For many years i have had my cars serviced,replaced parts and had professional advice on my car to keep it in tip top condition,running soundly and always had my car returned promptly to get back on the road..Puma Build are certainly reliable and professional..

I find they are very unprofessional with their attitude and took them 5 hours to skim 2x front discs while I waited even when I booked an appointment. Had issues with my brakes and thought I’d be looked after instead I was made to feel like an idiot when Alan (owner) kept saying I bought “shite” brakes. Even though they cost me nearly £3k. And kept slating the company who fitted them and calling them f***ing idiots who don’t know how to fit brakes. I know for sure it was fitted correctly as I was shown detailed videos and pics of it being fitted by an RS brake specialist. The issue was the brakes which was a manufacture fault. In the end Alan skimmed the brakes which didn’t work. Messaged them to tell them how I felt and guess what not even an apology. And they removed the video they made of skimming my brakes as it had amassed over 200 comments, after I put a comment on their of the issue I had with the brakes. Only reason I put a comment on their was because Alan making up claims why the brakes needed skimming, I needed to tell people the truth. They didn’t like being slated by others, so they deleted it. Very unprofessional, all I wanted was an apology.

It’s been many years since i visited Pumabuild but they succeeded where a main Ford dealership failed spectacularly! Many thanks to Alan for sticking with my GPS problem (Ford Fiesta ST Line) until he had it fixed with a replacement part and in working order. Fabulous service 😌.

Thanks Puma assist 24/7 Pumabuild got me picked up from road side out of normal business hours and managed all the costs through the third party on my behalf. Many thanks strongly advise to use great job well done thanks alot. 😊 10/10

I had an immobiliser fitted a few months ago and from the initial installation a message appeared saying immobiliser malfunction, I believed this was normal because I didn't know otherwise so I ignored the message, After Changing the pin correctly the immobiliser failed to register the pin and even wiped my old pin so I was stranded, I called puma and let them know and I got told there guys in Germany and there's nothing that can be done, after that I got it sorted myself and messaged the owner Alen to get the money back I had to pay as the units on warranty, seems straightforward enough but Alen decided to push the blame onto me saying I did something wrong and that the device was perfectly fine even though he hasn't seen it!! He proceeds to call me a tool for saying he needs to refund me, there's loads more highly amusing childish talk from the clown too 🤣 This isn't a professional company at all I wouldn't trust them working on my car again and I've got a direct installer to manage my immobiliser so I don't ever have to call puma again!! No wonder they need people to recommend them looking at previous comments 🙄 non existent customer service and part installations on expensive immobilisers and a childish owner if you need to resolve issues! Thank god I didn't let them touch my engine 🙏

I wish I had never set eyes on this place. They just want your money

If I could give -10 I would, I had my exhaust done which was put on wonky, had my engine done, which they was supposed to to strip it down check the liners and stuff, never did, look like they just dropped in another engine without any checks, my rs intercooler wasn't put on the engine, then I had to change the subframe because they over tightened the bolts and threaded them, they where hanging out, as I was driving, so ford put an dangerous vehicle notice on my car so, I couldn't move it from ford I had to pay ford, to put the new subframe on and also two new tyres, they said my brake pipes on the front wasn't done up, so everything they have done has cost me more money to put everything right, they really are a con men company take your money
And its sod you, I still putting things right,2 yrs after they had my car. I'd trust Del boy trotter more.

Don't usually write reviews but just had to leave a note for all to see.......had a Ford Focus ST booked in for a engine rebuild was quoted a fixed price and vehicle was pre booked in to be delivered before 12pm so they could start the work - 4 weeks passed and no contact so i rang them and was told we are behind and there is one more to do then yours will be next - 4 more weeks passed and again no contact so i again called only to be told exactly the same thing yes we have one more before yours then yours is next - another 4 weeks passed with again no contact from this company at all so i had to call and was told just the same thing - i asked have you started anything at all to be told no so i said great just don't bother will get the car collected as was booked in to be started the day it was delivered and now has been 12 weeks with not even a phone call to give me an update - i paid over £400 to have the vehicle delivered to this company then collected again with not even any type of apology or even a single phone call so would just simply not recommend them to anyone for anything - customer service is none existent

If I could give a negative it would be -10. NEVER EVER use this company. They will destroy your car and rip you off and take (steal) what they can. Leaving you with a bigger bill than what you started with, as you have to replace everything they have taken and not return it to the rightful owner.
Their engine build is far from suitable and not up to the speck they say it will be.
As I said at the start NEVER EVER use this company

Worst company to take your car to. Had my car taken thier by third party insurance for back end and they did the worst job possible. Paint work was not done properly, the bumper was not even fitted on properly. Very poor communication, don’t pick up the phone half the time and when they did they said they were goner fix the issue and get back to me and never do. Would never take my car to them ever again. Worst experience ever. Do not use!

A few months back my mk 3 RS focus had a catastrophic engine failure similar to other RS owners experiences.
I was recommended by another top performance specialist company from the North West to have a chat with Alan Farmer at Pumabuild.
I called Pumabuild and had good long chat with him about the 'options' available to me. The option I chose was to go down the forged engine route as there was a possibility if I went with another new Ford engine the same would happen again.
My car was booked in and a transporter came to pick up my car and transfer it down to Walsall...home of Pumabuild
There was a bit of a 'wait' before my car could be assessed and then another delay ( out of Puma builds hands) whilst they chased the components required for my forged engine . A problem with the 'supply chain' caused by the pandemic
Work commenced on my car and the forged engine took shape....with all the components going into it explained and detailed by Alan.
Also at each stage I received a number of photos of the old engine and the new engine installation
The car also needed a few extra bits clutch etc and I decided to go MSD stage 2 and also Hunter wheel alignment
The car was then fully valeted and I arranged to collect it
Initially a couple of issues ( to be expected with new engine set up) experienced which required couple of trips back to Puma build where Alan and Mikey readily available to sort out with no problem.
Now the car runs as 'sweet as' and I am very happy with the outcome
Service very professional and a big thanks to the team...Alan , Mikey , Adam and Phil.
I will now continue taking my car to them even though it is a 4 hr round trip for me as I trust them with the car.

My Mustang has just been returned to Me from Pumabuild, and as expected I could not be happier. Alan and the Guy's have done a fantastic job on the car, and My Beast is back to full health doing Line-Lock Burn Outs and Doughnuts, ...!!!WoooHooo!!!... Like I said in a previous Review!? Pumabuild is a dying breed of tallented and passionate petrol head mechanic's, who really enjoy their job. I live 100 miles away from Pumabuild and would not want to take My Beast anywhere else. If they moved 100 miles further north I would still travel the extra miles as Pumabuild go the extra miles for their customer's. Big thumb ups, could not be happier. Thanks Guy's.

I have used Pumabuild for over a decade now on mine and my wife's cars 3 Focus ST'S and 2 Focus RS's. I wouldn't let anyone else near my cars. Workmanship is excellent, prices are great and a great friendly atmosphere.
The RS engine Alan Farmer built for me has be running 400bhp+ for over 7 years, has been in two of my cars and it is still running strong like the day he fitted it. These guys now their stuff!

Fantastic work and great value for money on my racing Puma, can’t fault the guys and their Hunter tracking machine is an incredible piece of kit the car drives so much better now

Thanks to the amazing Alan Farmer and the rest of the team at PumaBuild my 2016 Ford Mustang S550 was returned to me all the way down in Plymouth with 750 horse power thanks to a Whipple Supercharger.
Along with the Whipple, the guys fitted a GT350 rear spoiler, eibach springs, eibach wheel spacers, painted my wheels and side window frames black, and picked up and delivered my car from and to Plymouth. The car looks awesome.

Like a previous reviewer has said, Alan is a genius. Very professional and the work is second to none.

Possible the best company I have ever had the pleasure of buying from.

A few words I can use to describe what has been done to my old ford RS by Alan at Puma Build Limited... brilliant, superb, outstanding, F%$in Monster!

Alan Farmer is a genius - I own a road going, fire-breathing beast, thanks to Alan and his team for all the efforts expended over the last year to rebuild my RS and make is so much better than before.

I have the best Focus RS in the Midlands, yes I truly do, Alan has worked magic with engineering this 400+ BHP beast. Whatever you do if you have an RS and really need to get things sorted and running like a dream.

Then visit Puma Build they may take some time, you may have to wait to speak to someone, hell you may even have to leave your car and even spend more than you anticipated, but what you get is a motor that embarrasses, most high ticket items on the road.in fact, this car is like me, loads of style and class, kudos, street credibility and a bit of a bruiser

crap service and crap work fitted an intercooler and put it on on the wonk broke horn air filter came off after they fitted same day scratched car oil marks all over it
