Walkable, affordable, welcoming, well-equipped
PureGym is what it is - a no-nonsense no-frills gym that has a wide range of well maintained equipment, cardio machines and weights, and most importantly is great value for money, and walkable. Highly recommended for those of us who don’t want to pay £100+ a month more for the pool and sauna at a gym we’d have to drive to. My local one also has a very nice atmosphere, everyone is welcome.

A great local gym
It’s my local gym and my killer lifts routine is well supported by equipment. It definitely requires a few new machines for lats, glutes, and back day workouts. But it’s a great gym, with awesome, hardworking, and supportive staff.

Was a bit disappointed by all the aging…
Was a bit disappointed by all the aging kit, barbells etc, and there weren’t enough bumper plates for everyone wanting to use them. Vibe is pretty poor, no music playing or if it was so quiet it feels like a church.

I really don’t appreciated how the classes run , the PT , him don’t help very much , don’t care about safe manual , I asked to help me how to fix one of the stuffs he look unhappy to help .. So bad experience, this is Pure Gym in East Sheen.

Poor Cleanliness in Toilets/Showers
Looks like no cleaners on site.The toilets weren’t clean, smelly and water flooded the floor by the sinks.

I use apple US and unfortunately am unable to download your app as it is UK only based.
Classes are usually pump, LBT or spinning. Would be nice if there were other kind of classes.

There is little or no guidence for the use of equipment, the induction was merely showing you where the eqipment was not how to use it.

Cleaning
Pure gym in East Sheen is only open between 8am and 8pm at weekends but the cleaner is cleaning between 8am and noon vacuuming around you feet and cleaning the toilets when you need them. Can’t the cleaning be done out of hours?

The PureGym branch in East Sheen
The PureGym branch in East Sheen, London, is a very spacious gym, divided into sections for weight training and cardio. It is well-organized and well-divided. The only problem is that in the weight training area, there is only one flat bench for chest, leading to queues for those wanting to perform their workouts. This is inconceivable for such a large gym, especially considering that bench training is one of the most commonly performed exercises. The same issue applies to the areas designated for squats, with only four zones available. Additionally, two of these zones are often occupied for an extended period by individuals performing deadlifts, (preventing others from using the space for squats) because they have a different flooring. This results in the squat area being occupied.
Simply allocating a few square meters for deadlift flooring, separate from the squat area, would resolve this issue, ensuring better use of space and facilitating a more efficient gym layout.
In summary, the main stations for major muscle groups should be better managed to allow for enjoyable and comfortable workouts without the need to struggle for available space.
I hope that the gym management can takes my suggestions into consideration. These are relatively small adjustments that could significantly enhance the quality of workouts and the overall experience for those using the gym.
