Good equipment. Friendly atmosphere. The only thing I find annoying is the amount of people using cameras and tripods. They are situated in a position where they’re filming other members of the gym... Toon meer

North Finchley Pure gym could be a bit cleaner and better ventilated . Particular emphasis on male changing room and showers / toilets . The gym equipment is good. The staff is very friendly.

I wish I never joined this awful gym.
I joined this gym and paid all the cost but due to their silly policy I was denied because I had to have a induction session for disabled people therefore as per automated instruction I emailed them to have this session immediately but no reply, I even asked them through their Instagram, Facebook and several emails but no avail.
Now I am denied the access and no induction course either.
This is their message when I tried to open their app:
Welcome to PureGym
You’ve highlighted to us that you may need some support or may need to use the access doors. These access doors don’t work with the standard QR code, as we require you to attend an induction before gaining access. This induction is to ensure you have all the information to gain safe access, usage, and evacuation from the facility. Please note, you won’t be able to access the gym using these doors or access your members’ area until you’ve completed your induction.
"To arrange your induction please contact our Member Services Team on Facebook Messenger or email us to help arrange with the gym’s General Manager. They will meet you in the gym and be able to talk through your needs and guide you through using the facilities."
Now I am being charged with no service, if they can't take appropriate action once you paid them why they don't inform their customers before completing the registration.

North Finchley Pure gym could be a bit…
North Finchley Pure gym could be a bit cleaner and better ventilated . Particular emphasis on male changing room and showers / toilets . The gym equipment is good. The staff is very friendly.

Great service at low cost
Clean big spaces, private section for female, affordable price and flexible payment options. Workout group classes are the best.

Please can management sort out the showers and heating/air con please!
The showers have been backed up for months which makes for a pretty gross experience and the water is absolutely freezing which is great if you love cold showers! And the heating was on upstairs in the gym which was boiling and the changing room was freezing! That and the equipment never being in the right places or broken!

Fire safety review needed!
Only joined because it's close to home. Not very clean, the toilets were filthy. Fire alarm was set off on my first visit and the staff didn't have a clue what do, you could barely hear nor understood the announcements which is a big worry.

Empty lockers have coats and bags filled in them but no lock
It’s my local gym but it’s annoying when all the lockers are filled with coats and bags that don’t have a lock on them and the leg press is broken. So I’ll give this gym a miss.

Staff do undertake regular maintenance checks and work hard with our equipment providers to ensure that our equipment are fixed as soon as possible, if any should be broken. We are equally as disappointed when this happens and sometimes need to wait on engineers but will have all equipment in full working order as soon as is safely possible. If you have any concerns about equipment, please notify staff on site as soon as you can. Thanks, PureGym.
Excellent value gym
Excellent value for money gym with good range of equipment and classes. The class instructors are nice and take account of varying capabilities. Slightly disappointed that a class I booked the instructor didn't show up for.

My experience was excellent, it’s the perfect box to box gym, when visiting London. I love the fact there is zero commitment, with great flexibility.

Good well managed gym
Well equipped and organised, spacious work out area, well ventilated, professional and friendly staff.
Room for improvement with general cleanliness, particularly with the toilets, not helped by recurring issues with water pressure when flushing which I appreciate is beyond control of staff, nonetheless needs to be rectified by contractors. Overall, value.for money.

Not enough signposting to safety as a woman and in general
It was very efficient, but, on reflection, I think it would’ve been good to have been directly signposted to key safety points during sign up, such as non staffed hours, how to induct yourself into the gym, and fire evacuation.
I know the content is available on your website, but I think it should’ve been a step-by-step signpost process you have to go through online, so you are aware of the need for these things.
I’ve used your gym before, and enjoyed going there. However I was aware this time that I was one of of around 3-4 women amongst lots of men in a huge gym, and with no staff member present.
I was surprised, getting there at around 7pm on a Saturday, that your gym was unstaffed. And I don’t like the feeling of people hanging around on gym equipment on their phones - hard to know whether to ask a guy to move on!
I’m not sure how long I will continue with this membership, and may choose a different gym that has a more open and friendly feel, with staff available.

As an online company, we don't have receptions. However, we have the cylinder POD doors that act as both an entrance and security system.
The POD doors monitor entrance with individual 8 digit code.
As well as this, we have staff monitoring the gym, as well as a 24/7 CCTV team.
If there are individual instances you are aware where security has been breached, then please let a member of staff know. Likewise any concerns or suggestions can be discussed with the Gym Manager direct and fully investigated. Thanks, PureGym
