Potential readers should be aware that the company appears to be attempting to misrepresent or undermine this review. Based on my experience and previous concerns regarding their honesty, I believe this response further reflects the way they conduct their business.

I would not recommend this moving company. The service was highly unprofessional from start to finish. The movers showed little care for my belongings, resulting in multiple items being damaged during the move. Despite paying for a complete service, the job was not finished as agreed, leaving me to deal with unresolved issues afterward.

In addition to the poor workmanship, the overall attitude and behaviour of the team fell well below what I would expect from a professional moving company. There was a clear lack of accountability, attention to detail, and respect for both my property and my time.

Moving home is stressful enough without having to worry about damaged possessions and incomplete work. Unfortunately, this company failed to deliver the standard of service they advertised, and my experience was extremely disappointing.

First and foremost - we highly appreciated the huge integrity of this company. The task was to move our goods from Wallingford to France. RJS had included in their quotation the sum of £400 tax that we would have to pay on our goods at the French border. In the event, the tax levy was close to £1,000. But RJS honoured their quotation of £400 tax, saying they would absorb the difference. The removal itself went like clockwork and was great fun.

Outstanding service - nothing was too much trouble!

I would highly recommend RJS - our protracted move meant we had more contact than I anticipated but nothing was ever too much trouble. Richard was very easy to deal with, listens carefully and makes sensible suggestions borne out by years of experience.

The team on the day were beyond helpful - we could not have asked for more, an absolute joy to be around on one of the most stressful days of our lives!

Highly recommended doesn't cut it, you would be mad to go anywhere else. 5 STARS all round.

The best judge of a company is how they respond when something goes wrong and RJS were superb. When delivering ur home effects to us, 70 miles from Steventon, after a period of storage, part of the delivery got left behind. It was Friday, 10 days before Christmas and they had a foreign delivery due to set out on Sunday. But when they realised the problem. They went away thought about it - and then came back to say they had changed the ferry booking and would deliver the rest of our effects the following day. It meant the team at RJS must have effectively worked 2 weeks without a weekend break. I just wish all the companies we use were as good.

Richard moved us from Marcham to Faringdon. Communications was excellent throughout. On the day, Mark (Richard's dad) took full control of the gang and his humour made the day that less stessful. I would definately recommend RJS. Top job.

Richard really does run a family business. The service we received from Richard, his father (who was a hoot) and the whole team which included Richard’s son and Wife and Grandmother was a great experience and they were all, to a man and woman, marvellous. I cannot recommend these people highly enough. They were kind, courteous, efficient, empathetic and just thoroughly decent folk. Good on Richard. He’s created a good business here. Back off anyone looking to buy them!! Let them build the empire they richly deserve.

We were recommended RJS Removals by a family friend.
Met with Richard a month prior to discuss our needs. We were both really impressed and immediately paid the deposit. When moving day arrived, Richard and his team arrived and took charge! Nothing was too much trouble, and the guys were so professional, with a great sense of humour too! These guys worked so hard, and literally did not stop. They took the stress out of our moving day. If we were ever to move again, we wouldn't hesitate to book Richard. Thankyou so much guys.

We used RJS for our recent removal from Oxford to Abingdon. We met with a Richard who explained the process very well, they completed our removal in 6 hours and even dismantled and reassembled 2 beds (it took me 2 hours to build that bed)

We are very happy, we will recommend RJS to our local Chinese community in oxford.

A brilliant customer service.
Althought due to moving circumstances and associated dates, this company did not move us. But Richard bent over backwards offering help when our 'chain' caused us some chaos. We were offered assistance with storage and moving that was not convenient to the company due to their existing commitments. So helpful when trying to navigate demands of the chain below us.
Richard responded quickly even when in the middle of an existing job. He took the time and effort to call back - beyond what most companies would have done.

Genuine 5-star service from Richard and Steve, assisting us with the heavier items on our short but busy move from Kidlington to Ardley. They took great care of our furniture, including glass display units, & even shifted a few extra items that would fit nicely on their van, saving us the strain later! Would definitely recommend!

Absolutely brilliant, we can’t fault them. Nothing was too much to ask and even though we were late getting the keys they stayed late to make sure all our beds were built etc. We highly recommend them. Thank you Richard and your fabulous team! A*******

We've just had our items delivered to Mojacar, Spain from our Oxford address of 20 years. We were recommended Richard from RJS Removals Ltd and we are so glad we used his company. They arrived on Monday to pack our items and we received them on Friday, no damages, we even received daily updates which was really helpful. Thanks again Richard and your lovely team. Safe travels back to the UK.
