They deleted my honest review for no reason.Thieves!
Do not honour orders. They’re perfectly happy to take your money (over £500 in my case) and then just sit on it until you chase them. If you don’t ask where your item is, they won’t even bother updating you—you simply won’t receive it.
My order was eventually cancelled with the excuse that the item had been “discontinued” by the manufacturer, which is a complete lie. It feels like they are holding onto customers’ money for questionable reasons while advertising products they never intend to supply. They are tricking you to buy items on their website that they have no intention of fulfilling.
This is extremely misleading and unacceptable business practice. I will be contacting Trading Standards and other relevant authorities to investigate this company.
Absolutely disgusting service. Do NOT be fooled by the positive reviews.

Speedy delivery.
I received my order in two separate deliveries due to stock levels. I was updated informing me of this and delivery was well packaged and in good condition when I recieved the items.

I have used rapid online several times and i am consistently impressed with the low cost, high quality and fast shipping that they offer.

First time I have used Rapid and was impressed. I want original components and they had them with a data sheet instead of the fakes littering other sites. There’s more than electronics on the site and good prices so will be checking here before the behemoth.

I don't order my electronics stuff from any other vendor and everything is always absolutely fine.

Waste of time. Item not in stock despite email conformation informing of 40 units in stock. Ultimately they would failed to meet delivery promise meaning I fail to meet mine with my customer. No staff available following telephone call to deal with complaint. Arranged refund with their accounts representative on my second call to their offices who I must say was very helpful in contrast to the initial conversation with customer service. AVOID IF YOU HAVE A DEADLINE TO MEET.

I placed an order on 3rd March. They took payment on 5th March. As of 18th March, my order has still not been despatched. This is the second time I have had to wait much longer that the four business days they state on their website. Hardly "rapid" is it? One other thing, the last two times I ordered the same product, it came from the EU, with instructions only in German, so I had to use Google Translate before I could even get started on installing the product and even then, the instructions were incomplete, so I had to do some Google searches to find the additional information I needed.

Ordered a soldering iron. Was kept up to date on the delivery time. Iron arrived on the day it was supposed to. All in all an excellent service.

Rapid always provide a great, reliable service and when we had a problem with a complicated order, were there to point out the problem and allow us to rectify the issue before sending the goods out.
Their name belies the fast delivery service they provide.
