Knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, and efficient staff

Excellent as always. Nice little speakers for hiding at the back of my AV setup. The only thing that I think could be better designed about them is some way of hiding the screw and the speaker terminals if you mount them flat on the wall. I came up with the idea of using a blank switch plate and mounting it onto that and then onto the wall but in the end I put them in the corner at 45° and then cut out a triangular piece of white plastic from a Lurpak carton to slip over the top at the back and hide the screw and wires. I thought they would be too small to work with my very large KEF speakers but they do their job surprisingly well in my opinion. The fact that they take up very little room is particularly useful.

I am always being asked by family and friends for my opinions with the purchase of most electrical and all entertainment equipment. I am always researching on what is best at any cost point so any purchase that my family and friends require they ask me to do it for them and I always go to Richer Sounds. So why, firstly you will always find any item sold by Richer Sounds is the cheapest and secondly but more important to me is the customer care and shop floor assistance. Because I always use Richer Sounds on a previous occasion they gave me a voucher for various amounts depending on the cost of my next purchase. This is now the only negative point which is shown by my 4 star review, but I must add that because of how well I was treated by the shopfloor staff it was not mentioned. When the voucher was used it was for two items which included a free sound bar, at payment point my voucher was divided between all three items. My point is how can money be deducted from a free item? But besides that small anomaly I will always go to Richer Sounds.
Update: Back to a 5 star review, the store manager dropped me a email explaining it was not what it looked like with voucher being divided between all 3 items and on a closer look I was absolutely wrong, maybe I should have paid more attention in maths at school.

Great service from the shop but crap service from their delivery contractor.

The member of staff who served me was very helpful and explained the types of TV available in the size I wanted. The stand for the TV I chose was not suitable for my set up so he found an alternative. It was a very easy purchase and I felt confident that if there were any problems I could get further support.
Everything went smoothly and the TV was delivered without delay by the friendly and helpful Gareth.

Very professional from stepping through the door to having my tv delivered and installed. Advice given but no hard sell. No push to have warranties like you get in other shops. No more expensive than going to a large retailer. Even the delivery man gave more information and was helpful and delivered to a room of choice. Installer came out promptly and completed the job.

Good advice from shop staff, painstaking explanation and response to questions and requests, friendly support in the choosing process wthout pressure.
Issue with delivery - although everyhing was intanct - boxes dameged but contents OK - I was not informed about moving back of delivery by 2 hours and there were difficulties with the goods acceptance system.

Have always used Richer Sounds Cheltenham for TV's for as long as I can remember. The staff are and have always been very friendly and helpful. Great prices and advice too. The TV I purchased (55" Samsung QN90F) is seriously impressive.

I phoned the Cheltenham store searching for Dali Spektor 1 speakers .. Pat said he would do a search and phone me back which he did which is so refreshing .. Pat located the speakers in their Stockport store.. they were sent to Cheltenham store for me to collect .. really chuffed with them.. I previously bought Soektor 2 from yourselves unfortunately these have been discontinued.
These speakers are perfect for the room we need them for.

To have the product [55” TV] delivered and installed within less than 24hrs of order speaks convincingly of the outstanding service provided by this company. M Lomas

Ordered in the shop after a useful discussion with the sales rep and arrived very promptly.

I called with a question about my turntable which wasn’t working correctly, my call was handled quickly and politely when they asked me to take it to the shop for testing. Once I had done that I received a call to say it would need to be returned to the manufacturer, and was advised it was still under warranty, plus the expected timescale. Fantastic service as always! The team are so knowledgeable and it’s easy to the trust them. So important. Thank you.
