My elderly father bought a TV and when he got it home, he realised it was too small. The Southgate store couldn't have been more helpful and kind. They immediately helped him choose the right size and refunded the first one. With no complaints and all smiles. Couldn't recommend them more highly.

I travelled to this store to collect an item. The welcome was great, staff very friendly and helpful. Loved it…..

Staff and price

Knowledgeable staff, not pushy, willing to listen to customer. Have had 2 visits, spoke to different staff on both occasions, both very amenable. A pleasure to buy from. Well done.

Went in to collect my new separates. The guy that served my and got all the boxes out of the store room and commented on my Amp choice. A discussion ensued and i ended up with a much better amp for a very good price. Very pleased with the experience. A great place to go for a HiFi novice.

Easy to find the item. Price was fair. Plenty of options (in store, home delivery, delivery to store, etc etc), and the one I chose (delivery to store) worked out fine.
Fun fact - I got my first 'hi-fi' as a present from my Dad in about 1982, and I clearly remember going to Richer Sounds to get it. London Bridge, maybe? Dual CS505-1 (long gone, replaced with a couple of Technics 1210s, also from RS, I think), NAD 3020 (nicked in the 90s when our flat was broken into), KEF Coda 2s (my daughter still has them).

Great service as always. This is the second time I am using the same branch.

I inquired at the Southgate Branch if I could get a speaker cable reterminated in store.

Ali went above and beyond and as I had requested a soldered connection which is not usually available.

I visited the store and when looked at the cable was just crimped and the repair could be done there and then for the price of the banana plugs.

Hudson did the repair with great care (stripping each of the many wires in each branch of the cable before terminating and fitting a heat shrink fixing which was a great detail), he was meticulous, careful and seemed happy to carry out the job.

So, a brilliant experience at Southgate Richer Sounds and fantastic customer service and workmanship from Ali and especially Hudson.

Will definitely consider Richer Sounds for anything I may need going forward

I went into the Southgate branch of richer sounds for the first time. I was greeted from a man asking if I needed help his name was Hudson. Told Hudson what I was looking for and he checked everything out for me with the budget I told him what I could afford. I came away very happy and with a new tv the price. size and the quality that I asked for. Hudson your a very knowledgeable man you know your test Hank you for all your help will certainly use richer sounds again thank you.

I have just purchased a LG TV and Soundbar from Richer Sounds in Southgate.

The person I spoke to was a gentleman named Dan, who was the most professional, courteous, knowledgeable and helpful person I have dealt with in a very long time.He is a credit to Richer Sounds and I can only say a big thank you for all his help.There is nowhere else to go for ‘old fashioned’ service which will provide repeat sales and recommendations.

I had a problem with my CD player, and I tried various avenues to try to get it repaired. A quote was obtained from one source, which I considered. At the same time I found a new cd player for sale at Richer Sounds, which actually cost very little more than my quote for the repair to my old player. Buying the new player would also get me a better guarantee than having the old one repaired (which was only for 12 months).
I rang Richer Sounds and enquired whether they had the player available to be collected. The member of staff I spoke told me that it could be picked up the next day, or, she advised me, that it could be delivered to my door next day before midday. I opted to have the item delivered. I paid for for it over the phone and the player arrived at my house very early the next morning.
The whole process was easy and staff very efficient. I would certainly put Richer Sounds at the forefront in the event that I require Hi Fi items in the future.

The supply and prompt delivery were excellent. Paying for the product proved difficult and I eventually was charged twice! However I noticed this on my bank account and a refund was quickly given.

I would like to say thank you to Dan at the Southgate branch of Richer Sounds for his help and advice when purchasing a Marantz CD 6007 to replace a failed 6004. After much discussion of many things it was ordered and arrived the next day in-store when I also purchased some 0.5 meter layline interconnect cables.
As some else mentioned in the reviews the CD 6007 has 2 filter options and options for the amp as well, filter 2 works well for me and it plays a rather scratched war of the worlds cd without jumping to another track. Overall I am really pleased with this player.

You supplied what I was looking for at a good price, and as your shop is quite near to where I live it was easy to collect what I bought.
