Poles Direct Reviews

Pretty cheaply made pole with a vinyl type of ‘oak’ finish. Presumably made in China?

Do not use this company if you want to have the reassurance of great customer service. I called to ask for help when their delivery partner, DX Express, failed to deliver on 3 separate occasions. It was the usual “sorry we missed me … we left a calling card” situation, when this was blatantly untrue. They were sympathetic on the phone, said they’d get in touch with DX, and that I’d receive the order the next day. I asked them to keep me updated which they promised to do. No contact whatsoever and a follow up email was ignored. Needless to say, I didn’t receive the poles the next day. When they did arrive 6 brackets were missing from the order. A call later and they promised to send them by Royal Mail - tracked 48 - as their system couldn’t book tracked 24! No follow up whatsoever, a further email was ignored. Eventually they were delivered by DX Express, who we specifically asked them not to use given the problems we’d had with this company. In summary, the poles are great and as expected but the entire customer service experience fell very short.

Chloe was very helpful, Lucy was also - but was the 4th time I'd had to call due to the processes your side being appauling

All very satisfactory thank you.

Fast efficient service, easy to place an order and the goods arrived as advised and intact. I would definitely recommend Poles Direct.

Good quality product, easy to put up and they look good

All round great service, thanks.

Quick delivery

great love it

The curtain rail I bought recently must be about the fifth I've had from Poles Direct, all of them metal and using the Allure mounting brackets which are so easy to fit. Quality is excellent and they come well packed. My repeat business testifies to how pleased I've been with their products and service

First time used Poles Direct. We were looking for a wooden curtain pole that did not cost an arm and leg. Ordered Sunday, delivered Thursday. Excellent service. Pole was good quality and did the job. Would recommend this company.

Excellent product, delivered promptly.

Easy to navigate site and competitvely priced product which arrived in perfect order and looks fantastic.
The carrier used for delivery was exceptional.
They gave a delivery time slot and rang 10mins ahead of delivery cheerful and friendly person.A high standard indeed.

Brass pole was as described. Everything needed to put it up was supplied including screws and plugs. It looks good.

Very good company, easy to deal with. We had a problem where DX delivered part of our order. Absolutely fine but DHL failed to find the address, I spoke with Ellis who was incredibly helpful and managed to sort everything out quickly for me.

Great pole - better than expected. Amazing value.

Fantastic product and good communication.
