We do our very best to provide a wide range of classes, so that members have a variety of ways to workout and also do so, in a short amount of time, as we understand some members are crunched for time or just prefer shorter (but effective) workouts. It’s great to hear such positive feedback regarding one of our PT's and how they have made a positive impact on your fitness journey so far. I paid for a buddy to accompany me
I paid for a buddy to accompany me, and they were unable to gain access to the gym. We tried looking for staff but there were none available at the time- ended up not getting a work out done and having to leave.

It is in the gym rules that members should not bring bags or large items onto the gym floor, but at peak times especially it can be hard to police this. However, staff on site do everything they can while we also have CCTV monitoring the free weights and are looking for new ways to combat this. Thanks, PureGym
Serious Safety Issues at PureGym Burnham Car Park
I went to the Burnham PureGym on Thursday night and parked just by the entrance. After finishing my workout, I returned to find my car had been broken into the passenger window was shattered.
I emailed the gym requesting CCTV footage for insurance purposes and only received a reply three days later. The response was essentially, “Sorry to hear about your car being broken into. We can only send CCTV footage to the police, who have to request it from us directly with a DPA form.”
What makes this more concerning is that when I spoke to other people about the incident, almost everyone had their own story about either a break-in or a car being stolen at this gym. That’s very sad to hear and shows a recurring issue.
While I understand procedures around CCTV, I believe gyms have a responsibility to protect their members and their property while they’re on site. Better lighting, security presence, or even proactive communication about these risks could make a real difference

I wanted delay my joining for 1th. of October,but the system didn’t leave it…..and at the payment they want to give my long card numbers and the security code too,and after ask my account number and sort code .So they want my all bank details ,that a bit very strange!!

In the 'Customise' section of the joining process, you will have the option to delay your start date by up to one month. If you are also using a promotional code, you will only be able to delay your start date by up to 7 days. You are not able to change your start date if your membership has already started. During sign up, your card details are taken for the initial card payment, and sort code / account number are taken to set up a direct debit for the monthly payments going forward. Loving my experience at PureGym
Loving my experience at PureGym. Danielle’s yoga class is pure magic - I walk out feeling like the queen of calm. Spin with George? Brutal in the best way. I can never hit the RPMs he calls out, but I’m pushing harder each time. His music is always on point too. James brings full energy and fun into his spin class - you can't help but smile (even while sweating buckets).
But honestly? What makes it truly special are the people. The members. Always greeting you with a smile. That warm, low-key vibe you don’t expect at a gym. Keeps me coming back.

Honest opinion of a 42 year old gym newbie
I was very nervous of stepping foot in a gym. I have lost over 14 stone and was new to any kind of movement. In November I decided I would use my corporate membership and attend one Yoga session on a Monday night. From the moment I walked In Danielle Barrett out me totally at my ease and gave me one of the best bits of advise I have ever received. She said 'don't worry about anyone else here they were all once beginners too, one day you'll be where they are'. As someone who could barely reach their toes at the time this single bit of advice as she welcomed me into the group has literally changed my life (as cheesy as it sounds) I now come to the gym 5 days a week and participate in double classes whoever I can. Zumba with Sabrina is fantastic and has me thinking of taking my ZIN soon as she has really supported me in moving more and being as good as I can be. Eddies Lift classes are phenomenal. He is honestly such a motivational instructor, he challenges me to do more and be better even when I think I cant! I have realised I like to lift heavy and whilst I don't have the courage yet one day ill get downstairs and see what I can really lift past 40kg! I've even become an early morning class go-er and do Yoga and Reggie's Pump class which is really challenging but I feel so accomplished when I walk out it sets me up for the day! Henry is also amazing! I never thought id be a gym go-er. moving to a new area and meeting people via the gym has been wonderful for me really like an adults only youth club where someone tells you to put more weight on the bar lol. I am loving all the little improvements the gym is getting to like the new changing rooms and the mats for the studio! Thank you for helping me on my weight loss journey and more importantly vastly improving my mental wellbeing! I look forward to classes everyday! :)

The incentive to rejoin is a scam. Why is it that after payment is when you will be shown peak times which you can't make it at all.
