Best gym in the city centre
Best gym in the city centre. Perfectly located, staff always very friendly and welcoming! Also one of the cleanest pure gyms I’ve experienced

Highly Recommend
After recently joining I can highly recommend this gym. The management team and staff were very welcoming and professional. It has a good variety of equipment in a very clean and friendly environment. I particularly like that all the classes are included and especially enjoy those run by Sophie.

Top-notch Gym
I have been searching for a gym that truly feels welcoming, and I finally found it here at PureGym Leeds City Centre South. This place deserves every one of its five stars!
From the spotless facilities to the impressive array of modern equipment, the management clearly cares about providing a premium experience. The cleaning staff works tirelessly—I've never seen a gym so consistently hygienic and well-maintained.
What truly sets this gym apart is the incredible staff and positive atmosphere. Every team member, personal trainers are genuinely friendly, knowledgeable, and ready to help. The environment is motivating, yet completely non-intimidating, making it perfect for both beginners and seasoned pros.
If you are looking for a place to crush your fitness goals in a supportive, high-quality environment, this is it. Best decision I've made all year!

I bought this for access to shower
I bought this for the showers and they're closed until after I need them so I'm going to cancel my membership and attempt a refund

Members are able to cancel their memberships anytime via the PureGym app or website. On the members area; as mentioned in our terms conditions, cancellations must be actioned 4 working days before the next payment is due: https://www.puregym.com/help-centre/freezing-or-ending/how-do-i-cancel-my-direct-debit-monthly-membership/.
We do not offer refunds outside of the 14-day cooling off period, nor do we offer refunds for non usage. Please email our team at member.services@puregym.com to discuss this further.

Amazing gym
I had a good experience when I went there. Gym is fully equipped, well lit and signing in and out is flawless. Everyone was also quite respectful. Great gym. Will certainly be back.

Gym experience very good but complained…
Gym experience very good but complained numerous times about shower rooms disgusting broken soap Dispenser for weeks smell like it has been mopped stale sweat smell there its get checked and signed on log does not gonna take picture next time

It’s comfortable
It’s comfortable, very clean, vending machine is cool and the water refill machine is amazing the water is so fresh. 10/10 also the people are chill

First day for my personal training and I was at first scared but she was so sweet and upbeat!!. I felt comfortable immediately to be honest about my goals and feel like I’ll definitely make the most of my time here!!. :))) thank you Angel!

Good range of equipment, but experience needs improvement
The range of equipment is good.
Easy and secure secure entrance.
The showers are set to a very short time before they auto switch off, that is quite annoying over time.
A lot of the lockers locks do not actually lock, and the doors stay open and on a couple of occasions i have hurt my head against them, while moving around.

Clean and well-equipped.
After reading negative reviews of some PureGym places, I was reticent, but this one in the city centre is excellent: large, lots of equipment and very clean; it’s a bargain for £23 a month.

The gym was filthy
The gym was filthy, there were not towels or disinfectant to clean the equipment, and a couple were videotaping everyone, so no privacy at all. Disappointing experience :(

Unsafe
Equipment is broken and unsafe, and has been the duration of my membership - I’ve hurt myself too many times trying to participate in classes on faulty spin bikes. (Once upon a time you might expect businesses to take this seriously, but it seems there are no consequences so they won’t be improving any time soon.) PureGym have also essentially decided to switch off the air con for ‘the environment’ (money) - I nearly passed out during classes over the summer. The staff are great (hence the additional star) but unfortunately have their work cut out for them. The owner of PureGym has exposed his true colours and I expect absolutely nothing from this business. Many of us have been stuck there with it being the only reasonably priced gym around, but at this point it isn’t worth any amount of money.
