However money taken and getting regular sales emails so they have me on their system somewhere. Hamper never arrived. Called twice on 30th, a woman who is just there to pick up calls, she doesn't work for them, said she would email customer services urgently. Nothing. I tried live chat. Nothing. I emailed directly. Still nothing. Apparently they respond within 24 hours. Not. Absolutely gutted about the gift and my money. I will be calling my bank to see if I can get my money back. Don't bother with the company.

I haven't tried the cheese myself but what I can say is their customer service is phenomenal. Lightning fast responses and super helpful.

Great cheese turns up regularly but not too often, something to look forward to.
The cheeses are delicious and I always get different ones. I was able to specify no blue or goat's cheeses which I don't eat. The delivery is prompt and well packaged every month and I look forward to each one.

So - Pong Cheese Monthly Cheese club. Signed up and instantly regretted it. I thought I would bet able to choose my own cheeses as I love smelly and blue cheeses. The moment I signed up they, I guess a bot, chose my cheeses to send me. I paid £32.00 for the following. Le Fin Terroir Camembert available online for £4. Blacksticks Blue - Available in Sainsbury's for £3 - Oakwood Smoked Cheddar available online for £6 (I hate smoked cheese) and a revolting ash covered monstrosity called Coeur Du berry which even left in the warm for 24 Hrs has no other flavour than the ash covering it available online for £6 - In all £19 retail price - absolute rip off - such a shame as I love great strong cheese which they clearly have available. Cancelled ..
Received a box as a Christmas present and it hit the spot. The guys at Pong clearly know their cheese. Our box included cheeses from selected French suppliers, as well as UK sourced blue cheeses. Pong's self-named Cheddar from the west country being the pick of the bunch.
No faults with delivery, all arrived fresh. Would highly recommend!

Will never order from this company again. Sent me goods not as advertised. Cheese was showing in stock and so order went through, money taken and product arrived. Item arrived and was told what I originally ordered out of stock so have this instead? I immediately contacted them numerous times on the phone and 2 emails to ask what I should do with this cheese as it’s not what I ordered.
Have had no response to multiple phone messages left and emails since 24th December and no refund as requested. This company do not care, will take your money and hope you will settle for different product sent. Not easy to contact and no response from anyone. Very poor customer service
Not as we ordered, substitute cheese sent. Two cheeses had two pieces in the box and one was Red Leicester. Phoned the contact number on website, the lady said she would inform customer services and they would phone back, no call received.
I used Pong for a 2023 Chistmas delivery and it was perfect.
For Christmas 2025 however, Pong replaced most of the cheese in one of the boxes I had spent time personally selecting with supermarket cheese.
My request for for an explanation on 23rd December remains unanswered.
I will return to the Fine Cheese Co for 2026 where the selection is not as good but at least you receive what you ordered.

I placed a cheese order for Christmas which arrived on 23rd December. Pong could not supply all of the order (which I understand) but sent three identical cheeses as replacements so I had four identical cheeses for my cheeseboard. I wish they had contacted me to enable me to make an alternative choice. So far all phone calls, emails and requests for a refund are being ignored. I will never order from them again.
I would have given this company no stars if it had been an option. Placed an order on 17/12/25 for Vacherin Mont D'Or cheese. It was out of stock everywhere else but Pong cheese said in stock. Order confirmed.
20/12/25 I received an email confirming dispatch of said item.
23/12/25 order arrived and I was annoyed to find that the Vacherin had been substituted for another similar cheese due to Vacherin being out of stock. I emailed the same day to complain and ask for a refund and for the other cheese to be collected as I did not want it.
24/12/25 no reply from Pong so at this point I looked at Trustpilot reviews for them. I sooooo wish I had done this first, there were a lot of reviews complaining about the same thing. I tried ringing Pong only to find that their number was premium rate!!!!!! Disgusting, trying to make more money out of customers, I disconnected as I didn't want to pay the cost. So sent another email instead asking for a refund and pointing out that the dispatch email said they were sending me a Vacherin cheese as ordered, but they had in fact sent a substitute and that they were not supposed to do that without prior consent. Section 75 of the consumer credit act states this. Also the Consumer rights act 2015 states that if you send me a substitute without me agreeing beforehand I can reject it as "not as described"
5/1/26 still no reply from the company. I am fed up with the whole thing, the cheese that was sent was similar to Vacherin, apparently, but not what I ordered and I could quite easily have gone to my excellent local cheese shop ( who had sold out of Vacherin) and bought a similar cheese for far less than Pong cheese charged me.
SO ONCE MORE PONG WILL YOU REPLY TO MY EMAILS PLEASE.
I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE.

So as expected NO one from Pong has bothered to reply to my emails, interestingly looking at the recent Trustpilot reviews for them, they have replied to the good reviews put up in the last 2 weeks, but not the bad ones. Of which there are many.!!!!!!!!!!!
I received the first of 3 deliveries of cheese a few days after Christmas which is absolutely bonkers. Who in their right mind would want to receive a large delivery of cheese, however delicious, straight after Christmas when everyone has overindulged?
What a very very silly mistake and a dreadful waste of cheese. Possibly need to think about the customer and their requirements/enjoyment and not trying to relieve a surfeit of Christmas stock.
What a pity.

Wonderful selection of cheese. Our first visit to Pong and we were spoilt for choice. We chose the Welsh selection for ourselves and the Gourmet and Wallace & Grommet for family and friends. Extremely good cheese. We shall certainly be back for more.

The service was shocking. Ordered several cheeses for a customer for Christmas to be delivered on the 19th Dec its now 31st and no delivery. The only response was it is out for delivery despite the tracker saying otherwise
Order due 23/12/25, never arrived! Impossible to make any genuine contact with Pong, very limited response via either phone or email. Sadly not very interested in providing good customer service. I shall continue my quest for a full refund, last resort contact the credit card company and do it that way. It really shouldn’t be this difficult, simple problem , simple solution.
Was not happy with a last minute unscheduled substitution of my order. Arrived Christmas Eve and was not happy with lack of communication from customer service. However, immediately after Christmas, I emailed company and got immediate response and full refund . So I’m giving them good marks for their after sales service.

So it’s Christmas Eve and the cheese order placed at the beginning of December is nowhere to be seen.
Emailed: no response
Called: ‘we will look into it’. No follow up (I’m sure they looked hard)
Advice: if you are hoping for your delivery to arrive, based on my experience, hope is about as far as it can go.
A missing delivery will one thing, poor customer service is a complete red flag on retailers to avoid and this. From my experience, raised a big red flag.
Let’s see if the refund request is a little smoother.
