You get what you pay for, and sometimes you don't
First problem the place stunk with a mixture of wet paint and unflushed toilets, transpires today was the day Saturday (one of the busiest days) management had decided it was a good idea to paint the gym
Went to use the showers after workout to discover there was no water for showers or toilets which explains the unflushed toilet smell in the gym, signs posted on shower indicating not in use.
There was no notification email sent informing users that toilet and shower facilities would not be available taking into account some people go the gym before work and need to use showers prior to starting a shift.
No notice on entrance or told by staff stating water was going to be turned off or unavailable I only became aware of the situation after finishing my treadmill session hot and sweaty and seeing makeshift signs posted during my workout and after I had started training.

No customer service
There is no way to contact anyone to find out why my membership was cancelled. I restarted it and they took my money but still can't get access

Weston Favell Northampton …staff are not professional
Weston Favell Northampton …One star for the price which is the cheapest around , one star for the free ample parking in the shopping centre , as far as the gym ..NO air con, NO clean down wipes anywhere, NO showing how things worked…if you happen to see a member of staff they are on their phones ( even one when she was with a member who was paying her !) on Tues a member of staff was wearing all I can say is knickers ,gathered back and bum checks on show not a good look for any company…when did it become acceptable to allow users to wear crocs ?

It was a bit strange getting used to…
It was a bit strange getting used to the different machines and how they act differently to what you press e.g. Press up on the difficulty on the cross trainer and it doesn't do anything.it just makes it's own mind up what you're doing. I couldn't find a bar bell pad to do weighted squats so I didn't bother with that. Some people were sat on the machines staring into space for at least 10 mins and a staff member was playing crazy golf with the little plastic ball going all over the place including into the free weight area.

The equipment was clean and tidy, I can see why this is a popular gym.

Fantastic local gym
The team of instructors and Trainers at the Weston Favel PureGym are amazing! For those I see on a regular basis, I feel they are truly invested in supporting my fitness journey. Everything from setting up the direct debit, to receiving my pin, downloading the APP, induction, was straight forward and very easy.

Swifty in particular has been keeping an eye on my sessions, giving me tips and pushing me to failure when I need it. Even when I want to quit, there's always one more lift.
