The gym overall is really good I…
The gym overall is really good I especially appreciate the separate women’s section, which makes training much more comfortable. The personal trainers are friendly and approachable too.
However, one ongoing issue is that some members don’t put their weights back after use. I actually hit my head on the Smith machine because a 20kg weight was left in the middle of the floor, which was quite painful. It would be great if members could be more considerate and re-rack their weights to keep the space safe and tidy for everyone.

It’s great to hear you enjoy the aspect of having a dedicated women's workout space, we are proud to be able to offer this in some of our gyms. It is in the gym rules that members should return their own weights or risk suspension, but at peak times especially it can be hard to police this. However, staff on site do everything they can while we also have CCTV monitoring the free weights and are looking for new ways to combat this. Thanks, PureGym

The worst gym you can go to.
on one day they had a great offer for 50% off first month + £0 joining fee and then when I come to apply the offer no longer exists.
I wasn't able to get a student discount either which was an even bigger scam.
PureGym has some shit machines which half of are already broken. PureGym haven't got that much machines as other gyms would have, they don't have boxing bags either or anything like that.
The prices are so expensive it's absolutely not worth it, I'm just going because I don't really have any other choices.
The gym also has something called peak hour. YOU ARE BLESSED if u manage to find a machine to workout on because the chances are absolutely low.

it was so relaxed
it was so relaxed, such a great environment, didn’t feel too stressed like i have at other gyms, great equipment. few weights randomly put across the place but i know that is the members not the gyms fault

Unsafe and they don’t care
Exposed electrical wiring reported in the men’s changing rooms hairdryer over a month ago by another member who waited a month and then resorted to leaving a scathing review about it, still nothing done and an accident waiting to happen. Will it take for someone to be electrocuted before anyone bothers???
Even the equipment is often left with unsafe,loose fixtures, error messages and weeks later nothing is done. Completely irresponsible and unsafe.

Sana was a really apprachable and…
Sana was a really apprachable and dedictaed PT, always takimg alot time to get to know my goals for fitness jounrey and ensuring it was achineved..by putting the right fitness plan in place and basing exericsises around it, to making sure diet was also clean to optomise best results. Very kind and lovely PT puts alot of dedication in to her job.

They need to put time limits on using the equipment
Its clean and they have lots of equipment. But the ladies uses the e.g the treadmill sometimes for more than an hour which is not convenient for ladies who have only morning to go gym. Most time i end up not using the treadmill or the other equipment because of other ladies being selfish.

PT- Sanaa
i have PT sessions with Sanaa and go to her ladies only classes which i find very useful and motivating. Shes lovely- very friendly and ensures you feel comfortable. Really enjoy my sessions with her and feel like I’m a step closer to my goals with her plan. Definitely recommend for others

Staff do undertake regular maintenance checks and work hard with our facilities providers to ensure that our facilities are fixed as soon as possible, if any should be broken. We are equally as disappointed when this happens and sometimes need to wait on engineers but will have all equipment in full working order as soon as is safely possible. If you have any concerns about equipment, please notify staff on site as soon as you can. Thanks, PureGym.
Woman’s only side is lacking.
I love going to the gym. The environment there is good and it is always clean and the air isn’t stuffy. However the woman’s only section doesn’t have a lot of the equipment that most other gyms have. Perhaps it is in the mixed section but it would be nice if they had a toilet, water fountain and some more equipment in the woman’s only side.
