Highly recommended
Had a very pleasant and friendly experience - everything was done carefully and they ensured that I was comfortable at all times. Having previously had two breast cancer…
Having previously had two breast cancer surgeries and being left with both physical and mental issues I felt so insecure and ugly I was unable to live a full and social life. Mr Uppal really understood my issues that such uneven breasts caused me and that I needed a reduction rather than implants or augmentation, he carried out my reduction procedure and it has honestly changed my life! I am most grateful for his friendly, understanding and empathetic approach.

It’s given me my confidence back
I had a breast reduction in June 2025, the whole process from beginning to end was dealt with professionalism and absolute care, Dr Uppal and his team made me heard and valued as a patient.

Amazing Reconstruction
Mr Uppal has done an amazing job on the reconstruction of my breast that I lost due to cancer. After my mastectomy I hid away from people as I didn't feel normal. I had to go on depression medication and everytime I had to leave the house I was so worried about my appearance and that people were staring at me. I wore baggy tops so people would not notice I only had one breast, I declined meeting up with friend and stated working from home so I didn't have to face people at work. Mr Uppal has enabled me to look at my body and feel normal again. He has restored my confidence and I feel a massive relief that I no longer feel ashamed of my body. I am now complete as a woman thanks to this man and his team dedicating their time to helping me be able to live a normal life. It really is a life changer for me and I can't thank them enough.

I would definitely recommend
Mr Uppal was my plastic surgeon when I had breast cancer surgery in 2024 with reconstruction using chest wall perforator flap. I was very happy and pleased with the everything Mr Uppal did, from the initial consultation to the surgery and the aftercare, especially when I had concerns at home regarding the post surgery wound, Mr Uppal rang me back the same day and offered to see me that day. I went straight in to the hospital and he and Miss Jain, my oncoplastic Breast surgeon both took the time out of thier busy days to examine me and reassure me that all was OK and would heal. Despite the fact that my cancer was quite large for my breast Mr Uppal and Miss Jain managed to conserve my breast and reconstructed it so it looks practically the same as my other breast.
If you are considering surgery with Mr Uppal I would totally recommend him without a doubt.

Rhinoplasty and ear correction surgery
I recently had both rhinoplasty and ear correction surgery with Mr Uppal.
I was recommended to use Mr Uppal by a friend and I’m so glad I trusted him to carry out the procedure.
The whole process from consultation to surgery and aftercare was better than I expected and I am delighted with the results.
I am now 4 weeks post surgery and fully healed and for the first time in many years able to breathe through my nose comfortably. The cosmetic improvement is also excellent.

Excellent Revision Rhinoplasty with Rib Cartilage Graft
Rajan Uppal performed a Septorhinoplasty with a rib cartilage graft on me in October 2025. It was highly successful and exceeded all my possible expectations!
I came to Rajan with a big problem as I had a botched surgery in Turkey previously which left me with an unnatural ski-slope nose - I did not ask for what happened to me and it was highly distressing.
Rajan Uppal rebuilt my nose using rib cartilage to make me look natural again, he even managed to give a slight natural bump which I specifically requested to make it look like a natural side profile again. The precision and skill required to perform such a revision is extremely high, I am still shocked and amazed at the results- like magic!
It is a real skill to know how to create a truly balanced and complementary profile that suits an individual's own face. Rajan Uppal is a great surgeon who has changed my life!

Using rib to make a new nose, requires precise carving like a sculpture. It's a challenge but this is something that we specialise in to tailor-make the outcome for each patient.

Rhinoplasty needs a lot of aftercare which is not possible from Turkey. The Foreign Office encourages patients to choose a surgeon in the UK so that you have all the protections in place.
The Foreign office has advised patients not to rely on social media advertising such as Tiktok which can give misleading appearance of the success of rhinoplasty surgery.

When I booked my surgery I didn’t know what to expect but the staff were extremely helpful and professional which made the process easy and stress free.
The surgery itself went well and I felt very well looked after.
Unfortunately I experienced a few issues during recovery but the after care has been excellent. I have been able to book as many follow up appointments as I need and the communication has been very good with all my worries and concerns addressed nearly always within 24 hours.

The aftercare is critical because the nose can swell up and change over time. The inside of the nose can be runny which is like having a cold and this can cause more swelling and even blockage of the airways for a few weeks after surgery.
We stay in close contact with you so that we can support you through the recovery phase and most importantly solve any issues that occur.
As in your case we were pleased to be able to solve these issues over time and make sure you got a great result.

Patience is the key
I had rhinoplasty surgery almost exactly one year ago, Mr Uppal and his team were extremely supportive in the run up to the surgery, after surgery my nose was very swollen and it took many many months to reduce ,during this time I was in constant contact with Mr Uppal he reassured me that the swelling would continue to reduce and I would need to be patient, after 6 months Mr Uppal suggested I should have some steroid injections to help reduce the swelling quicker , it’s now a year since my surgery and I’m very happy with the result but know it could be as much as another year before I see the final result. I would definitely recommend Mr Uppal I always felt like I could contact him at anytime with any worries I had with my surgery.

You have described a common scenario where swelling can take a long time to settle down which is why the aftercare is so important after surgery to the face.
Patients who have thick skin find that the swelling can take a little longer than normal to settle down. In anticipation, we have a few contingency treatments available to make sure we get the best result in the end.
While it is always theoretically possible to have more revision surgery, it is prudent to try non-surgical treatments as you have described, to prevent scar tissue developing and to reduce swelling in the long term.
Rhinoplasty is certainly not an operation that can be rushed and to get a good result can take time to improve the subtle Shadows across the nose.
Ultimately the nose is in the center of the face and we all judge it a lot each time we look in the mirror.
This is why we spent so much time planning the design of your nose before surgery so that we can deliver a result that fits your particular face and makes you personally happy.
We do not use a one-size-fits-all approach because that leads to unhappiness among patients.

Week 1 post rhinoplasty
Week 1 post rhinoplasty, so still in the very early days of recovery, but everything seems to have gone well, I feel I'm healing very quick.
The whole journey has been flawless, my first communications were answered, my consultation with Dr Uppal was genuine and honest, information sharing, signing of documents, and payment was simple. Surgery day at Weymouth Street hospital was a pleasure, lovely staff, I had a luxury room to relax before and after surgery, a meal after was cooked to perfection, big thank you actually to all for your welcome and kindness. A follow up remote video call was conducted, communication with Dr Uppal in care and advice is great so far too.

Worst experience of my life
Worst experience of my life. Pictures speak for themselves. I asked for a small hump reduction and my consultation document states that I was happy with my tip. I was devastated to find that the tip of my nose was cut off. As the years have gone on the nose has become even more deformed. It has been informed that so much cartilage has been removed that I have collapses on both sides. I have horrific sinus infections and can only sleep upright on one side. It will now cost upwards of £20,000 to fix and I will require rib grafts etc.
