Absolutely terrible. Went to the Birmingham show. Not a single monster truck. A few motorbikes doing crap 'stunts'. Overpriced fair. Huge waste of money and massive disappointment.

Don’t waste your money! Attending Birmingham's show on Saturday, to be told on the gate there was no monster truck show as it was broken. Were lied to saying we would have been emailed but no emails received by anyone. They were offering free rides on a monster truck that normally costs £10 a ride but the queue was over 2 hours long and in the hot sun with a special needs child that wasn’t possible. Rides were mostly £5 each rider which is very expensive and staff were rude. Food wasn’t the best either. Entertainment was poor, the one singer we saw wasn’t wearing much!!! Not really family friendly and other characters walking around in tired costumes. The bikes and quads were boring, no real tricks have seen better elsewhere. Whoever was on the microphone kept making sexual comments about the female bike rider which thankfully our child was too young to understand but was very uncomfortable and degrading to the poor women. If we had been told before we made the hour journey we would not of attended but to be told at the gate with an excited child we couldn’t exactly say no we are going home. Have messaged the company but yet to hear back, they need to take the hit and refund people as no one got the event that was advertised.

Went to attend the Monster truck event in Birmingham. Was an absolute joke of an event. We were told on arrival that the main event (monster truck show) was cancelled. Went in for 5 minutes found out the fair rides were £5 per person. Tried to get a refund and told that wasn't possible as we have had the tickets scanned but were not told this when we went through. Tried to raise a complaint through social media and had no response. Do not buy tickets for events put on by this company.

Complete waste of money. Cynical customer service boarding on being a scam. Email sent minutes before show was set to start cancelling main attraction. Huge queue for "free ride", minimal discount (50p) from overpriced fair rides which Staff did not apply. Staff no when asked for refund. AVOID.

What a terrible event. At around 3pm I asked a security guard if we were actually going to be seeing any monster trucks that day, for him to tell me ‘the company had a technical issue and there wouldn’t be any’ only 1 monster truck that you could ride for ‘free’ instead of £10 per person. He said we should have got a email, which we hadn’t, so that’s great. There were so many upset children around, crying and their parents having to take them home upset and disappointed. Imagine knowing you’re advertising an event, mainly aimed at kids, and not providing what they’re looking forward to seeing. Looking at the reviews on trust pilot this happens suspiciously regularly. Other people stating there is always only one monster truck. So false advertising, I wonder if trading standards will agree? £75 to enter a fair ground, where the prices were unbelievably high. Knowing the day before that they had ‘technical issues’ pretty poor and terribly organised. It wouldn’t have been particularly hard to have made some signs to inform everyone, but thinking of it, they wouldn’t be able to scam
People that way. The shows were really boring, the children I was with (9,5,3,2) were not interested in the slightest. Motorbikes doing wheelies and quad bikes riding around. They see that on main roads driving around ‘certain areas’ and even if it was slightly interesting for them, it was repeated around 6 times in the day.
The website says no outdoor food allowed and bags would be searched, I didn’t take a picnic or snacks for this reason. Nothing of ours was searched, despite there being no queue to enter. This is more of a concern with safety for me, as we took in a trolly, with chairs etc and it wasn’t even looked at, worrying that anyone could have taken anything in there, but also very frustrating as we had to buy food in there and it was all just stupidly overpriced. Will definitely be contacting trading standards, as it was a shambles all round. No safety, false advertising and a fire was started on the dried out field in an area not far wildfires that recently destroyed nearly 40 homes. Don’t think they have a clue what they’re doing sadly.

I had booked this event for my little family months in advance. We were so excited to share the experience of a monster truck event! We were especially looking forward to going to see the slingshot in action!

We had travelled from Coventry, so left early to get to the event for when it first started.

When we got there, the queue was already a mile long. However once they had started to let people in, it did go down quite quickly.

Once we were in, we found that the slingshot was actually broken and wouldn’t be doing any shows.

Very disappointing as that was the only reason we were really going.
There was nothing else for us to do. We heard they were giving away free rides on the monster truck, but with a toddler, for us, this wasn’t possible.

We put our son on a few fair ground rides, again, very limited due to his age, and then we left.

After leaving an email pinged up.

The RA Monster Truck Event team had sent an email to everybody at 9:53am on the day of the event that was set to start at 10:00am.
Informing everybody that the slingshot was broken down and that all fairground rides would be giving 50p discount (which we didn’t get and were unaware of due to the fact we hadn’t seen the email).
We also didn’t realise until this email, that, that was the actual reason the monster truck ride was free!

In the email it said if we wish to get a refund, we should not enter the park and request a refund.

This is very clever. Sending an email 7 MINUTES before the event is set to start, knowing that the grounds have no signal for internet. Knowing that a lot of people will already be there ready to get in. 7 minutes?! Really?! We came from Coventry and left just before 9am!

I’m absolutely furious. What a shambles.

We attending the event at Birmingham today to find the main attraction wasn’t actually there. So we essentially attended a monster truck show withhhhh, that’s it…no monster truck! I paid for a family ticket and an additional ticket so my niece could attend. In total this was £110. £110 to attend a site with a funfair on! Each ride was £5 until I was informed by another attendee that they were £4.50 now, you know, as the monster truck wasn’t there. staff didn’t tell us and the people manning the rides didn’t either. We had to physically say “aren’t these £4.50?” not like 50p off helped ease the blow on the bank. The kids didn’t want to watch the motorbikes for more than 10 minutes and then they just kept doing shows throughout the time we where there which was a repeat of the show they performed half hour prior so, back to the rides we went 🫣 in total we spent £205 to go to a monster truck event that had no monster truck show. Oh and this ridiculous offer of a free ride on the monster truck ride they had there, is NOT compensation. The queues where ridiculous, it kept over heating and I wasn’t waiting with 3 young children and an 11 week old baby in a 2 hour long queue. None of the staff advised the main event wasn’t on when we had our tickets scanned either so now we can’t request a refund? Luckily we saved some money by packing a picnic. Thank the Lord I did that otherwise we’d have spent around £300 today. just for context, recently I was looking at a day at Disney land Paris for our holiday coming up and get this….. a day for 2 adults 1 child and a baby at Disney land Paris on the 20th of Jan would set me back £140.39!!! Yeah, I just had my knickers well and truly pulled down by this company. They should’ve rescheduled or offered us a refund! Diabolical to say the least! FML.

FYI they’re apparently deleting negative comments off their social media pages. So, they’re not allowing people to actually see how frustrated their customers are. Ah well, I guess they’ll attend and have their pants pulled down too. Word of mouth is also a thing and so is trust pilot so here’s to getting this sh*t show closed down! Absolute robbery!

Only 1 monster truck for the whole event which had broken down before the event even started (at 10am) only to be fixed for 2pm by which the queue to ride was enormous and then it broke again! Not a single show featured a monster truck as promised. My 2 year old still had a good time and great in theory but definitely should have had a back up truck and should definitely be offering a partial refund to everyone who attended as £30 per person for a monster truck event with no monster trucks is awful. No one seems to be getting any replies to their emails or Facebook messages regarding this and negative comments are being deleted from their page instead of being addressed.

Really waste of money
One monster truck which just sat there and a couple of bikes which literally went up and down in a very small section of grass and a couple of wheelies and a jump over one car … food drinks and fairground rides definitely NOT worth the money. Absolutely wont be going again .. save ur money guys

A monster truck show with only 1 monster truck? Bike stunts or a few blokes doing wheelies? Singers that shouldn’t be near a microphone? And to top it off, the inconsideration of setting a display on fire, on dried out grass… after the terrible fires currently happening in the West Midlands. The guy who put it out using a fire extinguisher walked away as it reignited!! Thankfully another biker saw it and patted it out with his feet.

Absolute shambles, we left early.

What a waste of money and what an awful event.

I paid £60 for tickets after seeing an advert full of monster trucks and impressive performances. None of what was shown in the advert was actually part of the show. In reality, there was just one monster truck giving rides to people, which looked highly questionable from a safety perspective.

For such a large event, I was also shocked that there appeared to be no ambulance or fire engine on site. The whole thing felt more like a massive, noisy and dirty funfair, with serious questions around the safety of some of the rides and the event overall.

The final straw was the motorbike stunt performance. It was not particularly spectacular, and as part of the stunt they poured petrol onto a construction structure built specifically for the performance and set it on fire. This was on a field surrounded by completely dry grass. It was genuinely scary to watch, particularly given the wildfire emergency in the UK at the time, when people were receiving emergency alerts on their phones. Even more concerning, it took them some time to get the fire fully under control.

This showed an astonishing lack of judgement and made me seriously question the safety standards at the whole event.

I really hope the relevant authorities look into the safety arrangements at this event.

We left after less than an hour.

Avoid. Definitely not worth £60 and not worth risking your safety.

So disappointed, didnt recieve a email to state there was no main event monster truck as advertised to sell the event, everything was running behind and the stunt shows were amature with the bikes just going in circles at best it was a small fair with local bikers called in last minute to help out. Please read my message and send a full refund as requested. As it was false advertisement. Never have i seen a "event" so poor. Also now deleting comments from their facebook page as everyone is extremely disappointed. Shame on you.

Good effort but poor value for money.

We attended this weekend, on a family ticket that was ~£70 or so, fair enough the event looked like it would be fun, and we had fun, it was a nice day, clearly effort is put into the event, but considering entry fee and the steep prices for the fair rides on top, it felt like very poor value for money

and the headline monster truck show was cancelled due to engine breakdown or something - now they did tell us in line, and they offered us free monster truck ride along tickets - but the queue was like 3 hours +....
they also said 50p off every ride / activity, but the prices were still rounded, £3, £4, £5 per go etc which is sus.

and speaking of fair ground prices, maybe im out of touch but it was so expensive, 2 little boys and me escorting them they wanted £15 for a walk through one of those crazy house type deals...

bouncy castle - tbf really nice, large, kids had loads of fun, but £6 each for 8 mins... come on.

apart from the price the vibe was nice, and we did enjoy the few rides we could go on - but i couldnt justify spending so much money for what was just a day at the fair.
Instead of being able to enjoy the fair i found myself constantly calculating whether another 5 or 10 minutes of entertainment is worth another £10 - £15.

Ironically, if the rides and attractions were half the price, i suspect we would have spent about the same amount overall but come away feeling we'd have much better value, i mean we had fun but once you factor in the high admission price, the cancellation of the headline show, and the amount they are charging for typical fairground rides, i cant really recommend it.

At these prices, we wouldnt go again.

We attended today as a family of 4. My partner had only booked due to monster trucks being the main attraction for our 9 year old son. When we arrived we were told that we could either have a refund, or use our tickets to enter without a refund have a free ride on the monster truck that was there and 50p off all fair rides. During the day we had to pay full price for the fair rides £5 per ride so £20 a ride for us as a family. It cost a fortune to eat as the cheapest meal for our youngest was £9 and for the adults £13.50. The bike show in my opinion was too much commentary which our family soon became bored waiting for some excitement. The wrestling show was ok, the kids enjoyed that. Then the free ride on the monster truck, the que was all around the field, speaking to someone who was half way down the line they had been queuing for 2 hours! No thankyou. We spent £150 on rides and food and left. Never again. It was a complete scam

REALLY BAD DONT BOOK!! £75 for a family ticket for the 15th as it said until 10.30pm. Got here at 4pm and 6pm they told us they’re shutting! Plus monstertruck show not on as the truck aint working. AVOID

Terrible value for money. No monster trucks and overpriced rides

Turned up and tickets scanned then told that the monster stunt truck had broken down and wasn't going to be on. The whole point of going. Then went to check Facebook because they said to look for discounts availible due to this. That's when I saw the post saying the truck had broken down. It was posted an hour before I arrived, during which I was driving so could see it anywhere near in time. The post said if you had your ticket scanned then you're not entitled to a refund.

Charge back now requested through my bank with plenty of evidence.

Waste of money. Broken Monster truck, so no shows and ridiculously expensive rides!!

Due to unforeseen circumstances they would not issue me a refund or credit. Apaulling that an organisation don’t have customer service as a priority and are more interested in the money.
