The experience with the club is good…
The experience with the club is good and friendly didn’t do a class today but the ones I do which are on Tuesday/Wednesday and Thursday are good well attended and sets you up for the day well done staff

Disappointed
Me and my partner paid £10 each for a day pass she didn’t receive her code so spent a bit of time trying to get her in the gym. There wasn’t many machines and the ones we did use like the leg extension for example, the bar that rests on you legs is crooked it wouldn’t be an issue if there was multiple options. It’s a shame Puregym has the reputation that it has but with the old equipment and even limited amounts of the equipment is why the reputation sticks. The only positive was the vending machine.

We are sorry to hear that this had been your experience when accessing the gym on a day pass and would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused. We would like to assure you that we are reviewing feedback and will ensure this is addressed in club. Staff do undertake regular maintenance checks and work hard with our equipment providers to ensure that our equipment is fixed as soon as possible, if any should be broken. We are equally as disappointed when this happens and sometimes need to wait on engineers but will have all equipment in full working order as soon as is safely possible. If you have any concerns about equipment, please notify staff on site as soon as you can. Thanks, PureGym

Makes me feel good about myself
I like how the trainers make you feel welcome and friendly to talk to. The gym is nice and clean too.

Good but lots of people
Loads of people, decent equipment, Clean environment, good lighting, hard to get on machines because there’s so many people, good that it’s 24/7

Our gyms are indeed very popular and so can become busy especially at peak times, but this does fluctuate throughout the day. Members can also use the members area via the PureGym app or website to see how many people are in the gym.
Please also feel free to ask to switch in with a member while they rest between sets, this can also help you keep an even pace between sets. Thanks, PureGym.
I joined AGAIN and when I went to use…
I joined AGAIN and when I went to use the shower, all of them AGAIN was dirty with shaving hair and body hair in with build up of dirt. Appalling!

Gym equipment in poor condition and lockers unavailable
It’s a shame that feedback is not really acted upon although I always receive an email in return telling me it is.
The lockers in the open cardio area are still fitted with permanent locks and the recent explanation that locks have been removed is simply not true, in fact at least one more permanent lock is now on there. So, all the convenient lockers are now not available. There was a sign displayed telling them the rules but no action was taken and the sign has been removed, so no consequences. Please let’s see some real action taken.
Equipment is still in poor condition and all the same points raised last time are the same. The calf machine is the latest machine to fail and it’s been out of use for a number of weeks now.
The membership will increase in the new year I’m sure so please get a grip of the equipment and locker issues soonest.
I work in estate management and would be happy to meet management and discuss the issues.

Each day pass expires at midnight. If you buy a day pass at 2pm, you have until midnight on the same day to use the gym. Please note that day passes do not last 24 hours.
There’s an option to delay your day pass start date for up to one month.
If unable to use this pass on the day, please reach out to our Member Services team who can re-arrange this for you! Thanks, PureGym
