They show you other photos and the hotel is terrible

Just stayed there for 3 nights and it was the perfect place. It’s a super cool boho building where they are indeed different event going in on different floors. The hotel is located on the 3rd floor next to Abbey Wood studio. You don’t hear anything from the studios by the way. There might be concerts going on, on the ground floor but , even tho there was one on one night of our stay , we never heard anything from our room. Our room was spacious and clean. We even had a small fridge, a kettle and coffees; nice flat screen TV. The mattress of the double bed was super comfy. Around the Q factory hotel, there are an amazing choice of cheap shops and affordable restaurants. The Tram is so near and the train to central about 5-7 mins walk. Super easy to get around. There is yet another canal near by. We felt super safe. We booked asking for one of the best room and we were super happy. The staff at reception is lovely and there is even a caffe/bar on the ground floor . I was a bit concerned while reading other reviews but was super kneaded we stayed there .

A sober but clean and comfortable hotel with friendly and correct staff.

We arrived in Amsterdam after a long flight and took a taxi to this hotel.
The photos on their website make it look like a modern, funky, alternate style accomodation and it’s certainly promoted that way.
When we arrived we opened the door to the room and there was an overpowering smell of cigarettes. Neither my wife or I smoke, but this room had been used by smokers long term.
When you opened the bathroom door, the bathroom smelled like raw sewerage. Disgusting.
There were two single foam mattresses on the floor. An old dusty rug and a chair that looked like it was pulled from a rubbish skip.
It looked like a university dorm room.
THE ACTUAL ROOMS ARE NOTHING LIKE THE PHOTOS ON THEIR WEBSITE.
THIS IS FALSE ADVERTISING AT IT’S WORST.
We could not put up with the smell of the room, so we asked the front desk for a refund. They simply said “management has a policy of no refunds”.
AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE.
Unless you want to revisit your university days.
But it’s not priced that way.
Terrible accomodation.

This club is not a club. It is medium sized hotel conference room. What you see on the pictures is just very nice taken photo!

I visited this club on NYE 2023 and I was seriously disappointed. Ticket cost me 45 euro and after seeing those photos and website "Europe's premier music venue" I believed I would attend some serious rave party. To my disappointment I found out it's just serious ripoff of Q-factory hotel. I say ripoff because they charge you for using toilet every time you use it(never seen paying for use of toilet) or you can pay for all night and also for .use of locker 4 euro for putting stuff in. If you open the locker you must pay again. They said last time there was 1250 people on 2022 but I doubt there was more than 200-300 people. 1250 people could not take in anyway as it's too small. 3 hours of basically just sitting and talking people for like 60 euro.

This hotel has four stars on booking.com. I really don't know how no carpet on the floor just screed. No mugs in the room to make tea. No colour in the room so disappointed

Concert at Q factory. Bad experience since We could not hear vocals or leadguitar when you stand near the stage. I guess We had to choose between Nice Sound or Nice view, since both were not an option.
Not recommendable for concerts…

I recently booked a room at this hotel.

I booked five months in advance, a double bed, room for one person. Yet my confirmation email indicates a room for two people and two twin beds.

I contacted he hotel and asked them to honor my initial request for a double bed, they refused. They told me I could pay an extra 67 Euros to secure the type of room I asked for to begin with, but there's more...

When I booked on Agoda, the site said I would not be charged, at the time of booking but that I must enter my credit card info to secure the room. They charged me immediately. When I contacted the hotel about this, they explained that they haven't worked with Agoda in months and that my reservation was booked and charged through Booking.com, a company I never authorized to charge my credit card. Also know as credit card fraud.

All I have asked for is for my money to be refunded and let all go our separate ways (they have five months to re-rent the room).

I will update you in two weeks on the status of this.
