We will not be visiting again.

Sehr nettes Personal, wir hatten Nudeln, die waren sehr gut, Preis - Leistung super. Und Öffnungszeiten wie es ausgeschrieben steht. Macht nicht wie Andere vorher zu.

Really great service and food every time

Pizza Express, (Cirencester). Staff were very friendly and helpful. we were even allowed to pick are own table which was good.
Prices were rather high.
