Fast response to enquiry however the compatibility of Rolec Wall Pro abd Octopus Intelligent go is still a sticking point. As a consumer I only see the problem but can't resolve the issue that has to be between Octopus and Rolec.

Rolec EV home charger with Monta app. Problems started at installation- neither Rolec or Monta were available to help the installer for hours - which I had to pay for! System has been totally unreliable since. I have no confidence in the scheduling function nor can I find an electricity supplier to support this configuration for cheap overnight rates. Painful as it is I have decided to rip this appalling system out and install a more reliable configuration.

I received a high quality of technical support from Rolec with full understanding of the issue. The advisor listened well, took a lot of time to really help and get to the bottom of the problem and was extremely skilled, expert and knowledgeable of the everything - the charge point, the Rolec App, the Rolec Connect App, the software. First class service and completely solved the problem, as well as providing additional guidance/advice longer-term. Thank you

It took over an hour on hold to speak to someone. They blamed my wifi which I proved was not the case. They then moved it to second line support who took a further five days to respond to me. And then blame the wifi again. Once I'd explained why that was not the case they agreed to get an engineer out. That took a further three days to arrange. The engineer told me that there are design flaws in the product which lead to the board failing in extreme heat conditions. You'd think that someone would have thought of this.
Having already had one false start with a faulty product installed, I have serious doubts about both the products and the service Rolec provide. I would urge anyone considering their products to think twice before committing.

Rolec responded to our issue with the cahrger and had it reopaired in 24 hours fantasic service.

Absolute rubbish. Frequently drops off line. Reboots galore required. Should just be plug and go but make charging a challenge. Frequently have to add device back into the app. App also frequently responds "request timed out"

Max was excellent. Focused, knowledgable. I’ve had a number of issues but with his help they were all resolved.

We had our new Rolec EV charger installed today after our QUBEV unfortunately developed a fault, and I have to say, the difference in quality is fantastic.
The Rolec feels far more premium, it looks great, and it’s incredibly easy to use. So far, I’m really impressed with it and definitely feel like we made the right choice switching to Rolec.

My only gripe and honestly, one that baffles me is the standby light. Why does a standby light need to continuously flash blue?!
I understand that you can turn the brightness down, but the fact that it constantly flashes is still really annoying, especially at night. It seems slightly counterintuitive to call it a standby light when it’s constantly drawing your attention to itself!
Please, Rolec 🙏 could you add an option in a future firmware update to have the standby light solid blue rather than continuously flashing? That would be perfect.

Apart from that, I absolutely love the charger. Great quality and really easy to use. 👌

I've been installing vehicle chargers for over 10 years and have used many different manufacturers. By far the quality and technical service of Rolec shines through.

I cannot thank Lukasz Wozniak enough for his fantastic support in helping me connect my EV charger. He was incredibly patient, polite and professional throughout the whole process.

What really stood out was how clearly he explained everything. He broke the process down into simple, easy-to-follow steps and made what initially seemed quite complicated feel straightforward. He took the time to make sure I understood what I needed to do and stayed patient until the issue was resolved.

what pleased me most was the quick response to my quote request also with the couple of question my customer had ask me to Raise the Sales Team could not have be more Helpful and very Polite and asked how i was that in its self is nice and they followed up asking how quote was going. spoke with Tilly Appleby few times and never seemed to be a problem for her to get answers and come back to me .

The charger has had several issues since installation so was eventually told by the installer that someone from Rolec was coming to swop it over. Day 1 that he was supposed to arrive - no show. I messaged the installer and was told he was coming on day 2 in the morning. Waited in again all day - no show and no message to even explain why. If you want a very average charger and abysmal after sales support, Rolec is the company for you. Will be asking the installer to remove it and fit a proper charger that works and has some semblance of professionalism about their business.
