AVOID THIS COMPANY

I don't know where to start...over 6 months we are dealing with them and still no resolution of all the missing and stolen stuff.
We were misled from the very beginning when getting the quote. ReloUK said their most common route is UK-Australia and a container is send once a month, and told was our belongings will be delivered in Australia in 2-3 months max which we agreed on and decided to go for it. Our stuff were packed and taken on 10th of July 2025 and we've got the delivery on 9th of January 2026 which is exactly 6 months. We arrived in Australia in mid September thinking our belongings will arrive in the next month or so, yes but no. So we started spending money on things you need to bloody exist on daily basis and spent thousands of dollars. So the delivery finally arrives and we have to follow if we've got all the boxes/packages by the pink piece of paper given to us in the UK. Attention to that: But is this pink piece of paper even correct?Very questionable! Anyway will get back to that later.
So by the list we see a box missing with computer controls, the most expensive of all and 2 crystal glasses broken. Okay, my husband was pressured to sign a paper to confirm that the service received was provided to our satisfaction. Hmm. Anyway he did sign just to finish it all off. Later on we found out we are missing a lot of things and the responses from our case manager was that it's very hard to track if we don't give a number of box?!? Are you serious? How can we possibly remember every item in each box when it was even not packed by ourselves? So back to the pink piece of paper we've been given after the removals packed it all. You have to watch very carefully every box coming out on the truck and what's written on that paper, you have to count all your boxes and packages/items and check if all this is put correctly in the paper because we have serious doubts ours wasn't put correctly as it seems now we are missing not one box but at least 3.
And now that is not all, the most disgusting thing from all was a theft from our belongings from the packers(3 men,all young men around their 20's). I can say that with a 100% assurance because I waited for 6 months to get our stuff delivered to check I was right because I couldn't be sure until I see it missing as they pretended that they packed it. This gift card was part of my present from the company I worked for 8 years in the UK and it had pretty significant value for me, not so much the monetary value of it but our plan with my husband was to use it on the last day before we leave the UK for good, to go out and have a nice dinning experience as a gift from my company..... it never happened because the gift card was missing from the dining table and I could not tell if they packed it or it was stolen. And how stupid they were to pack the empty cover of the gift card which is an evidence for the theft. Unbelievable. So this company I will never recommend to anyone, it left such a bitter taste for us leaving the UK, it's unbelievable!!
To be continued with an update how do we go with the insurance claim for the missing belongings.

*Forgot to add one of my favorite pair of shoes were damaged, looks like some black machine oil spilled on them(!)

So untrustworthy and so unprofessional,
I have no words to even express all the disappointment and the cost we paid and still paying.

I was pressured to remove the review

Important update(20th Feb 2026):
So we paid insurance for loss and damage through ReloUK to a third party company RCS (Removal Claims Service are trading names of Jensten Insurance Brokers Ltd)

We have damages and losses around
£1200-1500 and we were denied to be paid a penny by the insurance company which stated:
"We must consider any and all claims in accordance with the removal documentation and based on this documentation, there remains no evidence that a loss has occurred whilst the items were in the care, custody and control of Relo UK. Consequently, I regret that we are unable to consider the claim for the missing items."

So these two companies left us feel absolutely robbed. Full stop

ReloUK -AVOID this company

In 2021, we used ReloUK for a small shipment from the UK to Dubai. The experience was good at the time.

In March 2025, we decided to hire them again for a full relocation to Dubai. All household contents were packed and shipped by ReloUK. Despite clearly marking several items as DO NOT PACK, one of their team members ignored the signs and packed them anyway — including a butter dish with butter still inside, along with a bag of dried raisins.

We emailed them about this immediately but received no response.

Fast forward to July 2025, when the shipment arrived in Dubai. The unpacking team discovered a stained carton. Inside, the butter had melted and leaked from the packed butter dish.

When we raised this with ReloUK and provided evidence, their response was that if we wanted them to check the boxes, they would have had to charge us for opening them — even though it was clearly their packer’s mistake. Quite unbelievable.

Several items arrived damaged:

Broken vases

An executive chair with a broken castor

A monitor damaged beyond repair

A dented mattress (despite video and photographic evidence showing how it was packed)

Various fragile items that were not packed properly

Insurance:
We took out insurance with Removal Claims Service, as recommended by ReloUK.
Our claim was submitted on 30 July 2025 with complete evidence. As of 21 November 2025, the process is still being dragged out with no resolution.

I will be writing a separate review for Removal Claims Service.

At this point, I would strongly avoid this company. They turned out to be expensive, unreliable, and far below the standard they advertise.

ReloUK Marine Policy

The marine transit insurance coy policy they sold to me was a fake company that had registrations in companies like Vanuwatu and Hong Kong etc so you cannot take legal action against them But we decided to go to Hong and start legal action but then fou d out they liquidated all the companies. SO WE ARE OUT OF POCKET MORE THAN £30k .plus the money we paid to get this useless insurance. What trip off organisation

Ruby was clear, patient and knowledgeable from the start. We were offered a quote which was definitely very competitive and affordable for all the services they provide. The professionalism and reassuring attitude of this team is exactly what you need when doing something so stressful like moving abroad!

Totally disagree with the negative comments - 5* experience!

I am shocked and suprised at the negative reviews for Relo/UK! We moved from UK to Canada and spent hours deciding which company to use. I spent copious amount of time with fine tuning the quote, getting video estimates etc - I changed my mind often and frequently - I would have been irritated with me!!

Ruby was nothing but patient professional and respectful and most importantly helpful! The pricing was average or below - so we decided to go with Relo!

Leading up to move day communication was clear and consistent - nothing hidden no surprises. The moving team showed up and were amazing. It took two days of packing and all out items were taken care of with care and respect. The packing team were friendly, professional and experts in their field.

Notification of where our shipment was, how long it would be there, and when it was shipped and on which ship were regular.

Upon unpacking our goods at the other end we could not have been more pleased with how are items fared. Breakages included two wine glasses and a picture frame - in 25 cubic feet of precious possessions!

V poor communication and questionable transparency

I am giving 1 star because the team who came to package everything were excellent and it was all done very well. However, the customer service is beyond poor. My items were meant to be on a shipment on 17 June and weren’t. They have not been able to provide any guidance when my items will ship, despite their emails saying they ship to all destinations regularly.

I would suggest if you need your items in a timely manner, do not use this company.

Beware of Relo UK

Beware of Relo UK - Trading as Relo-Worldwide Ltd: A Tale of Unethical Practices and Poor Service

As a charity organisation dedicated to humanitarian and charitable activities, we encountered a distressing experience with Relo-Worldwide Ltd, a company that claims expertise in international removals, particularly to South Africa. Our encounter serves as a cautionary tale for consumers considering their services.

The saga began with a simple agreement to ship used office furniture to South Africa for donation to schools and local businesses. Despite settling all fees for a door-to-door delivery service, the execution was marred by a series of unethical actions and breaches of contract.

Firstly, the company failed to inform us of the necessary import permits, leading to delays and additional costs. This oversight is particularly concerning given their purported experience in international removals.

Secondly, upon arrival in South Africa, our 40-foot container was diverted to a storage facility without our consent. This unauthorised decision resulted in further expenses and a lack of cooperation from the company's agents in South Africa.

Moreover, the company's CEO and Managing Director, displayed a disturbing lack of professionalism and honesty. They made false accusations, refused to accept responsibility for their actions, and even attempted to suppress negative reviews. Their behavior was not only unethical but also uncooperative, as they failed to engage a legal team as claimed and instead handled communications in a manner that was both dismissive and evasive.

The situation escalated when the company failed to deliver a 20-foot container and unlawfully shipped a third consignment without authorisation or payment. This was followed by the discovery of missing items from the 40-foot container, which the company has yet to address.

Throughout this ordeal, the company's CEO and MD continued to demonstrate irresponsible behavior, making baseless allegations and refusing to acknowledge the facts. Their attempts to discredit us and their refusal to provide a refund for the 20-foot container, despite our request, further highlight their unethical conduct.

In conclusion, our experience with Relo-Worldwide Ltd has been nothing short of a nightmare. The actions of the CEO and MD, in particular, have been a stark reminder of the importance of ethical business practices and professionalism. We urge consumers to exercise caution when considering this company for their relocation needs. Our charity has suffered significant financial losses and undue stress due to their unethical actions. We hope that by sharing our story, others can avoid a similar fate. STAY AWAY!

Avoid ReloUK

Avoid ReloUK, or if you already are booked at the bare minimum look up your own insurance and don't use theirs.

Only finally after a year of battling have I finally received a pay out for my damaged antiques which my parents shipped from UK to Australia for myself and arrived start 2023 damaged and broken.

Upon recieving the items, the delivery man shoved a bit of paper under my nose to say "sign it's been delivered" without even giving me time to read. I then went to open my items and this was a most upsetting discovery. Snapped solid wood legs on the rocking chair, deep gauges out of the wooden trunk and chips off the coffee table.
I contacted my parents to show them the damage, to which my father pointed out that they had said to him upon collecting the items they would wrap it in more protective layers before shipment, when he saw what had arrived at my house, he realised he had been lied to.

At this point we thought, "it's ok, we took out the insurance with ReloUK". Let me tell you, big mistake, introducing Warren from the insurance company Pacific Casualty and General which is based in Honk Kong, from the get go customer service was something clearly Warren had never heard of, after doing the nessary steps of getting the quotes for antique repair, Warren turned around and said they would not pay for anything apart from part of the rocking chair, as the other items were structually sound (never mind the deep gouges in them), when I questioned things back, they then accused me of using the items and I was trying to make false claims to the insurance company. Finally this ended with Warren telling me that because the insurance is based out of Hong Kong any law or consumer practice in your country will not apply to them.

At this point I sent the slanderous, outright rude correspondence which Warren from Pacific Casualty and General had been sending me to ReloUK, to which it was promptly responded to by the CEO who was very apologetic for the issue and organised a meeting with my father and I on how he could assist. At the start of Dec we spoke with the CEO who agreed that Warren had spoken extremely rudely and expected better from companies they partner with and agreed to pay the $2000 to get the antiques, just leave it with him a couple of weeks to get the paperwork sorted. Being Christmas i waited till after the holidays, which the CEO kindly sent an email on his return to let me know he hadn't forgotten and was working on it.

Then....silence

Emails went unanswered, even with CC'ing in their support email

It wasn't until we sent communications via mail that finally when the letter stated the the next correspondence will be a court action, did we get a response from Paul the owner of ReloUK. Who advised the CEO was no longer with them due to making promises like these (apparently building your customer satisfaction is a negative thing) and he would not be upholding the promise of the former CEO, however he would get in contact with the insurance company.

Again silence, then in the last few minutes we have given them before logging to the court, I receive an email from Michelle, the Managing Director of Pacific Casualty and General, who came back with an offer still a lot less than repairs were worth. I made a counter offer back to which does not match the cost of repairs of the damage caused, however gets me 2/3 of the way there.

So please heed my warning and save yourself the stress of using ReloUK

Terrible. Never actually shipped

Terrible. Holding items hostage
They agreed to ship two small items. I paid for shipping in early March. They have done nothing but send an automated email weekly. When I complained, they said Red Sea issues have created problems. Really? For months?
I filed a dispute with my VISA card. The owner is too stupid to know he should just ship as contracted.

Exposing the Disappointing Customer Service of ReloUK!

I am writing this post to share my deeply disappointing and frustrating experience with ReloUK and to warn others about their lack of integrity and accountability.

Back in October 2023, I reached out to ReloUK regarding an issue with the shipment of our charity goods to Estcourt, South Africa. To my surprise, the CEO personally contacted me, requesting that I remove my negative Google and Trustpilot reviews in exchange for resolving the matter. He assured me of a swift resolution and personally taking care of the issues at hand.

However, it has been three long months since that conversation, and nothing has been resolved. The lack of progress and the broken promises from the CEO have left me questioning the integrity and trustworthiness of ReloUK's leadership.

From the very beginning, there were clear deviations from the agreed-upon plan. ReloUK failed to inform me of the necessary documents required for the removal and delivery of the goods, including the crucial import permit. As the supposed experts, they had a duty to inform me of these requirements, but their negligence resulted in significant losses for our organization.

To make matters worse, instead of delivering the goods to our offices as instructed, ReloUK arranged for them to be taken to a storage facility by Kings International, without our knowledge or consent. This unexpected change led to additional charges for storage fees and unnecessary delays.

Despite my repeated attempts to seek clarification and resolution, ReloUK has provided inconsistent explanations, illogical invoices, and an overall lack of concern for our predicament. This has left us with no choice but to pursue legal action to recover our costs and seek compensation for the time and effort wasted on this matter.

It is important to note that ReloUK is known for their deceptive responses to negative reviews, often blaming the consumer and making up excuses. It is crucial to do thorough research and understand that when a company has your goods, you are at their mercy. Most individuals don't have the resources or funds to take these companies to court, which is why they give up. But I assure you, I will not give up.

I am sharing this review to expose the disappointing customer service of ReloUK and to warn others about their unethical practices. It is my hope that this post serves as a cautionary tale and encourages others to do their due diligence before engaging with this company.
